You need to pay domain renewal fee after one year to keep your domain name active. If your domain name remain active then only you will be able to use your email address.
If you don't renew the domain you wont be able to send emails from an email that contains that domain address. Someone else could buy the domain if they wanted to.

This didn't work for me. I can't get to my dashboard. Once i paid and made an account i was automatically directed to a page about building a website. I don't have the same options you have on your screen, i was really hoping this would be a simple as it is in the video but it's not. I don't even see an option to go to my dashboard.

The 5 free email accounts are no longer available. When I click Email & Office, it prompts me to pay another $15. Did something change?
You need to click on "advanced" in the left sidebar, then email accounts. there you can create for free. they just moved it.
