So I went to college with the brother of Shinedown's original guitarist, Jasin Todd. When they came to town, he got us backstage with them and Seether. It was a mind-blowing concert, and one of the best nights of my college experience. Great guys, good fun, and awesome music.
Shinedown is my favorite modern rock band. They are incredibly versatile with their music. I'd suggest you also check out: 1. Save Me 2. Second Chance 3. Monsters 4. 45 5. I'll Follow You And they have so many more great song.

You are both beautiful people. I just found your channel recently. I used to play in a Jazz band back in the early 90s in Boston. Just a small jazz band that played at a martini bar. Played Clarinet and Sax. Alto and B flat for both. You guys rock and the smooth jam you guys do listening to the amazing music is contagious.
Shine Down's song Atlas Falls is about banding together during COVID-19 quarantine of 2020 and rising up thru the ashes. The lyrics are so uplifting and still ROCK!!!

I found Shinedown through looking for song covers, found Smyth and Myers first, they are the singer and lead guitar player from Shinedown, since then I've come to really like their originals. A lot of their music touches on mental health issues. "Symptom of being Human", "Monsters", "45" are all great ones. For another artist that does mental health topics really well, look up NF, Nathan Feuerstein, "Mansion" or "Happy" would be my suggestion.

This is the result of the premature birth of my first child, who lived for 8 hours. I was convinced that it was my fault and that my body betrayed me. Needless to say I am still in treatment and managing well. Jay, I heard you mention that you too have a mental health issue. Keep on keeping on Brother. Take good care of yourself. Love to you and Amber❤
