When you started your business, were you subcontracting from another company to get your jobs? Most utility companies won't let new businesses bid on contracts. It's a task to get invited to bid for At&t and the like contracts. Most require a contractor to list the equipment and jobs that they've completed or worked on and who for.

Question for the Driller, do you have any resources for HDD companies on how to deal with local governments? It seems that they don’t know anything about HDD and fiber optics installations. They are always complaining about issues that will get fixed if they just wait an hour. Also the local permitting is always super awful.
