Thanks bro! Your simplicity is unmatched. Just wondering if there are any inherent SEO challenges to aware of for websites built this way. (I'm building my own website for a production agency having been disappointed by a service provider I hired for my first website).
SEO is a big topic and there’s a few things you can do to improve your ranking on search engines. Some basic things you can do with these platforms, building links, having relevant and meaningful content (text and images), in some cases even adding alternate text to your images. But for the best control over your website (and SEO) having access to the HTML code helps a lot. BTW thanks for the kind words

That depends on what kind of work you do. if you want to show some kind of pictures or videos, then Carrd has cool templates specifically built for that. I'd probably stick with Carrd or Canva. But if you want to show your coding skills then I'd go with either a customized wordpress template or GitHub pages with a website built from scratch... hope that helps ;)

J.P. Thank you for your work, tutorials. I Have A Question. Do you know a CMS that works without a database? Such a flat CMS. Easy and fast to use. To create fast, lightweight static pages, business cards, landing pages and mini blogs.
Something as intuitive as a text editor. Good day.
I think it depends on how comfortable you’re with coding (using HTML and CSS). Most of the examples in the video don’t require coding skills. But if you’re comfortable with HTML and CSS I think coding your own website and hosting it on GitHub pages or Netlify is the simplest way to launch your website, specially Netlify.
If you’re not comfortable with coding, I really liked Canva. But there’s others I didn’t mention like Ghost.
I’d say that all CMS probably use some sort of database (to manage the content). And WordPress makes it really easy if you plan to write a lot (a loooot) of blog posts. If you’re thinking about writing a few posts, then just create each post as a new page on whatever platform you choose and have some navigation menu where you add links to each post as you create them

If you’re planning on having an e-commerce website. I think your best option is Shopify. It’s easy to integrate with payment providers and there are themes available to customize your online store. Keep in mind that for e-commerce you have to pay when you receive payments

I have one question. If we use these online website builders, then in the end do only we have full control over our website or some of it can still be controlled by these builders? Also if you make a website through coding then do you have complete control over the website??
what do you mean by "control over your website"? If they can change it?
even when u hire a developer who builds evrything fro scartch they can still send codes to server nd change functionality so its more of ethical etiquette and conscience

I find this video very useful. I happen to come across this video because my Facebook page happen to ask me to create a website but I don't even know how to do it or even the money to pay to have a domain for my page. Anyway, do you think I can create a website for my Facebook writing page through CANVA by just using my cellphone? Because I honestly don't own a loptop at the moment. I think you might be able to do it, Canva has a mobile app or simply go to the Canva website from your phone. The only think I'd say is, it might be very hard to see and control because the size of the screen. So maybe try something simple

@@lizzy4530 that's too bad.. I think you're going to have to contact Canva. I just checked on my account and the button is still there, the only thing I had to do was login to my account. I can see the button on my paid account and on a free account. The only way it doesn't show up is when I'm not logged in

yes, I think you can create websites with Canva for free, you don't need to pay. But the premium version will let you choose more templates and more assets (like images and graphics). Not sure if you can sell those websites to others, because they will only be available (hosted) on your Canva account. It would be better to write to them directly and ask them about that

I think everyone will want, but such video never tell of life crisis or situation and the belief of computers dont exist is weird, or a different belief is holding the way it is used?

How does canva domain name ends ?
it ends with "my.canva.site" so if you pick a url like kekebaz it would be "kekebaz.my.canva.site" but you can purchase a custom domain and it'd be whatever you want

At the time of recording, all of these had free tiers. In fact, the footage and screen recordings is from the free versions. They do offer paid versions and I explained the difference between the free and paid versions in the video

You need to be more clear of the name “Carrd” the tragic ther from those watching will never get it. My hearing is fine but no one will realize it’s carrd with 2 rs but…. You really should spell it out in the cider.
