@@Mega-Char-XHow? Dragon is pretty mid offensively. It is only good against itself, is resisted by Steel (the best defensive type in the game) and does nothing to Fairy. Also, I would much rather a move's type make it overpowered than not make sense.
I also recommend a Stellar-Tera Contrary Enamorus build. Enamorus is immune to all of Rayquaza's STTAB (Dragon-type) moves as well as Earthquake, and that doesn't change when you Terastallize it into the Stellar type. Contrary inverts the Attack decrease from the infinite-STTAB always-super-effective Stellar Tera Blast into an Attack increase. Also, you can give it a Metronome to increase damage further if the same move is used in succession.
It's so nostalgic to hear that you used my favourite Pokémon games ORAS Groudon, Kyogre & Rayquaza battle theme! It's awewome that Black Rayquaza's in Pokémon Scarlet & Violet I tryed to find it from Pladea today on Scarlet, but it wasn't anywhere yet. Is it possible it's there now or at night time here in Europe? Black Rayquaza respect Pokémon Horizons anime and the year of the Dragon 2024!🐉🖤🔥🔥
Soloed it with Sylveon. Fake tears 1st turn, Draining Kiss until I Testralized, then Draining Kiss until I ran out and finally two Hyper Beams. Also was using covert cloak as a held item. Did it first try.
I used Iron Valiant to catch Shiny Rayquaza and knowing that it would have both Dragon Ascent and Hurricane which would've knocked out my Iron Valiant and took a chunk of time but because I was able to get it to Tera Fairy and didn't get the confusion status, Rayquaza just kept on spamming Extreme Speed and Earthquake which did absolutely nothing and I basically hit it with both Spirit Break and Moonblast to take it down. FYI this was the same Iron Valiant I used to take down the 5-star Palkia as well so yeah
I always use Heal Balls every time I catch a Tera Raid Pokemon, so I can restore their HP immediately after catching them. 🥰💖 Heal Balls are the best for catching Pokemon in any raid, so maybe I can use Heal Balls to catch Dynamax Pokemon in Pokemon Shield, too.
You took damage because dragon ascent is a flying type move 😊
ah yeah 😂😭 i been off for too long, forgot the basics. Thank you for the correction ❤️😊
@@KBPokemon you're welcome
Don't know why it is Flying-type. Is it just because it is called Dragon 'Ascent'?
@Mystmon I think because a 120 base power dragon move that doesn't confuse you would be overpowered

The reason Azumarill took damage from Dragon Ascent is because it is a flying type move, but it makes sense that you thought it was a dragon move
appreciate the correction ❤️🙏🏻
totally forgot! was so confused when it hit me 😂😭 been off pokemon sv too long haha
No problem :)
Used max leveled Alolan Ninetails fairy tera type, I had both Scarlet and Violet Games so I now have two Shiny Rayquaza in Pokémon Home.
