Thank u I'm glad u found my video. Many blessings 🙏 I honestly not sure if u can replace the ball joint by themselves. They are pretty cheap if u buy the whole control arm. And save you time and money.
They can in fact be replaced. Takes way more time
@@godspeedelijah Considering my TL is 20+ years old, I think I should probably just go ahead and replace the control arms along with the ball joints.

Good video, but your giving me anxiety the way you tap on the tips of bolts.
Edit: does it matter the angle on the control arm i put it at the same angle it was at for the most part

Hey, my acura tl 2013 car is in body shop right now. And they have ordered NAPA front lower control arm instead of OEM. Do you know which is better ? I might have to pay the difference out of pocket.

Do you really need to remove the strut or can you reach those bolts with a wrench ?
You'll need to loosen the top strut bolts and the bottom bolt that goes thru the lower control arm, and move it to where you can slide the bolts thru the spring. If you don't, the spring will be in the way and you won't be able to get those bolts out. Also, with the strut loose, you can move the strut side to side to where you can fit a normal wrench on the upper control arm bolts.
I tried, on one side it worked but on the other, the spring was in the way so I had no choice but to move the strut. It's annoying but not the end of the world

I checked with my local O'Reilly store, it was $61 deposit for rent.
I am not sure which brand i should get for the parts.
did you change with the OEM Honda parts?
or you have any suggestion on brands?

I thought Acura TL should have upgraded suspension parts. Looks like it’s exactly the same as Accord!
Yes they are the same! Sometimes thet may add something different.

Keizor Soze Common signs include a vibrating steering wheel, steering pulling to the left or right, and clunking noises.

Hey, No need to remove it.. it just gives u more space.

Adrian all car's are different, But I did a lil research for you and it does look alike mind.. You should be able to do it. very easy just take your time. Any other questions just hit me up.. Happy Sunday

Hello Keizor, for an 08 Acura tl might be a lil different but I looked it up for you and I noticed that your upper control arm is not that much of a different.. So it is almost Identical. Good lucky bud Let know if u have other question Ill do my best to help you out..
