- The Order in Sakamoto Days features some of the verse's strongest characters, with fan favorites including the likes of Nagumo, Takamura and Shishiba. With each character possessing unique fighting styles and abilities, I figured it'd be interesting to rank all 10 confirmed Order members from weakest to strongest, taking into account their statements, abilities, and showings throughout the manga.

The fight against that karma guy in the flashback he got bloodlusted and one shot him, he was relative to him before. When he first met x and x mentioned his daughter he caught up with him, x was blizing him before. (This was in fat mode too)
This is not prime and none bloodlusted Sakamoto vs a always bloodlusted Takamura. Ps the statement in the original Japanese said strongest not greatest.

100% especially after the recent chapter. I still think that Nagumo and Sakamoto are better assassins who probably could take him out if it’s a planned out mission but in a straight up fight nobody is beating Takamura

Takamura is a beast 💀 bro this man is the reason they even made sakamoto days for those who don't know. It was because the one shot Sensei did gain some recognition that's why he decided to make sakamoto days and I see why Takamura is that Guy.

@@thomasthetrain8961 the new chapter I brought yes in Japan was more crazy 😭😭 this man cut his hand mid fight and reattached it then proceeds to kill of that dude with the circle on his face and he finally spoke for the first time saying "The weak should die" "does who don't obey the rule show jot exist". Uzuki, Gaku and The circle dude could not even jump this man 😭😭. Remember when he first encountered Gaku and cut off his arm and the deer dude told Gaku he should thank whoever cut the arm because it's so clean one could reattach it together? That's basically what this old man just did 💀

The thing about hyo is that he might even be around 5th-6th if we wasnt "weak" in the sense that hes too much of a hero for an assasin. He spends the fight trying to protect civillians and also protecting the sniper guy(i forgot his name) and taking blows basically for free because of his caring nature.

And yeah, I agree, I feel like Hyo Can be very good against some person and at a huge disadvantage against other, mainly the huge range or Speedster character. And he still has a very good shot at beating every other order member (except Sakamoto and takamura) if he Land two or three clean hit on them

Though the shishiba placement stung a little, I think this list is pretty solid tbh. Love all the angles you took to an analyze each member for their placement. I’d be curious to see an updated list once the series is over because I have a feeling Osaragi might surprise us all considering Shishiba talks so highly of her.

while i dont think he speed blizted sakamoto because its shown sakamoto dodging at the last second which is more of a saka feat when you consider that this is a weakened version from prime and he was caught off guard. but kanaguri is underrated

I would personally swap Osaragi and Yotsumura's placements just based on the sheer difference in experience between them, also if we're including prime yotsumura its implied that he's onpar with Kindaka based on the chairmans statement.
Shishiba is actually underrated I mean he defeat an ex order member and he was fighting 2v1 vs kumamoni and the sport guy and done some damage
An excellent list. More people need to read Sakamoto Days, but that won't happen unless an anime is announced. People here are still too hyped on Demon Slayer and JJK to even notice or care. Hopefully this will change in the future.
They need to get a good studio, we dont want what happened to aot, tokyo ghoul, berserk and seven deadly sins.
Great list. The only character that I think could have maybe been higher is Osaragi after seeing what she did to carolina reaper, but to be fair it was a sneak. And yeah, takamuras feats while fighting three top tiers was absolutely insane, makes me wonder how things are gonna go after chapter 167. If you know, you now.
I hope when animated that they do these scenes justice. Fog hill of the five elements show me the best hand to hand combat I’ve seen in my life
Old man Takamura is like an unstoppable force, in a world without immovable object, everytime he appears, literally nothing can stop him. I feel like the only thing can kill him now is his age, the latest chapter a bunch of most powerful people going all out against him and the man basically: You think I'm seline?

I am here two weeks later to confirm that in today's chapter, chapter 167, Takamura just low diffed both Sakamoto and Nagumo. To the point of actually scaring them.

Nagumo's motif is a stage magician.
as an osaragi glazer, the comment about kanaguri is literally the only thing I disagree with. Chapter 164 paired with this weeks chapter completely confirms that Takomura (my goat) is unmatched.

My personal list
10/9: Kamihate and Hyo (Kamihate and Hyo can go either way with Kamihate's sniping skill and use of the environment as well as having the range advantage. However, Hyo can either dodge the bullets or push through and keep closing the distance since Hyo has a lot of endurance and willpower)
8: Osaragi (not many impressive feats)
7: Yotsumura (I placed him higher than Osaragi since he's a veteran order member while Osaragi is a rookie)
6:Shishiba (Defeated Yotsumura)
5/4: Kanaguri/Kindaka (Can go either way Kanaguri went toe-to-toe with Slim Sakamoto while Kindaka 3v1 Sakamoto, Rion and Nagumo who are 18/19 yrs old while holding back)
3:Nagumo
2:Sakamoto
1: Takamura
Top 3: Was easy the rest are hard to rank since they are either competitive or have different fighting styles/specialties
Yotsumura and Shishiba should be higher than Kanaguri

Rly good list, only thing I’d change is Shishiba over Kindaka since his feats are against teenage versions of the 3. They’ve gotten a lot stronger and I personally would put Shishi right below Nagumo. Prime Kindaka is a different story tho…
Makes you wonder where Gaku would fall in this list. I suppose just behind Nagumo, but we will see what happens between Gaku and Takamura.
My stupid fan theory is that Takamura is related to Gaku somehow. One of the X members said that kids in the orphanage were used in an attempt to artificially create order members. It would make sense that they use the DNA of the most dangerous man alive, Takamura, in an attempt to make that happen.
Gaku's hair would look like Takamura's at that age. I am probably wrong but I like to believe!

Essa foi a sua lista , eu concordo com quase todos ,as únicas coisa que eu trocaria seria osagiri por kanaguri acredito que no momento pelo que foi mostrado ele merece sim essa posição, mas acredito que no futuro isso pode mudar quando virmos osagiri a sério ou tendo uma luta contra alguém verdadeiramente forte,podendo ir até pro 5 ou 4 lugar justamente por ele ainda estar viva e podendo evoluir , e última posição que eu trocaria seria yotsumura com kindaka ou shishiba , osagiri e kanaguri eu colocaria ele na frente desses dois justamente por sua experiência de batalha como antigo número 2, junto com seus atributos físicos altos e yotsumura demostra usar mais o qi dele na batalha eu particularmente acharia mais difícil e chato enfrentar um yotsumura sério e lutando pra vencer do que esses dois ;-;, além de que a personalidade parece ser mais estável se comparado a esses dois kkkkk ,já o shishiba acredito que seria 5/5 ambos tem atributos equilibrados com shishiba superando levemente em qi e em velocidade ,mas acredito que em uma batalha ambos tem chances de ganhar equilibradas , já no lugar do kindaka seria justamente pela narrativa da obra em dois momentos ,um sendo supostamente necessário 3 membros da ordem pra lidar com yotsumura, muito provavelmente pra ter certeza que eles não perderiam , e a outra sendo justamente o fato do yotsumura estar disposto a lutar contra Nagumo e shishiba ao mesmo tempo, poxa se tem alguém que sabe o quão forte é o shishiba é o yotsumura que foi o mestre dele e que já lutou e fez a cicatriz nele já o Nagumo ele conviveu de certa forma, se quando osagiri chegou o cara meteu o pé ele pelo menos tinha confiança de poder escapar dos dois ou levar pelo menos 1 kkkkk acredito que vamos ver melhor a maioria dessa lista aqui podendo mudar no futuro mas no geral concordo com sua lista:)
The weapon of their choice indicates their behaviour/character.
Shisiba is a simple minded guy, the kind of assassin that just do what the order do, so his weapon is just as simple as hammer. Osaragi is also simple, but she's more than that. She's brutal, deadly, and gloom, so her weapon is a chainsaw. Nagumo is full of trick and deception, so his weapon of choice is just a huge swiss army knife. Sakamoto does not want to kill anymore, so he does not have a weapon.
Yotsumura is the only one I consider wasted potential in this manga. Great design and story. Great list. Old man Takamura might not be the best assassin but in a straight up fight he is undoubtedly number 1. The type of guy you throw into the battlefield and just unleash.
I mean, in general I agree. The only thing I would argue is kanaguri so high, kamihate so low and yotsumura so low. The other thing kamikada with shishiba, but I dont think IS nothing crazy. Good list in general 👌

I was genuinely confused when you put kanaguri at 6 since sakamoto got blitzed against him. But once I realized you were probably putting them in current strength then I agree current sakamoto is stronger than kanaguri. Rion literally says she chose Sakamoto cuz she thought he was still in his prime. Nagumi is stated multiple times to be stronger than Sakamoto in his current state.

Pls some one anwser why do he consider Slim Sakamoto = Prime Sakamoto, I think it's not good to rank him, at the moment after the chapter I would put him below Takamura but I would still had some doubts, since the current Sakamoto isn't as strong as he was and he has a vow to not kill, doesn't that make Sakamoto current below is prime?

And if I'm being honest I don't think Sakamoto should even be able to dodge Takamura attacks, since he is a lot weaker, or be able to keep up with Nagumo, like in 5 years he got a weaker and the gap between him and the others got smaller.

That’s an interesting take! I think Nagumo’s trickery might throw Kindaka off since he’s conscious of killing civilians, but I can see why you’d have Kindaka over Nagumo
I think Kindaka is weaker than current nagumo since Nagumo from before had WAY less experience than now
He fought agains 3 vs 1 and until Uzuki came and interfered, he was just playing them. Because, unlike our crew, he didn't try to kill them, but convince them to join order. And he did that with his old version. So, I think Kindaka deserves to be in top 3

In my point of view, Sakamoto might be stronger than Nagumo sometime in the future or the past but it would unlikely for that to happen now and Osagari is stronger if she have more showtime I guess. Takamura still the best Order despite his death lately but it is also proof that he could only be killed by himself.
I got Yotsumura > Kanaguri. He was considered the top assassin of his day and right hand man to the head of the JAA. Shishiba is just a beast

Hyo is way too low, shishiba is struggling against kumanomi and he can't break her steel while hyo can blow through it casually.
Shishiba blocked them, hyo took it to the face, both shishiba and hyo had marks on them but shishiba was blocking and never got higlt directly. Hyo blized kumanomi repeatedly (when he goes all out). Hyo deserves better.
Its hard to actual gauge how well Hyo would have done if he didn't have to keep protecting civilians and Heisuke but I think the narrative tries to show that he would have likely won its also difficult to gauge Shishiba since we didn't see most of the fight and he was in a 2 V 1 situation

Extremely Extreme Diff at the VERY least. Like if they were to have a hundred battles both in their primes, Takamura would win at the VERY least 80 of them. Hell Im leaning more towards 85 even.
Sakamoto said in chapter 164 that compared to when he himself was in the order (his prime), Takamura is still way stronger. Plus, I'm pretty sure that prime Sakamoto is only a slight stronger than he is now. It's not anything game-changing.
