Absolute BEST color change method for mosaic in the round! Following your instructions exactly leaves no visible join on the front of the work…. MAGIC!!! Thank you for an outstanding pattern & tutorial! 😊♥️
Thank you for giving us the pattern for free and making this very helpful video! I've crocheted for 30 years but just learned overlay mosaic a few months ago. I've made 3 successful throws and I'm finishing up my 4th. Needless, to say this beautiful in the round throw will be my next project! It will be my 1st time trying overlay mosaic crochet in the round and with this helpful video, I'm sure I can do it! ❤
Appreciate a lot! ❤️ You are very kind!
Thank you so much for doing a video tutorial!!! Such a beautiful pattern, thank you for your generosity ❤
I looked at this cross-eyed for a minute but after watching a couple of times and looking at the pattern, I think I'll be able to do it. Ty!
You could try! It's really easy! ❤️❤️❤️
Thanks for this. A retired pro dyer/weaver here getting back into textiles on a smaller scale. I started as a spinner many years ago (with own sheep)and did do some crocheting and knitting with my own yarns but haven't touched it for years. I gave my big batch of knitting gear to friend and decided to try crochet but likely wouldn't have continued but overlay mosaic and Tunisian hooked me. I noticed your email about the small center out squares and decided this was a technique I needed to learn--and though I bought those, this works as a great demo for me (I tend to do a lot of samples while I learn basics and more). I had to go through portions of video several times until I got the FLDC on sides of corners correct--and your suggestion to use markers was what helped---and now don't need them. And--you are right, its fun and very addictive LOL.
Appreciate a little your warm feedback! Happy it was helpful! ❤️
Thank you for sharing this pattern. So far I have made three lap blankets. The first one I made was using leftover yarns in multiple colours(B) with light grey(A). 😂Second one was just red(B) and navy(A). Third blanket I used neon yellow, neon green and bright blue with black for colour A. This one looks like a stained glass window. Wish I could show a picture because it is quite beautiful. I’m totally hooked on mosaic crocheting like so many others. It has brought new life to the art of crocheting.
My pleasure! Happy you enjoy it!
Mosaic crochet in the round really intimates me, but your tutorial is so helpful. I think I’ll give it a try
I will be happy if it helps! ❤️
I bought this pattern cause I loved it. And once I got thru the first 21 rounds I saw the pattern developing for the repeat. I printed the graph and use it now just for reference. Thank you for the tutorial.
Happy yo hear that! Thank you! ❤️

I have crocheted since a young girl but am just now learning about mosaic.
This pattern is very beautiful and interesting.
Also I think your nails look beautiful and I don’t find them distracting.
You are very kind and understanding! I really do appreciate it a lot! ❤️
Thank you for an excellent tutorial, I am going to try your pattern at some point. I've just got into mosaic crochet and I love the fact you carry your colours up the work, so no multiple ends to hide. Your English is excellent, so thanks again.
I loved this tutorial, it was so helpful! I just learned about mosaic crocheting like 3 days ago, and I’m so excited to try all these different approaches!! Looking forward to using this pattern to try overlay mosaic crocheting in the round. Thank you so so much for the pattern and this tutorial! Also, I love your nails. 🩵

My pleasure! Happy you find it useful! ❤️
Thank you for this tutorial. I plan to make this blanket for my granddaughter. Your patterns are excellent. I've made two Blooming Stars and two Cozy Mosaic Cuddles. The results are just beautiful. Plus, your nails always look amazingly beautiful.
So nice of you to share this wonderful pattern. Thank you so much. I've tried mosaic crochet before but for small items. This is tempting me to create a blanket. The video is so helpful 💜
My pleasure! Enjoy creating your beauty! ❤️
¡Qué bonito el motivo de este mosaico en circular! Gracias por la explicación tan detallada y por compartir con nosotras el patrón. #Argentina

Thank you very much! That's my created idea, and many use it ❤️❤️❤️

Thank you so much for this tutorial and pattern.
My pleasure! ❤️
A great tutorial to dive in to this method! I’ve never done mosaic in the round and now I feel confident to make your pattern.
Next step: design my own. Any tips?
What a beautiful blanket.. oh cool... its free.. thankyou very much...definitely going to do this...wish me luck lol
Enjoy it! ❤️❤️❤️
This is BEAUTIFUL!! I will try this for sure. Thank you so much. I went to your website to see what you have, and you have a God gifted eye for color combo.
Appreciate a lot! ❤️
Thanks so much for sharing. I always appreciate written patterns, since I have never learned working from a diagram/chart! The video is absolutely a huge help as well!! I will have to put a stitch marker in the chain as you have suggested, and I can see that I would get used to the placement as I get used to it - but until that time - a stitch marker will certainly help a lot! Thanks so much. I'm bookmarking this pattern for future use. Again - Thanks very much! 😊
My pleasure! ❤️
Love the pattern... and your nail art! Thank you for sharing :)
I love this pattern; thank you for sharing it. I can't wait to get started !

Glad it was helpful!
Wow1 I thought that would be really hard. Thank you for a great tutorial.
Love this by the way. Just downloaded it. I have so many projects in motion but I really want to try this.
Thank you so very much! ❤️
por favor hay parte 2? la verdad es una obra de arte, per usted habla mucho y lo que necesitamos es el paso a paso. HAY POSIBILIDAD DE PONER SUBTITULOS EN ESPAÑOL?
Thank You so much for sharing your lovely pattern with us. Is there anyway to create a larger piece, if so can you please do a pattern for it. Thanks in advance either way!
Appreciate a lot. The pattern includes instructions on how to make it larger. It can be any size square. Here it is the link www.ravelry.com/patterns/library/mosaics
Is it just an optical illusion once the squares become larger, or does your yarn magically pool to each square size?
Muy dificil para mi.👉😌.es muy bello trabajo.👏❤️👍🙋
I wish you would show more rows thank you
Do you still have questions regarding the technique? The purpose of the video is not to demonstrate the entire pattern, but to explain how overlay mosaic crochet in the round from center out works.
I'm having a hard time with the repeat do you only do the rea square help
Yeah, exactly, the most difficult part how to go to another square she leaves for us to break the head of. Useless tutorial. I could start it myself no problem. How to continue is the question. From me - 👎
She explains the repeat from 6:50-8:25. It’s also included in the written pattern.

This is very beautiful and I got to row 8, but I am stuck on row 9...I would love some help with this one row because I think I could get it after that....

Thank you very much! I am happy to hear that! Yes, Wheel of Alpaca is great for this pattern!
Thanks!
I know this is an old video, but i just wanted to ask if this pattern is available in regular overlay mosaic (back and forth)? Its a beautiful pattern! Thank you!😊

Appreciate a lot! My pleasure!
Hello Beba, this is very beautyfull! US IT possible to get the sheet with the pattern for this blanket?
Sincerely Eva
Очень симпатично! Молодец!
Dear Beba, your first round is wrong. On pattern there are not back loops single crochets. In fact, there are simply single crochets. On the pattern, you can see that the single crochets are crossed out. Thank you very very much for this pattern. It is so beautiful 😍
Please could you explain to me
These are single crochet. I just re-watched that part of the video - I did say single crochet into magic ring.
@@BebaBlanket Dear Beba, I'm sorry, but you're absolutely right. I actually thought there was a problem in round 2.The centre looks strange to me like this.Thank you so much for this pattern, I really love it.And sorry again for my mistake.
Stunning!
Hola una pregunta el mosaico se puede hacer en punto alto..::gracias...
Interesting. With that size yarn, how long did it take you to make the blanket?
Thank you. About 1 week
Realmente es .un muy bello!!!!NESECITO EN ESPAÑOL POR Favor 🙏!!!!!
There is a written guide and the pattern in Spanish on Ravelry. Have you seen it?
I love it! My next project to learn
Happy to hear that! Thank you so much!
Thank you
Love this pattern thank you. I’m not understanding why the pattern says front loop for the corners. Which is correct?
Thank you so much! All corner sc are worked in back loop of corner ch1. I just looked through the written pattern, I couldn't find anywhere saying front loop single crochet.
@@BebaBlanket It is in the english version of the pattern. I just downloaded the pattern from ravelry and it says to do front loop sc in the corners (flsc)
@@karenilariart omg!!! So sorry! And how did we miss that?! Just corrected the English version. If you want to have an updated version, just delete the pattern from your library and download again. Unfortunately there is no possibility to send the pattern update for free patterns

I am a bit stuck. I did rounds 1-22 and now I'm supposed to start repeating 9-22 "working the underlined part an additional 2 times" I understand why row 9 has no underlined part, because it's all single crochets, but row 10 has some double crochets, and no underlined part... so I'm not sure what I'm supposed to repeat the addition 2 times on that row. ALL of it? including the dc's?
Replied to you on Ravelry 🥰
Charts are confusing, would you do a video showing the rounds that you explained on the chart, please?
You might want to read the basics that are included. I added the link into the description box.
@@BebaBlanket after I repeat 9-22 the second time and want to do another repeat do I repeat the bold box 4 times instead of 3? I’m wanting to make this blanket at least 40 inches by 40 inches. Thank you.
@@vicki0002 when you repeat Rs 9-22 for the first time you will have 3 repeats in red border, next time - 5, next -7 ... every time 2 more.
Thank you!
Great video - thank you 💜
My pleasure! ❤️
Amazing thanks a lot 🎉❤
Thank you very much ❣️
My pleasure! ❤️
Luv this...thx❣️
Merhaba bu ornek bir harika.Biraz daha kapsamlı anlatsaniz daha iyi olurdu.Dilinizi anlamadığım için elinize bakarak öebilirim ancak.
I’m so confused with the pattern I feel like it’s missing information. I’ve done mosaic before and the pattern is written really weird like for example “ch1 (does not count as a st),
[corner: (1sc, ch1, 1sc) into bl of the corner ch1,
1dc into fl of corner ch1 2Rs below*, 3sc, 1dc into fl of corner ch1 2Rs below] x 4, invisible join into the top of the 1st st, change to color B with a tight ch1.” It doesn’t tell you to do the chains on all corners. It also doesn’t tell you to do the dc to make the v it goes make dc and 3 sc and tells you to repeat that 3 times.
I would prefer if everything was written out like for example 3 sc, dc, sc ch1 sc,dc ,3 sc. I am not saying this is the pattern but this is much easier
Anyways i understand the chart so I’ll be using that but I would have preferred to use the word chart so I could cross off where I was and I usually do word charts instead of picture charts. But good job on the chart I will be making this
THANK YOU😻😻😻🎈🎈🎈🧸🧸🧸👍👍👍
2 or 3 more rounds (for you, that's not SO much) would help a lot many persons.
Just 2 or 3 more rows. ...
OK, your video is finished, completed but maybe could you just make an other video showing just a few more rows of the beginning.
That really would make an important difference - A GREAT HELP - for a lot of us instead of "only the top level crocheters" profiting of that beautiful mosaic work.
Sometimes, just a little help ... helps ! ❤
Thank you for the feedback. I will keep it in mind ❤️❤️❤️
How often should we change color?
Every round is worked in opposite color
