Hey guys, it's been a while since I've published a video here. Thank you so much for your unconditional support. I'm doing great, things weren't always great for the past months, but I guess this very common for artists like me. When society treats your people like sh*t it shakes your peace. But thank god I find a good balance. Recently I got super busy because we welcomed a little baby, baby b...

Sensor???
Love her energy! I’m sure it made the shoot even cooler.
What happened with the shadows on that first set of shots? Was that processed this way on purpose or did something go wrong with it?
i used this kit..my film came out blank..theres no number, the starting leader isnt black its just blank ..please help me ..i invested a lot in the kit and now i have no motivation because i dont know what went wrong..!!!!
I like too see real photographers talking about gear. There are too many "experts" that don't use the equipment. Interesting to see the work flow too.
you ig not opening, can you share?
Super good review, I just got it and I already love it. I agree with you, this should not be considered a beginner camera. My question is: Is it normal that the LCD screen doesn’t turn off when the camera is switched off? The shutter don’t fire and the light meter led inside the view finder are off, but the LCD is on and you can even change modes and stuff. This happens also when the camera is loaded with film. Thank you in advance for your answer!
The B&W images were amazing! Great images of a beautiful young lady!
with the Pentax 67, there is also the issue of that mirror slap.Using my go-to Gold 200, I frequently shoot wide-open at 1/30 handheld. I don't think I can do this with the 67 (to be fair, I haven't tried it).
Picked up a 645N with 55mm A, 75mm FA, and 120mm A macro last year. It had a broken plunger mechanism on the shutter speed control dial, so I 3D printed a replacement. Love this camera. I have since added the 45-85mm FA for fun. I wouldn't mind a 35mm, and one of the telephotos in the future, but for now, it's fantastic.
commentery minus music is good
This further solidifies my theory that ektar is the best film for darker skin people, thank you for existing!🎉
That's what I want something for a simple guy I am amateur photographer
Amazing portraits , you really opened my mind with this ektar 100 for portraits
Love the last photo
oi! It's time. Time to pick a camera back up and compose your art again. Not for projects, or money. Miss you and worry about you. Thanks for your hard work.
I prefer push +2 on Fuji 400H pro. Shoot the film ISO100,
If you say +2 it usually means that you underexpose a film by 2 stops and then push it in developing.
Great results!
Thanks for this video, was really helpful. Couldn’t decide but the 645 seems a little more versatile
Yes manual focus lenses are made of glass and métal précisions tools not like the FA that’s the main reason I keep my pentax 645 +A55 f2,8 + A135LS for high speed synchro. Thanks for your clear advices to the newbies
Très beau travail !
Excellent set 📸
I used a Mamiya RB 67 & later a Mamiya 645 in studio. Strobes only. Pentax had no 645 nor were there any LED light sources. Looked warm and worked well. I also had a set of “mobile” lights. Never had a problem.
I’m 75 years old. I’ve used film since 1967. Digital since I retired. Mostly portrait some school work. Commercial work once in a while. I’d love using Pentax cameras and Olympus (35 mm of course, but now digital)You are quite wise and do beautifully made images!
Lens are interchangeable?
Yes
Nice view into the town of Meaux and its people, which so far I only knew as the origin of great Brie cheeses. Thanks mate.
200! its very expensive now
Saw yet another guy drinking tea/coffee...closed this video..ehhh
Awesome shots
Gorgeous results
Very inspiring, you make the 645 so much fun
Love the 1st gen 645, I’ve had mine since 1991. Still performs like a champ right along with my 1981 Nikon F3 too.
The Nikon F-3 did not exist in 1971.
Typo, meant 1981
Mamiya C330 tlr ftw!
Medium format is better than 35mm ..two each have their own opinion..
Thank you
Hallo! super interesting video! May I ask what lens did you use for this shooting?
Chris you’re really good. I hope you comeback soon man.
This was posted 3 years ago so you might not see this comment, but I'd be so grateful for info about shooting the flash. How do you know that you have to put it in the x mode? Thank you!!!
Nice!
ektar’s film stock is a hidden gem for ethnic skin. it’s probably why it gets the most hate.. great portraitures man!
It depends on the camera. Bronica S2 has 1/40s.
Bro! What shutter speed do you recommend to shoot film in studio with? I recently shot ISO 100 film with my Pentax 645 at 1/125 shutter speed (with profoto lights) but I got the black bars on my images once developed. Am I shooting too slow, too fast? If anyone can help LMK!
That camera had a max sync speed of 1/60 sec unless you get the 75mm or 135mm leaf shutter lenses for that camera. Then i think you’re good to 1/500s.
I tried to find you on Instagram and your website, but neither of them work. Can you update if you're still taking photos please?
The sample images were cut off. Perhaps put your instagram profile in the notes too?
Whar lens are you shooting on?
Love these colours/tones and depth. wow!! What lens did you shoot these on?
Great video. Thank you.
