@@S1L3NTBUTCH3R my opinion: for a game that I’ve waited for over 7 years compared to a game with a person we saw for less than 78 hours I’d say that it’s kinda based on me and others buying the last of us exactly in the same day of the release (2013) June 14, and loving Joel. After waiting for 7 years I’d say that Joel’s was sad too, but I thought that Joel actually had more to lose than Arthur. I was happy for Arthur cuz he would not have to feel any more suffering and sorrow, yet Joel had Ellie, Tommy, and others. So Joel’s was actually sad.
For me it was really sad to see on what Dutch became, he tried to be a good man in a gang who wanted to rob the bad and give it to the poor, but like all in this life nothing ends like we want, this game, it's a real masterpiece, really
Luke The Legend if we do get another it’s more than likely another prequel. They keep mentioning how bad the blackwater heist was & named characters we never met. Also the ending of red dead one is pretty good on its own.
Did anyone catch Dutch going over the breaking point when Arthur admitted to him always being a real one? That’s was literally the moment the Dutch we see in RDR1 come out. Dutch witnessed a true brother die in cold blood on his hand along with a rat/informant SOB like Micah? It’s a fate worse than death. Insanity.
When Arthur was begging Dutch for them to go save Abagail, you can see in his eyes that he wasn't asking the gang leader he was begging in front of his father figure. This is when Arthur truly knew Dutch was gone.
4:51 This "Dutch" holds so much emotion, Arthur has been with him since a kid, This makes me feel like he is an afraid kid going to the person he addored the most...
And still to this day I bawl my eyes out! The vibe and the impact it makes is phenomenal it’s definitely going to be my favourite game for a long time.
Everyone talks about how sad Arthur and his horses death is but I always just thought about my 3 spare horses in the stables and at camp never seeing their master every again
Yeah like the horse you steal after returning from Guarma. Mf must be so confused. Gets stolen by a man who just got off a boat, looking like he’s been through hell and back, isn’t used at all for however long chapter 6 is (unless you do actually use the horse) and then sees said man get shot at by an army of officers.

I can definitely relate. It really feels like Arthur is your friend that you’ve grown to know through the hours of playing it. Everything that happens to him feels like it happens to a real friend.
I never asked for a character to wake up more desperately than I did arthur, I remember on my first playthrough my hands were trembling to a point where I couldn't hold the controller. This game is and always will be a timeless classic.
I feel like 3:43 is one of the saddest scenes because that's the point where Arthur finally realizes that Dutch is beyond any saving or salvation and that all of the years spent with him went down the toilet. He literally is below Dutch, desperatly begging him to not make this final horrible decision, and Dutch just shakes him off.
My sister who doesn't play games would sometimes watch as I played RDR2. She noticed something that never occurred to me. As Arthur's sickness progressed and as I made him a more honorable man, she said that during the mission where he confronts the miners to help the Downes kid that he looks really good, like a prince. When John ran away as Arthur held off the rest of the Pinkertons for him, I'm pretty sure John was crying like a child as he ran. Pretty much at the back of his mind he'd still want to let Arthur come and live, but he's got no choice. John knew Arthur cared much for him, his family and the rest of members of the gang who didn't side with Micah. Even when Dutch appeared while he was dying after being beaten by Micah, I could still see that Arthur still cared for Dutch
Arthur's death was already very sad but the song made it 10x worse for me. I was tearing up when he was dying but when the song started playing, I just cried. The song is now one of my favourites and I tear up every time i hear it
Arthur Morgan I was the “it’s just a character” person. Had the damn game spoiled a little while after I got it. Didn’t feel like playing it at that point. But once I did, I completely understood why people were so sad when Arthur died. My horse was a good horse

I think it's important to note that Arthur was haunted by the last exchange between him and the bereaved wife of the debted man. He was growing aware of the world around him and the corruption within the gang even before the stand off 💔

I feel like red dead redemption 3 should be set years before and you play as Arthur in the epilogue and you are still part of the gang but in the main game you are an unknown character And give some interesting conflict maybe there being a civil war in the gang

I just finished my second playthrough of RDR2 and until now ive avoided these videos cause i wanted to play it all again myself but now im done im watching all these videos.
At the end of the game when Arthur and John are riding together and their horses die and Arthur stops to thank his horse instead of running imediately, thats one of the things that makes the final mission so sad.
The last scene with the Nun: "I guess I´m.......i am afraid" said Morgan, with tears and sadness in his eyes. The nun goes on by saying "then take a gamble that love exists, and do a loving act". " I shall try" replied Arthur. Both beautiful and sad. In the end he tried. He really did.
Those last few missions are so tough mentally. You know what's gonna happen, and each mission you get closer to killing the guy basically, and it hurts, it's truly painful. I had to kill the legendary animals to just keep him alive a bit longer, but I knew I had to advance the story. The goodbyes he did with everybody, were the most painful because you know they won't see each other ever again. No game has made me feel like this before, playing the last few missions and tearing up the closer you get to the end. So hard, but such a great game, truly a masterpiece that makes you think about mortality yourself.
Rdr2 plays SOOOO much more like a classic, timeless movie as opposed to a video game. It’s hard to believe of all the games I’ve played, this is the only one which truly stirred my emotions and made me ponder life outside of video games.
RDR2 is by far the greatest game to ever be created. The story is magnificent. Graphics outstanding.....gameplay is detailed like no other. There is not a single flaw in the game

The only game that made my tough asz cry … I didn’t even want to continue playing when Author got sick. And the more you played the more he coughed . It was getting more worse by the day. Then he kept doing things to redeem his karma . Yea this game is beautiful
