This is the first tutorial video I have ever watched fully through and hooked along with-- I have been crocheting for 32 years and I always use a written pattern as videos are tedious and I don't learn well from them. This one, however, was so smooth and to the point. Beautiful square, absolutely lovely pattern! I made mine in coral pink & sage green on cotton for a trivet. I love your style of endearing your student and including us in all the finer details as you go. I did choose a slower playback speed because there is so much technique involved and I watched it in slower speed before picking up my yarn and hook. My grandma would be so proud of me. If she were here, she would be keeping her hands busy and her heart pure in spite of the circumstances. One of her sayings I remember, is that the best thing we can do is to stay busy. Then, 40 years later I rescued my husbands grandmothers collection of crochet hooks. They were being put in a give away pile. I just could not let them go, and I renewed my passion for the craft and began again. Each project I do I think of both of them.

I love your inspiration movement . I picked up a crochet needle 7 years ago and couldn't do anything more than and a rectangle and a continued circle that had no purpose. 4 years ago I tried again and accomplished a scarf and thanks to you tube 2 years ago I was able to do many beautiful things. I keep myself busy and feel rewarded in everything I accomplish in making. Crochet has really revived itself and yours is the second time I've seen people apply it like art for people to see in public palaces. I love your style of endearing your student and including us in all the finer details as you go. I did choose a slower playback speed because there is so much technique involved and I watched it in slower speed before picking up my yarn and hook. My grandma would be so proud of me. If she were here, she would be keeping her hands busy and her heart pure in spite of the circumstances. One of her sayings I remember, is that the best thing we can do is to stay busy. I will enjoy producing this mosaic. Thank you .

Then, 40 years later I rescued my husbands grandmothers collection of crochet hooks. They were being put in a give away pile. I just could not let them go, and I renewed my passion for the craft and began again. Each project I do I think of both of them.

I love your inspiration movement . I picked up a crochet needle 7 years ago and couldn't do anything more than and a rectangle and a continued circle that had no purpose. 4 years ago I tried again and accomplished a scarf and thanks to you tube 2 years ago I was able to do many beautiful things. I keep myself busy and feel rewarded in everything I accomplish in making. Crochet has really revived itself and yours is the second time I've seen people apply it like art for people to see in public palaces. @Georgia Fleury if you are left handed and you want to make a right handed video project just turn you phone or tablet up side down but you have to shut the rotate off first!!
