So, I'm about 20 squares in and I'm finding that it's in the working of this simple, but elegant, pattern that your genius is revealed. I've been crocheting off and on for over 30 years and your techniques are giving me new skills that I will use again and again, especially with the seamless join. As a retired teacher, I so appreciate your clear and entertaining tutorials. Thanks, again. 8:00 for anyone confused: in this row and all following rows, the corner SCs are NO LONGER being worked into the SAME STITCH. You work one SC into the stitch she specifies, chain 2 and then SC into the back loop of THE NEXT stitch. I was very confused why my square was warping and my count was too high, so if you’re noticing the same thing, this is the reason! Happy crocheting!

I really wanted to give mosaic crochet a try. I tried the purse and the havanna tutorials and loved them. So then figured I'd try HOPE but I struggled so much with the written pattern and the video I just gave up. Then I found Terrazzo. I've only watched half the video and I'm finding this so much easier to follow. I feel confident picking up my hook and trying it. My hope is renewed in learning this new technique. Thank you!

Alicia Liu I’m using KAUNI. And then actually cheated a bit in the end adding some plotulopi when I didn’t like where the fade was going 😉 ah yes. And I’m using 2 different but both gradient colors. You can achieve this look with whichever slow changing gradient yarn!
Have only been 'seriously' crocheting for about 10 months. Many many scarves last winter, and right now I'm working on ruana pattern that I am altering to make into a kimono / cardigan. I have seen the terrazzo tile squares before, and marveled at how beautiful they are ... while thinking "I'll never be able to do that". But after watching your video, and listening to your instructions ... wellllll, maybe I'm not ready RIGHT NOW to try this, but I am much more confident that I will be able to do it when I get around to it! I’m very sorry, it’s a learning a curve studying how to make these tutorials... and so when I made this one I didn’t now better. I’m so sorry ... maybe try and watch it on a bigger screen? it really isn´t hard at all! ... but if you´re going for you first mosaic crochet piece i recomend starting with my Havana Afghan (which is a perfect beginners project) and then going on to terrazzo! ... although either way is just fine with me! lol :) stay safe during the storm! xoxox
It’s funny because I bought a pattern that was a Native American design but I never did the pattern because there wasn’t any TH-cam video on it and I found it really hard to understand the pattern. I’ve owned it for over 4 -5 years but so wanted to do it, then I saw your designs and tutorials and you made it look so easy. I’ve started it already and found it so easy watching your channel. Hi Tinna, I was trying to follow your motif in the round, I could hear what you're saying but I couldn't see clearly enough exactly where you put your hook, the visual was not close enough for me.
I’m very sorry, it’s a learning a curve studying how to make these tutorials... and so when I made this one I didn’t now better. I’m so sorry ... maybe try and watch it on a bigger screen? Only 3 stitches: slip stitch, single crochet, double crochet. Very simple. You can do it!

it really isn´t hard at all! ... but if you´re going for you first mosaic crochet piece i recomend starting with my Havana Afghan (which is a perfect beginners project) and then going on to terrazzo! ... although either way is just fine with me! lol :) stay safe during the storm! xoxox

It’s funny because I bought a pattern that was a Native American design but I never did the pattern because there wasn’t any TH-cam video on it and I found it really hard to understand the pattern. I’ve owned it for over 4 -5 years but so wanted to do it, then I saw your designs and tutorials and you made it look so easy. I’ve started it already and found it so easy watching your channel.
