- Welcome back to another exciting episode of Bilal and Shaeeda's vlog! You may recognize these two as the charismatic co-stars from hit TV shows like "90 Day Fiancé," "90 Day Fiancé: Happily Ever After?," and "90 Day Fiancé Pillow Talk." But today, we're inviting you to take a peek behind the cameras and into the personal world of Bilal and Shaeeda.
In this special episode, Shaeeda has a unique challenge in store for Bilal. She's about to take us all on a virtual trip to her homeland, Trinidad, and she's doing it with her words! No, they're not hopping on a plane, but Shaeeda is bringing Trinidad to Bilal through her rich Trinidadian culture and language.
The challenge is simple, yet hilarious: for the next 24 hours, Shaeeda will speak only Trinidadian to Bilal. She'll be sharing stories, experiences, and insights in her native tongue, and Bilal has to try and keep up! Can he decipher the Trinidadian dialect, or will he be left scratching his head? We're about to find out!
But the fun doesn't stop there. Shaeeda is not just sharing her language; she's also on a mission to teach Bilal some essential Trini words and phrases. From the colorful local slang to delicious food terminology, Shaeeda's crash course in Caribbean lingo is bound to be a memorable experience.
Will Bilal be able to grasp the nuances of Trini language and culture? Will he pick up the lingo quickly, or will he find himself lost in translation? You'll have to tune in to this vlog to discover how this language challenge unfolds!
As you join Bilal and Shaeeda on this adventure, you'll not only witness their genuine chemistry and love for each other but also gain a deeper appreciation for the diverse and vibrant culture of Trinidad. This vlog is a chance to see them as they are when the cameras aren't rolling, sharing laughter, bonding, and embracing new experiences together.
So, whether you're a long-time fan of this dynamic duo or just stumbling upon their vlog for the first time, you're in for a treat. Follow along as Bilal and Shaeeda explore Trinidad in a way you've never seen before, all while Shaeeda introduces Bilal (and you) to the beauty of her Caribbean heritage.
This vlog is not just entertainment; it's an opportunity to learn about different cultures, connect with an endearing couple, and have some good old-fashioned fun. Who knows, you might even pick up some Trini phrases of your own by the end of this episode!

If there's one woman that represents Trinidad and Tobago well, it's you. Apart from being beautiful, you're intelligent and carry yourself with so much class. 🇹🇹
Awww thank you for this ❤
@@bilalandshaeeda thank you for making us proud...Both of you!
Am a Trinidadian I and know I agree with you sis asalaam alaikum
What about the first people of Trinidad and Tobago the Caribs and the Araraks.
She is a beauty ❤❤❤
I am dominican and i had coworker from trinidad in 1994, the reason i remember him is because he was the coolest person, we all liked him because he was a mix of crazy, humble, funny and it was the first time i met a trinidadian. You never forget good people, when he got mad he would start talking with that accent 🤣
We’re the best ❤
You know somebody is mad when their original authentic accent comes out..the one they learnt to adjust so other people could understand them or the one that went a bit hidden because the person has been in a place long enough. As a Lucian in the US I know...
@@Chrissanthumum 🤣
As a language and linguistics major I just have to add, we do NOT speak “Broken English.” Trinidadian English Creole is an actual language. It has its own rules like any other language. It’s actually our native language.
As correct as that maybe, ask any trini on the street they wud say "we speak broken english." lol But I get what your saying.
We do speak broken English doh
@@acecertified we don't. It's literally it's own language.
@@iwantmmore bro what we speak English no other language it's just broken😂
@@stefancharles4830 I have met VERY VERY VERY FEW Trinis who have EVER said the speak broken English. This may have been "back in the day" but certainly not now.
Jahmerican here who dated a Trini and still considered a family member by them!!
They had me playing Mas for a decade all over! Great memories with awesome ppl.
They taught me how prepare so many delicious Trini dishes!!
And I love how Trini’s speak!! It’s like they’re singing!!
Blessings to all Trinidadians!!
Out of many we are truly One ppl.
As a Trini living in the US first the past 49 years this is hilarious. Left when I was 23 now 72 so quite a treat. Hush yuh mout na man.
I love this,we trini have our own beautiful language.❤🇹🇹One of a kind 😊
I am not a Trinidadian but Trinidad is truly a gorgeously beautiful country.
Im trinidadian❤
Tell them ❤hehe
Thank you 🤗
As a trini i luv the sea
Bilal nailed it when he said “I want to maco your phone to see if you are horning” 🤣🤣😜
😂😂😂😂😂
I glad to see allyuh still together after 90 fiance chuppidness and bacchanal. Blessings.🇹🇹🇹🇹🇹🇹🇹🇹🇹🇹
What I've learnt as a form sixth student, who does Communication Studies, Trinidadian English/Creole or any type of creole is NOT "broken english"
Precisely! Trinidad Creole is our native/country lanugage.
💯
Correct. No language is broken. Trinidadian English Creole is a language which is non- standard, and Trinidadian English is another language. It is standard.
It's not creole either. It is a dialect of English like any other dialect. Lingusitics degree here.
@@mevolutionarybylizI think it’s a dialect based on creole (meeting of English with African Indian Chinese languages expressions intonations etc ) …
I am crying with laughter because he is soo pure.😇 He's American to de bone 😂❤
Allyuh! First timer here. Allyuh nice! I is ah Trini! Big up allyuh whole self!
Dominicans say allyuh too! I am not one,but I have been around a few.
@@Chrissanthumum wow! Thanks for letting me know 😀
😂
Same here😂
I wouldn’t call Caribbean English ‘broken’ because it all has its own history and combinations of language influences ❤ It’s different types of English but not broken 🎉
This is the first time I see your video. I love the way you was teaching and explaining to your husband Trini language. Both of you are so cute together. Your husband is also a very calm man with lots of patience. Most men would of gotten fed up. I am also Trini, living in Montreal for the past 47yrs. I will look for your video again. Blessed night to you all.
The brother blow the horn and say "I just horn you 🤣" JONESSSS
As a trini I am so proud of you..representing us out there. Been following you from the beginning of 90 day fiance show
Hey I'm Jamaican and I love to hear Trinidadians speak - especially the women .
Many of your slangs are similar or same. I understand every word....
One love
Hi Michael Williams; I'm Michael Williams and is also from Jamaica, (I had the pleasure of meeting a friend of my uncle who's a Trinidadian and was fascinated with the way she speaks)
Michael where in Jamaica are you from?
@@michaelrwilliams5466and I love a Jamaican accent

Bilal is beyond lucky to have a grounded woman like you, beautiful, smart and a good woman .
Man I love this and I love you guys. 😊 just to answer Bilal question. When we say “you know” at the end of a sentence, it may be used as an attempt to create a sense of shared understanding….. like. “you get what I’m saying?” kinda thing… 😊
Exactly 😊😊😊❤
And don't forget the hands ! The waving hands emphasizes the words.
.
This is hilarious! Bilal's expressions to our slang is so funny. Yuh dotish awa lol lol and him trying to steups lol. Hope you get to come home for him to be fully immersed in our culture.
Sha, I see you are a true Trini today even your attire is matching your Trini flag 🇹🇹 ❤. Please don't kill Bilal with all your Caribbean accent! 😂😂
Glad you picked up on the Trini attire and bilal wore the white shirt. You’re the first to notice it 🇹🇹🇹🇹🇹🇹❤❤❤

@@soca_baptist7071
@@soca_baptist7071 what is the difference between bajan and Barbadian?
@toniahusbands7635 Majority even Bajans themselves call people from Barbados Bajan. Apparently Barbadian is also correct just not commonly used. I'm sure you know this, just wanted to elaborate for others who see the comment and wonder as well.
Thanks Shaeeda for making us proud ,my mother is a proud British - Trini
You’re welcome ❤
It is not broken English..it is just creole. Don’t let Dr. Mérle Hodge hear that.

Wonderful to see this side of Shaeeda. Love it Trinidad and Tobago 🇹🇹 in the house
I like that you acknowledged that in the US,they speak broken English too, because every English speaking country has an English dialect, EVERY ONE, often multiple versions.I am St. Lucian and we use dotish, doo doo darling and mamaguy too (same meanings).I won't watch video, but I bet there are other similarities.
Sweet tnt.🇹🇹🙏
shaeeda you are a Natural Gem. love ur videos guys. ❤🙏
Do Doo Darling and Horn as Bilal honks his horn was really funny. 😂😂😂
Wah yuh say de?
You two are my favourite 90 day fiancé couple. Glad to see your interactions

Many years ago around 2004 to 2006 i fell inlove with a Trini guy, he was a nurse, till today i still think of him, i pray he is alive and doing very well, amin...
I thoroughly enjoyed this video.
This video brought me back to my SOCA loving days! 🔴⚪⚫ I went to Tobago back in 2016, I wanted to move there. Beautiful island 🏝️. A lot of these mannerisms are the same with Black Americans or just blacks from the diaspora. Surprise Bilal wasn't more familiar with them.
Awww thank you for watching ❤
Oh my goodness this is so beautiful🥰💐. Gyear , drizzling, yuh forget owah???
He honked when you said horn lol 😂😂
He said I just horned you not knowing what it meant yet. lol
Bacchanal
Bilal: "It means you got to put your back into the nal"

@@bilalandshaeeda you're welcome
This is gonna be fun because I lived in Trinidad for 2 years and I had a lot of "eh" "what"? "say what"? 😂😂😂 Let's go watch ❤
I too lived there for 2yrs. Loved Carnival. I was called a DOOGLA . Meaning half Indian. But no beaches like Jamaica.
Hope you appreciated the many nuances of"eh eh" and "eh heh"😂😂😂
Let mi tell yuh it's so nice to see people from my country which makes me so proud
Love this video ❤❤❤
Wonderful. I recently moved to the US and where I am don't have much trinis so don't get to talk trini...love this
I just subscribed, watching from Canada 🇨🇦
Me too
My left ear enjoyed this👍🏽
You need to get the slang book "Cote ce Cote la", as a gift for him. Your mom can check the bookstores for it. You are so correct Americans speak a lot of broken English. I always say regardless of where we live they can never take the Trini 🇹🇹🇹🇹 out of us.
Thank you for this information
That's a CLASSIC 🇹🇹
Lmao 😂 this is making me laugh so much, love it 🩷
😂😂😂😂
I am a Trini living in Trinidad. And I am writing this in my dialect which I am proud off. One thin I doh like is when a Trini go to America and start talking like allyuh, but an American will never come to Trinidad and talk like we. And I fine Americans sound like they singing when they talking. Come to Tobago not Trinidad so much because at present we have to much crime. Tobago beautiful boy. Nice beaches, nice guest houses and Hotels. Come nah.
I just love the two of y’all 😂😂😂
Shaeeda, your red jacket is reminiscent of you being a female Muslim Michael Jackson’BEAT IT’🤣🤣💥💥
Hahahaha❤
I’m happy you guys are doing well ❤❤❤❤ keep it up 👍 beautiful couple ❤❤❤❤
Loved this vlog, shaeeda seems more relatable in this vlog today. I think it's the TRINI speaking and normalcy on a whole. Didn't give rehearsed . Keep it up guys. Sending love from Trinidad 🇹🇹
Thank you ❤
Shi you love comess.😂😂😂 Big up your country ,good luck Bilal Shi is your cup of tea

Seen First 12 minutes so far, haven't seen you two since 90 Days. Happy to see you both didn't heed the advice of the single minded people and navigated yourselves to knowing each other better. I sense markedly improved of him to understand her more and smile and she is also. It's about Progress little bit at a time. Nice. Want you both to be Happy.
Yup on the Trini slang
