Salute to your mother my friend, now that's gangster. I see the idiots commenting but take it from someone who has been through the system and made bad decisions I'm jealous of the fact either you listen to the one that would have held you down for 20 years if that happened or she was strong enough to get through to you that that life is bullshit! Like I said if you got even 5 years the only people at the end will be you real family mum dad brothers sisters or a woman that loves you!!! The homeboys won't send you a penny and will probably try and take your girl!!!

My grandma also raised me including 13 other siblings and we could never do no wrong in her eyes. No matter the bs we got into or did man. That's one of the worst feelings having a household or roof over your head ,but not feeling like it's a home..having no one to run to or go to. The lack of love, support, family, traumas,or not having no one to count on really does a number on you man when your young. It's also still a hard process learning to let go of grudges and trauma. I'm glad homie finally changed his life style and found that love and family support from his wife and kids. Homies unidos is a great resource out there in Cali that helps alot its a great program.

I was 13 when I started gangbanging. I was kicked out of my home as a youngster. Had no love, support, drug addict, robbing stores, committing assault and battery. Was homeless for a couple of months. You grow stronger and wiser, but also have choices to make and quick. Now I look at like this, "You can always switch your life around as long as your making the right decisions in life" don't blame others instead change was stopping you from accomplishing the things you want in life...

Sometimes we do tho man and we don't even realize it. It's just one of those parts of the human condition. Like being human - it just comes with it. Maybe not the approval but definitely the sense of belonging and worth and needing that from your parents even if on a subconscious level. Like the first 5 years of a babies life are really formative and crucial. When they don't get those connections it has consequences later on even if we don't really see it.

Well spoken, and you express your feelings into words so well, very intelligent man. I'm so happy to hear you have turned your life around, Glory be to God, who always gives us second and third and fourth chances, etc. Prayers going up for all facing struggles to come out victorious in our Lord and savior Jesus Christ's mighty name I pray. Love yall, do better for you, jeep your heads up, life is a teacher and every moment a lesson that will eventually help us grow, and believe it ir not, as much as failure hurts, it also has a purpose to strengthen you, that's when your forced to think about things and where growing begins. All Glory be to God who saved me like he did this young brother. Thank you Jesus, I Love you God, I Love you brothers and sisters, look out fir yourselves and your family's , stay prayed up, stay bibled up, God is the Best friend to have in times of trouble, thise who have called on him know what I mean. JESUS IS LORD ✌🏽🙏🏽❤️
