My therapist suggested this video in 2018, and it's still my go-to meditation video. no frills, effective, and short. thank you so much for creating this!
Did this fir the first time. The thing I noticed by the end is how different I was breathing, longer, calmer breaths than when I began. Nice. Liked this. Thanks
I been doing imagery work for 30 yrs and its hard to learn to be able to do it by yourself, when I feel crappy, like now,,I try find the 3 min mindfulness, and I just came across this, it's very good,,some may say others videos are better but to me there all different in there own way, this really helped me,,Im gone thru few things that Im struggling with, so ty for sharing
I have this meditation as an assignment for my OCD therapy... I don't feel calm, I feel bombarded with agitation & obsessions when I don't engage my mind & body in anything... maybe with time it'll work.. who knows!
I know it's been a few months now so this might be unnecessary, but there's this guy Dr. Alok Kanojia, he trained to be a monk for 7 years and instead became a psychiatrist, and he's talked about a meditation technique that's good for ADHD and it sounds like it might be good for you too. Basically you can't force a kid to sit still because they're full of energy and will remain restless, instead you have to tire them out. The same goes for a hyperactive mind. So you go somewhere busy where there's lots of different sounds like a town centre, mall, maybe a river if there's a lot of different birdsongs going on too. You focus your attention on one sound then quickly shift it to the next, then the next, so on and so on. For example, phone ringing over here, person walking past behind me, distant ambulance siren, there's a drink being poured. I can't remember how long he said to do it, I think it was 5-10 minutes but do whatever works for you. Hope your OCDs already been getting better but if not, I hope this helps!
@@eleruces7722 thank you for checking in :-*) no, it's been very difficult for me, even though i go to nature parks to be surrounded by nature... there has to be something that engages my mind, listening to music, a podcast, reading, etc. I don't know, but maybe meditation in voidness doesn't work all the time for all people! What is works best for me is engaging in something transcendent, like reading in philosophy, or world history, which transcends my mind beyond the everyday irritating details of life! What works for you?
Use this to control panic attacks works great

Best for Mindfulness Meditation. Awesome video!
Thank you so much, for uploading this!🙏
First time doing/hearing this and once step 3 began, I had to smile, several times, just like that. Thank you! (bookmarked and set to repeat)
I just tried it and my mind feels so calm. It's amazing
Great to see a guided meditation without the pointless distracting music. Thankyou
this three minute meditation is the key to mindfulness for me. Very popular with my clients of reflexology and hypno birthing.
