The Dingodile boss fight... it's my favorite boss fight in the franchise. The lighting, the music, the actual challenge it can present without being frustrating. It's probably why I use Dingodile in CTR to this day.
I'm a little bummed you didn't mention my favorite part of the game. During the final boss cutscenes during the transition to playing as Cortex, there is a moment where he visibly faces his fear and places an arm out in front of Nina to keep her back before fighting the twins himself. It was a great character moment for him.

I'd love it if they gave the N'sane/Reignited treatment to Wrath of Cortex and Twinsanity as a collection, call it like "Crash: The Lost Adventures" or something like that. Maybe even throw the first two GBA games in there as a bonus, I'd definitely buy that.
I'm well aware of it's flaws, but Twinsanity will always be my favourite game of the series, hell, of all time, I love it to bits The story, the character interactions, the characters themselves, the humour, the music, the gameplay, even the bugs, I love all of it.

Crash Twinsanity... Good times... I never knew it was rushed when I was a little boy I didn't even understood the story etc. I just played the game and it still was fun. It was the best game for me and if the game wasn't rushed... oh good I'm sure it would be the best game.
The change that makes you get fruits instantly when you destroy crates is so good that it actually bugs me when I play the remakes, having to go back to pick up fruits when you brake crates is such a momentum killer
It's so satisfying and annoys you less in gameplay when they just fly to you if you're near them, i only wish they did that for lives too. (Which i'm betting they would coz some are just impossible to get otherwise)

Twinsanity is, without a doubt, my FAVORITE Crash game ever. Yeah, I have no problems admitting how broken it is, but I love it solely because of the open world, gameplay styles, and humor. Also, funny story. That skunk at the beginning of the game? During one of my playthroughs, when you're supposed to spin him into the Nitro Crates? I actually missed and he landed between the crates without a single one going off. So I had to suicide to get him to respawn.
2:35 I actually remember a glitch to get that gem without having to do the puzzle, you stand on top of the force field containing the gem and just keep body slamming it till you get it. God bless this game's glitches.
Personally as a 2002 kid, this game used to be my favourite crash and the soundtrack alone gives me huuuuge nostalgia, looking back now I can see how it’s been rushed but I’ll always love this game and I think a remake similar to the n sane trilogy with polish and cut content included would be amazzzzzing :)

If I could choose one game to get a remake, this would probably be it. The music is such a memorable divergence from the norms, I really enjoyed the gameplay, and even over 10 years later, there are still moments I get stuck in my head in the best way possible.

To me, it's almost a no brainer to remake Twinsanity because open world games are where it's at right now, and Twinsanity had that vibe to it (even though it was still technically linear). If the devs added all of the scrapped content that Twinsanity previously envisioned, it's going to feel like a "New Crash Game" anyways.
This game is one of those that deserves a second shot to show how amazing it could have been, but will never get that chance. It's sad, this game remade today with dev time could be the best crash game yet.. Man if it ever happens tho, I'll buy 3 copies just to show appreciation

I remember getting so excited at that whole first boss fight as a kid, the roster of enemies showing up with the inclusion of CTR characters, then that mechabandicoot and the music. The part where the twins stole cortex’s brain and made him run around after it was one of the funniest things to me as a kid and is so nostalgic
Twinsanity was one of my favorite games as a kid. I decided to play it again 2 years ago and I completely forgot how buggy and hard it is. I still enjoyed it a lot though.
Shoutouts to the music that plays during the final boss, Evil Twins. It's my favorite song in this whole franchise. (Do yourself a favor and look up remixes of that song too, there's a lot of good ones.)
I love how when I was a kid and played this it was so hard and now i look back at it and for example the Tikimon boss is such an easy and primitive boss but as a kid I literally wasted 27 lives on that. But I still remember literally all the notes of the music and I love it.... Anyway great video👍
I'm happy the first review I've watched of Twinsanity was by a reviewer that enjoyed the game. I have nothing but fond memories of this game. The a capella music is so nostalgic and catchy, and most of the jokes between the characters landed for me which all together made this game one of my favorites from the series
Loved this game to death as I do with all the Crash games. This was the game that got me into the series and it was phenomenal! I agree it should get a remake with all of its content back in!
I remember playing this game almost everyday after school in an after school hours care waiting for my parents to finish work and pick me up playing with friends switching the controller to the other person after every death, made me realise that for specific self imposed challenges this is actually a great game, definitely brings back nostalgia

The gems unlock artworks. Back when I was a kid playing the dozens of times, I did love to collect the gems to unlock The artworks and try to draw then by myself. One of the bests parts of the game for me.

I love this game because it's very unique than the others. Edit: I know it had 500 bugs but the only ones that really effected my gameplay was when the volume glitched out and the screen broke. I had to restart the whole game. It obviously wasn't my disk or PS2 because they were both in good health.
see this might be a bit controversial to say but on a Technical level, I would say no. the amount of bugs, the amount of glitches, the lack of sound effects in cutscenes and the unfinished story I cant lie and call this a good game. but do I still like it? yes a lot. the gameplay was fun, some of the levels had some great level design, the bosses are great, presentation is solid for the most part and the soundtrack is godlike. I hope one day they will release crash twinsanity with all of its missing content and fix the bugs and glitches with it being in hd as well.

24:48 that moment had brought to me real nightmares when i was a kid. I had a nightmare where Evil crash was trying to cook me. This game was my & my siblings's best game out of the rest of other crash games. We even replayed it over & over; gathered gems, lives ( we even reached 99 multiple times ). There's some levels where we loved the music so mush ( mine was the Academy & nina level on roof top ). We were making jokes & rules like playing if someone died and wither we come across a risky live boxes we try to push each other to go & get it hoping they will die fast 😂 As for boss battles some of them were 50% to me since you need to be focus. In the end after getting all the gems you just get a Cutscene where someone talk to Cortex telling him to try to fall backward and crash will catch him but... Crash is crash. Tho what suprised me is that i saw few comics, arts.. Etc of the game & some of them i never came across in the game at all and thought " Oh, maybe there's going to be a new game of crash, am so happy ". Yeah, my hops were soo high.

I played this game a lot as a kid and one thing that stuck to me thru all these years is the songs, i still sing to them once and then. Great video! Also i liked that the video was 30 minutes!
As a person who grew up with the Crash games, my personal favorite game was Crash 2 simply that for me it felt more polished than the rest of the games, as for Twinsanity I absolutely loved it because it was so glitchy, the glitches made the game much more interesting, which could go for your favor, of course I would've loved to see a full release and since I studied game design myself I see why it was so hard back then to create a full game, at least now you can create bug fix updates on modern consoles, when back then you had to create a completely new CD for that shit, Twinsanity was a wonderful game but was a bit disappointing yet overall it did it's job at the time, I hope one day this game will be fully done, even tho I have so much doubt the devs will try to because they have to focus on a new game. Since all we see is remasters, the only remaster I consider interesting is if they create Crash Bash which would be fucking amazing to play, the original games remastered including CTR felt like a bit of boring to me, might be because I lost interest in the Crash franchise or might be something else but I would love to see a new game the continues the series or either a reboot, a lot of people will complain about the titans formula even tho you could see COTT hints from wrath of cortex, COTT was a refreshing idea to the series even tho not so many people liked it and wanted to stick to the collectathon in the older games, but then again everyone loves what they love and I respect that.
I really liked this game but I never finished it because of all the bugs. I remember that I lost all of my lifes because I kept falling through a platform at the N.Gin level, during the fight with N.Gin I managed to clip through the barrier twice and fall to my death, and when I finally got to the wallrus chase part I lost my last life during the first try and was put back at the start of the entire level. After that I was just done playing the game
The thing with the glitches is I were afflicted with most of them on my first playthrough. The glitches would eat up my lives to the point where I didn't want to explore because I didn't want to lose all my progress in the levels. The biggest issues I have all relate to how the game punishes the player for succumbing to its bugs. If you bug out and miss a gem on the snowboard levels, you have to reload that save and start the level over for another shot. If you game over or power off your console during a level, you lost all your progress for the level if you tried to save the game from the pause menu. If you touch the dead tiki boss, you died and had to fight it again. I can name many more glitches and issues that totally plagued my experience. It is a bad game. Great cosmetic design, but horrible mechanics
I loved this game! I hope they remake it with all the content that wasn't included in the final version. I think it was a cool evolution of the series, being able to explore areas to collect the crystals by solving puzzles is pretty good, and being rewarded with concept art was my favorite thing (I am an illustrator enthusiast, so getting these collectibles was a delight). And the music? OMG so amazing! I miss this game, i always found myself replaying it and it was never boring 😁

Helois Gevit polished or not doesn’t matter. The crash games that did get remastered are world class games, and that would sell more than a game that got mediocre ratings when it released. The only argument you could make is that a twinsanity remaster would have more room for improvement and could be vastly better than the original twinsanity. That doesn’t deserve a remake are we supposed to have remakes of mediocre games that all got held back by bugs and whatever? The slate of remasters in 10 years would be all the games that didn’t do well? No, if games are going to be remade in the future it’s going to be ones at the top that’s how it works

Me and my friend called this game "The bug of TwinSanity". We actively chased bugs in it. I found so many shortcuts that weren't supposed to exist due to bad collision mapping it's insane. This was my first crash game. And I love it very much. Bugs and all.

It's actually a horrible game, since it can softlock, and have gamebreaking glitches. But the jokes were very good, and the intention was good. Kind of like Spyro Enter the Dragonfly. They both had a lot of potential, but the publishers don't budge on deadlines.
I know the music has been praised enough but man it's incredible. They even put classic music on it, there's the well known flight of the bumblebee but also a fucking HEBRIDES OVERTURE acapella for the walrus part, which i just can't get enough of.
Cesar Caballero I def agree with you to some extent. For example, the comedy in the game can easily come across as forced, and the game itself can feel a bit repetitive, almost in the gameplay itself sort of in the same way Wrath of Cortex would feel repetitive.

You can actually jump around the side to avoid the nitros IIRC, so you killed both Crash and the skunk needlessly. You monster.

This game is one of those that deserves a second shot to show how amazing it could have been, but will never get that chance. It's sad, this game remade today with dev time could be the best crash game yet.. Man if it ever happens tho, I'll buy 3 copies just to show appreciation

I remember getting so excited at that whole first boss fight as a kid, the roster of enemies showing up with the inclusion of CTR characters, then that mechabandicoot and the music. The part where the twins stole cortex’s brain and made him run around after it was one of the funniest things to me as a kid and is so nostalgic
despite the glitches this game was still extremly well made and written a lot of effort and a huge improvement over wrath of cortex

Twinsanity was one of my favorite games as a kid. I decided to play it again 2 years ago and I completely forgot how buggy and hard it is. I still enjoyed it a lot though.

I love how when I was a kid and played this it was so hard and now i look back at it and for example the Tikimon boss is such an easy and primitive boss but as a kid I literally wasted 27 lives on that. But I still remember literally all the notes of the music and I love it.... Anyway great video👍
For me the hardest part was the last boss phase 2 where you play as cortex I never really finished past that since I sold my ps2

I'm happy the first review I've watched of Twinsanity was by a reviewer that enjoyed the game. I have nothing but fond memories of this game. The a capella music is so nostalgic and catchy, and most of the jokes between the characters landed for me which all together made this game one of my favorites from the series

Loved this game to death as I do with all the Crash games. This was the game that got me into the series and it was phenomenal! I agree it should get a remake with all of its content back in!
I remember playing this game almost everyday after school in an after school hours care waiting for my parents to finish work and pick me up playing with friends switching the controller to the other person after every death, made me realise that for specific self imposed challenges this is actually a great game, definitely brings back nostalgia

If a remake is made, they NEED to extend the game and give the gems a better use, but otherwise this game was amazing.
The gems unlock artworks. Back when I was a kid playing the dozens of times, I did love to collect the gems to unlock The artworks and try to draw then by myself. One of the bests parts of the game for me.

I love this game because it's very unique than the others.
Edit: I know it had 500 bugs but the only ones that really effected my gameplay was when the volume glitched out and the screen broke. I had to restart the whole game. It obviously wasn't my disk or PS2 because they were both in good health.
see this might be a bit controversial to say but on a Technical level, I would say no. the amount of bugs, the amount of glitches, the lack of sound effects in cutscenes and the unfinished story I cant lie and call this a good game. but do I still like it? yes a lot. the gameplay was fun, some of the levels had some great level design, the bosses are great, presentation is solid for the most part and the soundtrack is godlike. I hope one day they will release crash twinsanity with all of its missing content and fix the bugs and glitches with it being in hd as well.

Wow, this brought back memories that were buried DEEP in my mind. I totally forgot I played this on psp
24:48 that moment had brought to me real nightmares when i was a kid. I had a nightmare where Evil crash was trying to cook me.
This game was my & my siblings's best game out of the rest of other crash games. We even replayed it over & over; gathered gems, lives ( we even reached 99 multiple times ). There's some levels where we loved the music so mush ( mine was the Academy & nina level on roof top ). We were making jokes & rules like playing if someone died and wither we come across a risky live boxes we try to push each other to go & get it hoping they will die fast 😂
As for boss battles some of them were 50% to me since you need to be focus.
In the end after getting all the gems you just get a Cutscene where someone talk to Cortex telling him to try to fall backward and crash will catch him but... Crash is crash.
Tho what suprised me is that i saw few comics, arts.. Etc of the game & some of them i never came across in the game at all and thought " Oh, maybe there's going to be a new game of crash, am so happy ". Yeah, my hops were soo high.
As someone who never got past the rolling part at the start as a kid I have to thank you for this video. It made me want to play the game again and it showed me what kind of acid trip of a game I missed
This game oozes charisma I was so submersed in the way it played and loved the dynamic that crash and cortex had, yeah it's really broken but it's still pure gold and I wish this style would be given another chance

As a person who grew up with the Crash games, my personal favorite game was Crash 2 simply that for me it felt more polished than the rest of the games, as for Twinsanity I absolutely loved it because it was so glitchy, the glitches made the game much more interesting, which could go for your favor, of course I would've loved to see a full release and since I studied game design myself I see why it was so hard back then to create a full game, at least now you can create bug fix updates on modern consoles, when back then you had to create a completely new CD for that shit, Twinsanity was a wonderful game but was a bit disappointing yet overall it did it's job at the time, I hope one day this game will be fully done, even tho I have so much doubt the devs will try to because they have to focus on a new game.
Since all we see is remasters, the only remaster I consider interesting is if they create Crash Bash which would be fucking amazing to play, the original games remastered including CTR felt like a bit of boring to me, might be because I lost interest in the Crash franchise or might be something else but I would love to see a new game the continues the series or either a reboot, a lot of people will complain about the titans formula even tho you could see COTT hints from wrath of cortex, COTT was a refreshing idea to the series even tho not so many people liked it and wanted to stick to the collectathon in the older games, but then again everyone loves what they love and I respect that.

I really liked this game but I never finished it because of all the bugs. I remember that I lost all of my lifes because I kept falling through a platform at the N.Gin level, during the fight with N.Gin I managed to clip through the barrier twice and fall to my death, and when I finally got to the wallrus chase part I lost my last life during the first try and was put back at the start of the entire level. After that I was just done playing the game
Literally the best crash bandicoot game in terms of plot and story. The interaction between cortex and crash made it unique and enjoyable
I honestly don't remember this game being short, as I kid this game would have taken me days to finish
The thing with the glitches is I were afflicted with most of them on my first playthrough. The glitches would eat up my lives to the point where I didn't want to explore because I didn't want to lose all my progress in the levels.
The biggest issues I have all relate to how the game punishes the player for succumbing to its bugs. If you bug out and miss a gem on the snowboard levels, you have to reload that save and start the level over for another shot. If you game over or power off your console during a level, you lost all your progress for the level if you tried to save the game from the pause menu. If you touch the dead tiki boss, you died and had to fight it again. I can name many more glitches and issues that totally plagued my experience.

I loved this game! I hope they remake it with all the content that wasn't included in the final version. I think it was a cool evolution of the series, being able to explore areas to collect the crystals by solving puzzles is pretty good, and being rewarded with concept art was my favorite thing (I am an illustrator enthusiast, so getting these collectibles was a delight). And the music? OMG so amazing! I miss this game, i always found myself replaying it and it was never boring 😁
Out of all the Crash games including the original trilogy, this deserves a remake the most.

Helois Gevit polished or not doesn’t matter. The crash games that did get remastered are world class games, and that would sell more than a game that got mediocre ratings when it released. The only argument you could make is that a twinsanity remaster would have more room for improvement and could be vastly better than the original twinsanity. That doesn’t deserve a remake are we supposed to have remakes of mediocre games that all got held back by bugs and whatever? The slate of remasters in 10 years would be all the games that didn’t do well? No, if games are going to be remade in the future it’s going to be ones at the top that’s how it works

Me and my friend called this game "The bug of TwinSanity". We actively chased bugs in it. I found so many shortcuts that weren't supposed to exist due to bad collision mapping it's insane. This was my first crash game. And I love it very much. Bugs and all.

It's actually a horrible game, since it can softlock, and have gamebreaking glitches. But the jokes were very good, and the intention was good. Kind of like Spyro Enter the Dragonfly. They both had a lot of potential, but the publishers don't budge on deadlines.

Cesar Caballero I def agree with you to some extent. For example, the comedy in the game can easily come across as forced, and the game itself can feel a bit repetitive, almost in the gameplay itself sort of in the same way Wrath of Cortex would feel repetitive.
I start hate it because I think is a little overrated, music, graphic style, characters personality change totally, also people think is a good game only for their jokes,
