Good luck safe Travels. Unfortunately the Oz government doesn't know what its doing or how to properly handle this situation so you can be sure what is Ok for today, will have changed by the time you get here. Food for thought.
nice to hear from you again :-) try to get some paper from the harbor you are living from with date and clock that would maybe help you when you get to Australia to shorten the quarantine fair winds be safe from DK :-)

We are advised to not visit our elderly relatives at all. But you guys will have done plenty of quarantine. Hope you have a good crossing. At least the series of highs would push any cyclones onshore in Queensland, unfortunately for us Queenslanders. There again Lord Howe got a bit of a blow recently. The science of predicting the things is out of my reach. Good job NOAA does it for us. I'd rather find toilet roll in Woolworths than peas in my solitude, sorry I think you meant peace.
