US Air Force video by Senior Airman Joshua Roberts - วิทยาศาสตร์และเทคโนโลยี
As a former paratrooper, jumping out of perfectly good airplanes, they are checking the surfaces for anything that can cut or entangle the static line. Thus endangering the paratroopers life. He/she has other things to worry about. Like the chute deploying by the time they count four. Making sure the chute opens correctly. Keeping an eye out so they don't get tangled up with another jumper. Letting their ruck sacks loose at the proper time. They are attached to the harness and drop about 25ft. Going through the proper parachute landing fall. The sequence is, or was, balls of the feet. The thigh. The buttocks. And back. Much to do and remember when jumping from approximately 750ft from the ground.
AATW
1250 feet at least in airborne school
What they check on the edge of the door after they opened it? If there are cutting edges?
Yes. Any damage to the air frame that might cut the bungee cords. If it was cut, their chutes wouldn't open.
Anything thing in the door way that the static line can get caught on or anything that can catch their harnesses and make you a tow jumper
@@MartianV2GG exactly
Yes
Yes sir that's what they check sharp objects
3:12 I thought they were dropping that shit lmao
ikr I was thinking the same thing... no way he's climbing in as they're about to drop it
I was like damn dude just got in
Haha me too. He was going to ride it down like Slim Pickens in Dr Strangelove
Graduating airborne school tomorrow. That was some of the craziest shit I’ve ever done and I’ll do it again 😂😂😂
Fantastic video
Thank you for your services
What are the yellow cords attached to them before they jump for???
Sure didnt look like they were high enough to jump....I always thought I was tough, grew up hunting deer, elk, falling timber, own my excavation business. These young soldiers way more brave, tougher then me. Wonderful brave Soldiers.
Usually 800 feet for a training jump and 500 for a combat jump
You guys got some balls. Thanks for everything u guys do for us
All with their "brian" properly washed.
Who else thought they were airdropping the HMMVs with dudes riding em down at 3:10 👀
😂
Same here
Yo🖐️
I did
Tad bit of a mind fuck with the transition here lol I aswell fell for it
I served in the 1st Bn. 509th Abn Inf. in Italy 1980 to 83, and I really like the little " Geronimo" patches these guy's were wearing on their kevlars, Can anybody tell me where i can find them, I've looked on line , can someone help an old " Jumper" ???
I’m here to read all the comments posted by all the military experts (who have received a Purple Heart for hand cramps while playing Call of Duty.)
Good team work and see the way they scan the out side door for safety reason. Thanks for sharing this video of our own U.S ARMY.
The U.S. ARMY and the U.S. AIR FORCE.
The Air Force flies the C-17 Globemaster.
And, it was a USAF loadmaster that checked the door security.
Imagine when they are pulling the lines back in, there is a full geard backpack on one of the lines.
On one of my jumps from a C119 flying box car they had more than a backpack. It was the guy who jumped just after me. Now that is Airborne tough.
I remember my brother telling me during one of his parachuting excercises a guy in his platoon packed his bag wrong Nd ended up breaking his whole lower half, paratrooper stance all the way down to the ground
Nice job AiirSource! I think the next video should be an air drop!
Imo
@1:31 - The stone-cold look on the #2 guy in the chalk is damned impressive considering he is about to jump out a perfectly good airplane...
No such thing as a perfectly good airplane. 😁
As a sport skydiver I have to say that I have big respect for these guys. That's a low exit!
Makes for a rough landing for sure. Loved my time in the Army because of this.

That's the way we do it... In my case did it

At 4:30 the humvee's machine gun is firing rounds from a disintergrating belt. Presumably those links will become a major FOD hazard since it is close to an active runway/taxiway. Why not use a box/bag collector for those links fitted to the gun?
Where these Guys are Firing their Blanks at ? at the Plane ?
Where is this?
What are they checking for around the door all the time?
Anyone know why the dude who opened the door wipes the rim of the door frame?
Checks for sharp edges etc.

What is the purpose of that rubber chain which they bind
arvind sharma || It holds onto their parachutes so whenever they finish jumping they pull up the empty parachute bags as you see near the end of the video
Super job
I miss this
Nice job
Porque passam a mao no aviao antes de saltar?
Very adventurous

Very nice sir
what is the use of yellow strips?
They are called static lines, used to pull the parachute out of the pack on the trooper.
Is.not.para.sit.only.belt.sistam.OK.
PLEASE, USE CAMERA & TRAILORS
How many planes and how many men are you spraying on the ground? It's amazing.
I guess the C17 was notional when he opened fire.. 😂😂
Yrrrr kiya komal he, super video
Why didn’t they drop in the Humvee’s?
Wonderful
At around 1:58. What's up with the jumpmaster's rucksack? Doesn't look secure. It also looks like he has to pee.
That’s Carl.
His bad is actually fine, it's just light
Last out usually has some walking to do,
i wondered who is gonna clean up all the blanks & belts or links after tat exercise? It could be a flying hazards in tat airfiled right?
hon yee chou you are!
Hurrah....it would be an honour for me.
hon yee chou thank god someone has the right attitude to save the world, god bless you my son.
+Kevin Evans
so that's it?... cleaning those spent bullets in this exercise and the world is saved. hmmm so that was easy.
Thanks bhai
C130s has a static line retriever to haul in the yellow static lines.
So does the c17 but don’t often use it when pulling them back in manually takes less time
Oh, so that's what a can o whoopass looks like.
Just a check to make sure nothing is there to hinder the deployment of troops
Does everyone on the crew or flight deck have a parachute incase they are somehow thrown form the plane?
john ledford No, the crew on the flight deck are considered expendable.
mangore623 they have on FF packs in case. There is no air pressure inside like they portray on the movies,Wesley Snipes!
Hooked in to the aircraft
Great job of showing the public how it goes down,Would love to see sim doors at night with C.E!

Wow 😮 great video 👏🏼👏🏼
Lucky to be inside Globemaster C17
Десантирование с Ил 76 лучше, дверь открывается гидравликой и прыгают в 4 потока, два через левую и правую дверь и два потока через заднюю большую. Мне нравилось через заднюю дверь... Псков 77-79.
I guess landing a lot would be the great selling point for an aircraft that has less than twice the range than that of the C-17 Globemaster and is twenty or so years older as well!
So, the ten guys it takes to crew that flying fossil, will get to stop more often to refuel the aircraft and send postcards home while the Globemaster will be back home just in time for a hearty steak and eggs breakfast!

Check door frames for foreign object damage ensure that there are no sharp or jagged edges to enable the smooth deployment of the stick of troops.
two jump masters and two load masters all four are hooked up
Can’t wait to be a soldier
Comments were great!

Awesome
I thought the first humvee was driving off 2,000 feet with no chute, nearly lost my shit
No such thing as a perfectly good airplane, that’s why they make parachutes!
3:07 i thought the cars will fly with a parachute as well :(
Im Muffy
Me too I heard they also drop Tanks by parachute but not with this type of plane
leeloo me also
me too :(
leeloo me too. I thought it would be like fast and furious.
Me too I was just imaginsting how could it would be that you were on the roof of the car as it slowly fell out of the airplane then just be on the air with this adrenaline of the beauty that's life but that's just my idea
what are those lines for is it important what the do, i have seen Special forces jumping without these lines 🤔
Yes they are important they are what pull the parachute out of the bag
@@Burger-gf5iw
any video about this???
I don’t think there are videos about it but it’s just the model of parachute they use that has the line
Hi
Guessing that the first guy and the second one when they were feeling around the seems of the door, the were making sure that there was nothing anywhere around it that could catch on to any of the paratrouplers is that right????
Making sure no sharp edges to cut or damage the static line
Nice bhai
was hoping the hummer would get thrown out too - why check the door if the guy who opens it checks it too
It is a thing called Double Checking
Jesus Christ look how low they are. plus that's a crash landing roll
Hope someone went and picked up all the metal from the ammo belts. Imagine that going though the intake of a jet engine.. I dont think they thought that part through.
whats the function of that yellow rope?
its called a static line its hooked to the cable in the plane the other end is connected to the top of the chute his weight and speed breaks that tie to free him from the plane that happens very fast
It opens the parachute. Soldier dont have to pull anything.
Nice training
Very nic training
Really good jabs out the door boyz..nice work! Check Canopy!!
He's flying!
NICE
should use a mechanism to do this and not let the edge of door guide the webbing that's extremely dangerous.
I Have SUPER bad Hight issues
Why jump? Be a real cowboy and just land on the runway :p
I wanted to see the vehicles drop as well 😀
Wow very Good
