It will be interesting to see how many turn up tomorrow at 20.30 in the Wetherspoon's Playhouse Theatre pub on St Johns Street in Colchester. It could turnout to be an expensive evening Charlie.
I’m learning at Leeds to become a brickie and I see that you just put the cement from the board onto your course of brick and at college they teach us to cut etc so do I not technically have to do that
@@CharlieCollison i'm assuming cos of copyright? If so yeah fair enough mate, also Idk what vid it was but there was a great video of you showing Amy how to perp both sides of a brick, if you could do something like that possibly but obvs vary the difficulty of the tips I think would be great!
Amy is a excellent trowel I’m in my second year of my apprenticeship and she is already better than me 😂 a career in either bricklaying or construction management might suit her 👌
@@andygreenaway6459 woah calm down San, plenty of things to be worrying about than slagging a bloke earning a living, and his giving people chances on the trowel, I agree about having his young bird there, if they wasn't a couple I wouldn't mind, but she's 19 and I know that power trip will be there now n then from her until she matures up, so I couldn't have that myself, but u my friend are behaving like a melt, hating will only make him bigger
Looking at the cavity insulation it’s clear to see why rigid insulation boards should be used between block & brick .. bet a thermal camera would have a field day on those walls showing all the cold spots (( not ur fault CHA just piss poor design)
150mm fulfill rigid insulation is a pain in d ass to fit.have to go 2 in 2 out to get it in right,then your reaching out over all that to lay outside row again
@@ffleeney8507 yep I know the feeling and it's worse when a block is on the flat inside ,but I've used nothing else for the last 7 years and wouldn't used anything else ,once you solve the Dpc issues over windows it's great stuff when fitted the right way

Yeh im doing it in college and they tell us to cut, but all the bricklaying vids on youtube i have seen they just bang it straight on no cutting
