Batman v. Superman was actually...long diatribe about how a shitty movie by a director who understands Superman about as well as Frank Miller understands Wonder Woman is actually brilliant, and how people who like Superman in the comics just don't understand Snyder's shitty vision.
You have to give Dom Delouise credit for doing his best in every role he was given. I'd say he's the best actor here, along with the lion and the elephant.

It was a classic here in Israel, it was adapted to a popular TV series in the 1990s and then got a revival in 2009 that lasted three seasons. Kofiko’s cousin Chipopo got his own book series as well, but it focused more on his works as a detective travelling the world and helping children in need. This movie came on tv once when I was a kid and, no joke, I cried my eyes out when they were going to leave Bonzo in Africa. I still kinda teared up watching it now... Thank you, Menahem Golan.

Yikes... that thing looks like Chaka from Land of the Lost had a child with that creepy bird creature from The Neverending Story 2, Nimbly. Imagining Clyde the orangutan riding a horse, flying through the air, laughing and.... talking... isn't much better though. Least Clyde had the sense to turn the thing down (poor Dom...).

Loving all the Golan-Globus stuff lately. I just saw Roar recently and I hope you do that one soon, as it's perhaps the most insane film I've ever seen.
lol, I vaguely remember seeing this as a kid. The only scene I could recall though is when the monkey rescues the kid from scorpions. I guess the rest of the flick was so traumatic that it became a repressed memory. That voice and suit are pretty damn terrifying.
The one bright point that I can give this movie is that they at least didn't get an actual chimpanzee or something to play the role of Bonzo. I have zero doubts that the animal would have been abused or mistreated somehow given how little faith I have left in humanity.
It took until the end of the review, but seeing the monkey jump from the dock to the ship reminded me that I did, in fact, see this movie when I was a kid. One of the few movies that Snob has done that I have seen, even if I didn't remember it.
