Everyone complains about the kx not making enough power. 98% of you will not use anywhere near the power of any 450. Keefer even detunes his yz450. If you want more power on the kx get a pipe or ECU. These bikes ride like a 350 which is awesome. If you want to make it feel like a monster throw a few parts on.
Idea of easy to ride 450 is more and more in line with my future, dirt bike needs. Last weekend I've rode Gas Gas 450 and was suprised how mellow it was. I really like this new Kawasaki and would consider it for next bike (if money will allow). Only this durability thing but going through comments - weekend warriors don't wear out this bike so fast as MXA's Wrecking Crew. For next bike I would think about new KX 450, Austrian 350 ooooor Beta RX 450 as I'm a Euro guy.
I’m not a pro rider by any means but I ride fairly hard but smart. My 23 has a 100 hours on it with everything original except for the chain and air filter. I wash my bike after every ride and it looks almost as good as it did the day I brought it home. I don’t know why these guys have so many parts failing and or need replaced. My plastic is in perfect shape with only a few minor scratches.
I saw what guys were doing to their 2024s. Its made perfect sense why they were having issues lol. Cutting up air boxes and hacking up mufflers. Completely disassembling them and throwing every aftermarket part at them.
Two improvements to be made. Magneto that has a puller designed into it like a sram bicycle crank (strengthen the crank at that point as well), And a steel protective sleeve that protects cases from damage when the bike throws a rod. Also wonder about 3D printed case halves out of titanium. (Bought an old bike to repair and ran into these issues).
Hi guys, thanks for your opinion but for the first time I wasn't happy with your test...not being so powerful for a 450 I see it as a quality and not a flaw, for an amateur rider it's probably the best bike he can buy and have fun without your body being massacred by the power of a 450... greetings from Spain
I was thinkin of tryin to get a 25 for my next Kawi, haven’t bought one since 11. You know I’ve been watching you guys since the beginning, but I have to say Although I understand and Respect your opinions about 96% of what u guys call flaws Most of the time is Void when ppl Modify their bikes. I’ve had most brands on here and By Far strongest ones were Kawi/Suzki with Yamaha close behind them and I’ve had multiple different versions and types, quads as well!! That’s just my 2cents tho, Good info and vids, I Still Respect that 👍💯
95% of the riders only use about 30% of the engine... soooo. That said, weight reduction would benefit everyone! Maybe less emphasis on the throttle, and more emphasis on weight reduction. Target 210lbs!
I got one. I really like the bike. Pulled the airbox plug but the bottom is still a little soft. Plenty of power mid and up. It’s really a good bike in my opinion.
So maybe see some bigger changes in 2026 with the engine or is that not gonna change since it being the slowest and heaviest is kind of a large downside.
I like the green bikes but if I was on the way to the dealership I think I would go for the Yamaha this time been so much rave about em Having to spend a extra 2000 after paying for the bike is terrible for the P.C PIPE AND IGNITION

Aren’t you the guy that ran out of gas at the D14 harescramble?

Yeah its like when they said the crf was too stiff and it turns out they made new one stiffer😂
I love my Husky 350. Enough power to be fun and not too much to have those oh shit moments.

I’m a pro rider, and I’ve had great luck with my 23 kx450. Little worn out now but not bad at 80 hours
Our test riders weren't given the name the "The Wrecking Crew" for no reason 😂
I concur

I think people are complaining about the flat torque curve, 57 HP is good!!

Crazy to think that the 2019 model is still the best one yet

lol they use way more than 30%.. 🤦♂️
Imma get one soon 😩
I like your analogy
Gotta weigh getting a ‘24 at a significant discount and modding at this point. Huge rebates and tons of stock out there

What's a new clutch cost?
Test the 250 please!
We’re excited for it! Sounds like won’t be able to get it for another two months though
Mxa: every clutch is junk and add a tooth to the rear sprocket.
When is the 2025 kx250 video coming out??
Crank or rear wheel hp?
Lmao I gave 84 hours total on my 2020 kx450 never changed any clutch parts at all..

Always been a honda guy and then Yamaha then probably suzuki love the yellow and the price. The kawi looks good tho.
Tell these dudes to get off the clutch if bro can only get one hour out of it lol

2025 and we still have to buy aftermarket pipes and electronics?
Not very encouraging if you’re thinking about buying Kawasaki.

No excuse for the massive weight gain in this class.
They need to do a revamp on that gigantic silencer. Looks like it belongs on a Kenworth Semi.

23 KX450 value 📈
I always loved the green bikes but the durability is no where near the Honda Yamaha or euro bikes
You are right. I came off a 23 KX450 to a 24 KTM450. The fit and finish are nowhere near the euros or Honda or Yamaha
Neither is the price

U guys should test the ktm husky gas gas and Yamaha 2 strokes all
Them first the do the boring gay 4 strokes
You're absolutely right!!, they find and look for things to complain about I really 🤔💬 think they are gay!!
The only thing gay here is you.
KX's are two strokes, im old school, this bike should have a different name
Moore Patricia Martinez Eric Walker James
Clark Carol Garcia Deborah Martin Cynthia
Wilson Scott Lewis Helen Thompson Jason
It has 58 hp
so its still shit
Soft valves get ur wallet out.
sounds like this bike is a big pile of crap , thanks guys!
Think we should just go electric and eliminate the whole engine has better low end or this motor revs to the stratosphere?
Then everyone would be sitting in their azz in the pits waiting to charge off generators
