I only have 1 Shinedown album 'Amaryllis'. Love all the songs on there: but upbeat tempo despite lyrics is 'I'm not alright' is a faster paced, and a bit different from the slower songs.
I would say that except for Threat to Survival, which I consider their ok-est album, I can listen to any Shinedown Record from top to bottom without skips. Threat to Survival has some really good songs, but they aren't all musical gems.
Monsters, Symptoms of being human, Get up, Call me, The Crow & the Butterfly, Bully, 45. There are so, so many. I’m just really glad that you’re doing them. They are my number one band.
I am a music nut Jay! Just starting this video, my first Shinedown song ever right now! My initial appeal of your channel was seeing how you react to old favorites that I grew up to, that’s always fun, but I love that this family is so diverse and pours out all kinds of suggestions and that you get the spoils of us all here too-old favorites, new things for all of us too-music is a gift that fuels us all, helps us with our joys and angst and struggles, we’re all so blessed to have this huge recorded catalog to draw from. Keep listening, and family keep sharing. Good stuff!
For 20 years, every song Shinedown put out has broken the top 10 in the US mainstream rock category, never peaking below the #5 spot. Every single time, without fail. No other band has ever achieved that.
One of my absolutely favorite Rock bands in the past 10 years!!! Love them!!! Love Them!!! Love Them!!! Great authentic raw talented musicians with an incredible lead vocalist and frontman who is one of the best today!!! Glad you are getting back to them....Let's GOOOOOOoooooo!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Band formed in 2001. Brent and Barry (drummer) are the original members still in the band. Zach and Eric are the new members if you can call them new. They joined on theSound of Madness album tour and never left. They are amazing! Have seen them live 11 times and cannot recommend their music enough. Plus they are working on their 8th album now!! Additionally, they have the most number 1 songs on the Billboard Mainstream Rock Airplay with 19!! If you twist my arm to recommend some songs, then I would have to go say Call Me, Daylight, How Did You Love, Monsters, Get Up, Bully, Atlas Falls, Breaking Inside, Never Gonna Let Go, Symptom of Being Human.
My close friend in college is the brother of one of the former members of the band. In 2002, they hadn't hit it big yet, and were touring with Seether. I went to the show with my friend, and to get us ready for the show, he gave me a CD with a bunch of their demos on it. A version of this song was on that CD. I would suggest a lot of their earlier stuff - 45, Fly From the Inside, and Save Me are all really good songs. Their later stuff is good too (my favorite being The Crow and The Butterfly and Call Me), but the older stuff has that nostalgia feel for me.
This band are amazing. Call Me, Symptom of Being Human, Dysfunctional You, Monsters, Get Up, Black Soul. I could still be recommending songs this time next week
Brent has an excellent set of pipes and his vocals are always on point. There are no bad Shinedown songs. They are one of this "old" ladies favorite bands. 🤘
You’re gonna love the rabbit hole! Monsters is one of my favorite songs. The Attention Attention album is amazing from start to finish. It really should be enjoyed from beginning to end to experience the full effect of this concept album. The DVD adds a visual masterpiece to match. Enjoy!
How? How did I forget about this song?? It’s going immediately on my playlist! Saw them in concert last year & they were sooo good. You should check out The Crow & The Butterfly. Another amazing Shinedown song. 🔥
Rob! So good to see you checking out more shinedown. If i can suggest another one, check out "No More Love" from the same album- Leave a whisper. Keep them reactions coming!
Don’t think I have ever heard them, but I love the lead singer’s voice! His voice reminds me of another singer, but, I can’t think of who it is. They are definitely awesome!!❤❤ Thanks for the suggestion and your reaction Jordan!❤
Shinedown is one of my all-time favorite band, they have so many great songs, even the ones that were not singles. Symptom Of Being Human, Through The Ghost, Devil, Sound Of Madness, The Crow And Butterfly, 45, Second Chance, If You Only Knew, Monster, Amaryllis, Unity, Enemies, Miracle, I'll Follow You, Lost In The Crowd, Call Me, Cut The Cord, Asking For It, State Of My Head, Thick As Thieves, Misfits, Shed Some Light
Shinedown has made their way into my top 5 bands of all time. Every song they put out is a hit, and even the ones they don't release as singles are bangers. I definitely recommend going down the Shinedown rabbit hole. You will not be disappointed 🤘🤘
I love this song! It hits hard! I think of Robin Williams, he had the biggest smile and made everyone else smile. He shined the brightest for us all. But he battled his darkness alone and hidden from everyone. Like so many people how battles with depression. You should do 45 live acoustic from kansas city!!
Please do more Shinedown. I said it many many times. Second Chance, I'll Follow You, Symptom of Being Human, Daylight, Save Me, 45, If you Only Knew, Call Me, Hope, Monsters Just a few to start with.
You could do entire albums from them, Amaryllis, Threat to Survival, Attention Attention, Planet Zero so many amazing songs! So many others I didn’t even mention!
I know friend like this.....they are so afraid of be happy because just around the corner something awful might happen and we have GOT to get out of that mind=set of living in fear.....as the Famous Sci-Fi book and popular Movie of Dune constantly emphasize.."FEAR is The Mind killer" and also in the Scriptures says ..There is no in fear and Love cast out all fear. Surely things bad happen but celebrate the good that is happening also....and believe it or not more good things are happening than the bad. I love this song and the deep message in it. Good reaction.
Don't forget that Lzzy Hale & Halestorm have another recent song the band put out 2 years ago called "Steeple" It is AMAZING!!!! A HARD Hitting Banger!!!! It would be great for "Female Friday!"
The album Leave A Whisper is such a classic. Be sure to listen to the rest of it. And you’ll get a giant boost in subscribers if you react to NF and Linkin Park songs from the Chester-era.
Shinedown is the greatest rock and roll band on the planet. They got a lot of songs that are rock really hard they got some slower songs and they experiment a lot with their music. They deal with a lot of mental health and addiction in the music. Maybe try symptom of being human
This song wasn't, but other Shinedown songs were produced by Rick Beato (pronounced Bee auto) Rick talks to everyone on his TH-cam channel his video breaking down Bohemian Rhapsody had Brian May as a guest.
I would recommend reacting to Nova Twins - Antagonist (Official Music Video). They are a fantastic alternative metal band with a black female singer who I think you would love.
You wanna hear something really different? Check out Electric Callboy(formorly Eskamo Callboy). A German band that's hit it big in the U.S. in the last say 2-3 years. Once you hear them, you'll never forget them. They have a very quirky sense of humor.....I suggest you start with their video for their single "Pump It" , or "Hypa Hypa".
...actually can I please get Seether-Fine Again, or Fake it? I sure would love to give you a playlist, but either of those two would be awesome my friend!
You need to check out Smith & Myers which is the lead singer Brent Smith and guitarist Zach Myers side project. They started out doing amazing covers but on the last ep they wrote a bunch of new songs. I love it.
If I started recommending Shinedown songs I would never stop. I have a playlist of around 70 of their songs.
Amen
100% true, even their not well known songs are good. Songs like In Memory, Fake, and Call Me didn't get the hype they deserved honestly.
@@feardabroodCall Me might be my favorite song. Especially the live version from Kansas City
“There”s nothing ever wrong, but nothing’s ever right, such a cruel contradiction “… MY FAVORITE lyric EVER in ANY song ❤❤❤
"I'll follow you" "save me" "45" "call me" "crow and the butterfly" "second chance"
@ccorbin18 all slow or semi slow ones? Not rockers like Enemies, Cry For Help, Dangerous, Diamond Eyes, sound of Magness, or devour?
What A Shame and Devil. Both great songs
Monsters, Symptoms of being human, Get up, Call me, The Crow & the Butterfly, Bully, 45. There are so, so many. I’m just really glad that you’re doing them. They are my number one band.

extremely tight band. This energy really carries over to their live performances as well
I could tell you were feeling this one Jay. I don’t know what you’re going through but hang in there man and never give up.
J, I’m so glad our doing this song. Shinedown is an amazing group. Such a great sound.
Love🤍it. Keep the great ones coming !! 🤘🏼💀🤘🏼
One of my absolutely favorite Rock bands in the past 10 years!!! Love them!!! Love Them!!! Love Them!!! Great authentic raw talented musicians with an incredible lead vocalist and frontman who is one of the best today!!! Glad you are getting back to them....Let's GOOOOOOoooooo!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
awesome ... !
Next Shinedown song has to be "Second Chance" for you to react to!!!
Go through this whole album. The name of the album is called Leave a whisper.
This is one of my absolute favorite songs by them. As much as I love all their albums, this one is still my favorite.

My favorite Shinedown song. Save Me is awesome too
Sound of Madness is a must listen and it will pump you up
They did that one already along with simple man
First song i heard from Shinedown. Twenty years ago. Been listening thru ups and downs of my life.
My close friend in college is the brother of one of the former members of the band. In 2002, they hadn't hit it big yet, and were touring with Seether. This was the song that first introduced me to Shinedown. Never gets old.
That was beautiful Jordan! Never heard it but it was PROFOUND! Hanging in here together Baby!
cheers !
What A Shame from Shinedown is another great song. Powerful song.
One of my favorite shinedown songs!
This band are amazing. Call Me, Symptom of Being Human, Dysfunctional You, Monsters, Get Up, Black Soul. I could still be recommending songs this time next week
This entire album is phenomenal.
Brent has an excellent set of pipes and his vocals are always on point. There are no bad Shinedown songs. They are one of this "old" ladies favorite bands. 🤘

I keep telling you to check out cut the cord. By Shinedown. Is the most badass song ever
Symptom of being human, monsters, enemies, devil, bully, cut the cord, and on. Over 20 songs at least. ❤️❤️❤️
Please do yourself a favor and explore much more Shinedown! So so many great songs to choose from; bangers to ballads, they’re all amazing ❤❤
45 was the first song i heard by them. It along with many of their songs hits hard in the lyrics.
Don’t think I have ever heard them, but I love the lead singer’s voice! His voice reminds me of another singer, but, I can’t think of who it is. They are definitely awesome!!❤❤
Thanks for the suggestion and your reaction Jordan!❤
When he started singing this. I thought he sounded like a Scott Stapp of Creed from Orlando Florida
@ This may be who I am thinking of!
My favorite band. Lyrics are always killer.
Diamond Eyes. Boom lay boom lay boom.
Shinedown started in Jacksonville FL in 2001
shinedown- a symptom of being human
If You Only Knew, Sound of Madness, I'll Follow You, Through the Ghost, Get Up, The Human Radio, Attention Attention, to name a few.

Fly from the inside is prolly my favorite from them. Check it out!
This song hits home for me. Try listening to If You Only Knew. There's so many awesome, amazing songs from Shinedown. Thanks
Shinedown and Breaking Benjamin have never put a bad song out ever.
Got to check these guys out at a small outside venue before they blew up. Wasn't hard to see that they were destined for greater things.
Saw Shinedown in July. Im a newbie fan. Was such a great show!
"Fly From The Inside" and "Dead Don't Die" are two songs you will love. 💯 ❤
"Cut the Cord" is another one you'd really like!!
This band is criminally underrated ❤
Nice choice! Other stuff to check out along the same sound, Seether, Fuel, Staind, Three Days Grace, Puddle of Mudd.
Save me, Diamond eyes, If you only knew, Enemies, and so many more.
You gotta do "How Did You Love".
"I Dare You." Fantastic song for sure!
Please go down the Shinedown rabbit hole ❤
Crow and the butterfly is one of my favorites.
Look up 45 acoustic version is the best version of the song and you wont be disappointed, i promise.
Great band. Saw them first open for Van Halen. And I was a fan. 2nd Chance is a great song
My favourite song is the one that no one talks about. "What a Shame" from Sound of Madness. One of the best lyrics I'vve ever heard.
Cool reaction! Love ya lots!❤❤❤❤❤
Love these guys
Please do more Shinedown. I said it many many times. Second Chance, I'll Follow You, Symptom of Being Human, Daylight, Save Me, 45, If you Only Knew, Call Me, Hope, Monsters Just a few to start with.
It’s about his Dad. 🧓 Suggest Cut the Cord. I’ve seen them9 times. My favorite band. 😊😊😊

They're my favorite band!
The entire Leave a Whisper album is great!
Don't forget that Lzzy Hale & Halestorm have another recent song the band put out 2 years ago called "Steeple" It is AMAZING!!!! A HARD Hitting Banger!!!! It would be great for "Female Friday!"
The genre your describing as heavy rock 'n roll is known as hard rock.
🤘😉
Symptom of Being human has gotten me through a lot of bad shit in the past year
Ouch. The loss of Amber has resulted in the loss of over 2k in subs, and quite a lot of views. Keep going king.
I grew up with the lead singer...knoxville tn
Brett smith really? That’s awesome
Brent Smith was born in Knoxville, Tennessee. Shinedown was formed in Jacksonville, Florida in 2001
@@RobSquadReactions yes, best buds until he left to form the band. he had that voice in 7th grade
@RobSquadReactions we still are buddies. good guy
The album Leave A Whisper is such a classic. Be sure to listen to the rest of it. And you’ll get a giant boost in subscribers if you react to NF and Linkin Park songs from the Chester-era.

Monsters, I’ll Follow You, Cut The Cord
Ok, you asked!!! Save Me, 45, Cut the Cord, Enemies. You can’t go wrong with any Shinedown song though
I would love to hear the lead singer of Shinedown do a collaboration with Jerry Cantrell from Alice In Chains, I think it would sound amazing
Yay!!!
Fly from the Inside “Live” 🔥
Second Chance is awesome by Shinedown
Shinedown is the greatest rock and roll band on the planet. They got a lot of songs that are rock really hard they got some slower songs and they experiment a lot with their music. They deal with a lot of mental health and addiction in the music. Maybe try symptom of being human
You can’t go wrong with Shinedown, but please react to “Daylight”. One of my favorites from them
Jay! I think the lyrics There's nothing never wrong. There's nothing never right, hit us both at the same time.
What a Shame is one of their best that doesn't get enough play.
Check out their live from Kansas City video of 45!!!
