The JLC Factory tour is...sublime. Those masterpieces [can’t just call them watches ~ sacrilege!!!] expose & Detail THE #1 Human ‘Gift’...Imagination. I could/WILL Watch (Pun?/!) this Video for many hours. You’ve ‘NAILED IT’ w/ your Swiss JLC Factory coverage - I know it took my breath away... Kudos!!
Brilliant video, a real pleasure to watch. This is the type of content rarely seen on TH-cam, and I cannot express how grateful I am for the opportunity to have a exclusive peek into JLC's factory. Congrats TGV!
I believe you have achieved a new level of excellence. The factory tour is fascinating. I love that they still make honey! Thank you for taking us along.
The fastest i have ever clinked onto a You Tube video, fantastic looking movements and craftsmanship, great video TGV i hope you shot a load of footage while in Switzerland, could have watched that one for two hours, as always you videos seem too short.
As a Czech, it made me kinda proud that you featured Vltava by Bedřich Smetana in the intro, although it would be more fitting for a video about the history of PRIM wathes (hint, hint).
Absolutely beautiful timepieces. The craftsmanship that goes into building these is quite mind boggling. The Tourbillion is unreal. Awesome learning video. Thanks for sharing your experience!
Thank you for exposing those of us that will never be able to own these fantastic watches to such wonderful pieces of mechanical art.We do not have to own art to appreciate it,I will never own a ferrari,or a Van Gogh; but that does not make them any less wonderfull to behold,or lesson the joy their very existence brings.
Dear Tristano! Smetana: Moldva is a beautiful music in your intro. I tried a few new, solid Jaeger Le Coultre watches on. J. L. C. is one of my favourite brand, planning purchase one timepiece in a few years. The visit and workshop and filming of the factory is just amazing and absolute pleasure to see all of that! Beautiful work! Thank you... oh, and guys, I'm really happy to read all of your comments! I am glad to see many watch enthusiast friends from all around the World! Best regards, Robert
TGV, Thank You so much for producing this video tour. Last night at dinner I decided to play it on our big screen while watching dinner and my wife and daughter were fascinated. It is seldom we can find anything to watch at dinner that we all like especially with the doom and gloom of the news and these tour programs are just the ticket. We will continue to watch them at dinner until there are no more to watch and will watch the next tour tonight! Also a huge shout out to the production quality, music and editing of these programs, they especially look and sound good on our 4k TV and soundbar with subwoofer, very professional. We look forward to seeing more and Thanks again. Joe / Northern Calfornia
My Jaeger le coultre was my father's. It has been maintained regularly & is now sixty years old. It is as fine a piece as the day it was ready. It's a simple elegant design; self winding in a rose gold case. I treasure it & a new one is beyond my finances.
Wow, I would just be giddy walking through there. I can definitely understand how it’d feel to see all that and just have a huge smile on my face Thanks for sharing TGV 👍🏻
It’s just marvelous ! I couldn’t choose appropriate words to appreciate such a care for their history and respect for the “Art of Watchmaking”. Also thank you for being such a gentleman and posting your own personal experience on TH-cam. I’m a big fan and a watch enthusiast, starting my collection with the Seiko Alpinist. You inspired me a lot in making this decision. Hope u continue to amaze us with ur great videos, I must say they’re a gift for Watch collectors.
Just come back from New York and was so impressed with the amount of Watch shops there! I constantly thought to my self ‘what would you think of this watch’ I was so tempted to get a citizen automatic from the shop in Times Square however its the one that got away! Thank you as always for giving me the bug of loving watches! Diolch my friend Tomos
Great video! Would like to add a few notes. The Tornos machines are Swiss lathes. Obviously, Swiss watch makers were the ones who invented them. They differentiate from traditional lathes due to the fact that the bars are fed in and out of a guide bushing and the tools are in front of the bushing. This allows you to do small delicate parts or long skinny shafts easier because the material is supported at the bushing which reduces deflection. With a traditional lathe, the stock is in a fixed position in a chuck and the tools move up and down the bar. So the entire part is sticking out which doesn’t work well with small or long parts. Also, the robot that was measuring the parts is called a CMM (Coordinate Measuring Machine). It uses a touch probe that has either a carbide or synthetic ruby ball on the tip. They’re accurate to microns. I also think I saw a OGP Smart Scope system. Which is made here in New York State. 👍🏻
My grail is the Atmos clock. The first time I saw one it was amazing especially being conceived so long ago before all the technology today. Thank you for the tour and your channel.
Woooooow TGV you are killing me man. I could not describe my emotions when i see those finished timepieces. I didn't know they are even exist , such a horology such a unique brand. If i was in your place, in the Jaeger-LeCoultre house, I couldn't be alive now. really thank you
Isse Al O Sorry, grammar nazi here, if you say "this" the proper word would be "here", not "there". You would say "there" if you said earlier, "that" For example: That is some quality stuff right there. This is some quality stuff right here. Sorry, I know, annoying grammar police. Heck, it could have just been a typo and I am making this comment for nothing.
Absolutely incredible, thank you for sharing. Truly astounding the level of craftsmanship that they are capable of. The intricacy, functionality, and beauty of their work really is mind blowing.
Hard to put into words what this videos captures. The attention to detail and real world 21st century craftsmanship is jaw dropping. The fact that this happens in this day and age of instant gratification and right now manufacturing truly does my heart good. The Rotating Tourbillions are nothing short of staggering. I knew they existed, but never gave them any attention due to the price and rarity, but I think I did myself a bit of an injustice. Knowing the effort that goes into these 2 year to produce products just makes me appreciate my little SARB and my Omega that much more. Very well made video, that had a sense of culture and mystique about it. Must have been a mecca of sorts for you Tristiano. Thanks for bringing us along.
Opening music: Bedřich Smetana - Má Vlast (Vltava/Die Moldau). I'm born in Prague and that music is very dear to me, always reminds me of home. Thank you for using it in your video :) And thank you for the video itself, really great to watch.
Best video you’ve ever done. I’d pay them to work in their polishing department! I’ve had on my shortlist of next watch purchase in a year or two the JLC Master Ultra Thin Moon in steel with silver dial. After seeing this, it’s now top of the list.
It was an absolute joy to go through this video! Thanks, TGV, for bring us this opportunity to learn more about JLC, especially bring us up close to those stunning tourbillons!
Incredible video my friend! The look on your face was priceless! I have a JLC Hometime Squadra, white dial, skeleton back! I Love my wrist art! I find it to be captivating to look at, dial side, and of course the movement. My favorite watch that I love to wear!!! Thank You! For this video, put a huge smile on my face!🙂🙂🙂
Absolutely fascinating. It gives a much more distinct appreciation for high end timepieces. The introduction was great. Your music choices are impeccable as always. Thank you so much for sharing this experience.
Didn't know one of the best watchmaker in the world get one of the essential material from Malaysia to produce their watches. I feel proud to be a Malaysian out of a sudden 😄
Tristano, you just amaze me! The fact that a lowly TH-camr is able to get access to such legendary watch manufacturers boggles my mind. The scenery is stunning! Looking forward to more videos!
pltorok0515 lowly? Nah, he’s worked hard to get his channel where it is and I’m very happy for him. He’s a respected member of our community who has opened doors for all of us as this film shows us. Bravo!
Dear Sir, it is a pleasure to see the joy and happiness this visit has brought you, your eyes’ expression gave it all away. It’s clear this is not a visit rather than a pilgrimage... I have really enjoyed your video, because of your passion, it is all the more interesting for the viewer. It makes me eager for what is to come next. Jaeger Lecoultre is a brand I also love a lot because of all the ingredients they do so well. Warm greetings from Belgium to you sir.
The Smetana you used in your intro today is one of my favorite pieces of classical music ever. I played it once, loved the rolling cello part, and have been hooked on it ever since. Great choice
If this is the first course, i can't wait to see more. The amount of time and craftsmanship that goes into some of those watches is just mind boggling.
The sheer level of engineering brilliance along with the stunning artistry demonstrated by JLC has me thoroughly blown away. I totally geeked out on all of it and now need to have a bit of a rest. Will likely watch it again later. It was that fascinating. Thanks so much TGV and team. Really enjoyed the first of your Swiss adventure offerings🙏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻. Btw, any of the JLC pieces you want to review is fine with me😊.
Really happy for you mate- been watching since 34000, every time I watch a video you have more subscribers! Glad to see that even the big brands have the vision to see the importance of your channel. Keep up the good work

Fascinating to get an insight into the manufacturing process of such beautiful timepieces! The gyro-Tourbillions are incredible! I look forward to seeing the upcoming videos from your trip. Cheers, James

Butteryfly glue? How interesting. I do recall seeing in an old watch magazine about the honey produced there. So cool that you got to do all this! So envious! Looking forward to more of these videos. CIao, John
Lovely, how exciting to do that, great tour and fantastic video Tristano! Should I say I’m not surprised that a brand like JLC’s factory is that classy and exquisite!? When I am back in Switzerland I will definitely be going to do that! Best, Matt H.
What an amazing visit you clearly had. Thank you so much for sharing your time there. One of my most cherished members of a modest collection has been a Master Control Mecaquartz Master Chrono. Yes..mecaquartz!! A uniqueness shared, I believe, with IWC. Wonderful to see it's birthplace!

What a great way to kick the Swiss video saga off Tristano. 22:02 - that Reverso stole the show for me. Timeless, elegant and perpetually classy. Finally, I am a happily married man but Sofie is the bomb!
TGV thanks for sharing this amazing tour me and my wife were in Genevieve 2 years ago wished I was into watch collection then because I would have loved to visit this factory and museum. Next time I will make it a must see on my tour. Keep up the excellent work.
I am amazed with this story, it has been worth waiting to see it finally. TGV You have great taste and talent to convey emotions that make me enjoy your passion. I imagine you as an advisor to a television series based on clashes and vicissitudes of watchmakers through history. You imagine? collaborate in a series of the BBC that portrays the world of horology through history.

An oldie, but a goodie! Great vid - that must have been a fantastic experience. Dude, those were treasures of horology! La Grande Maison, indeed.
Thank you for making this video
Mate you look like a kid in a sweet shop smiling ear to ear.
Easy to see you really enjoyed it.
Omg ... these watches are breathtaking ... thanks so much for sharing this experience!
The nerve of TH-cam to show me a Vincero ad before this work of art showing a plethora of works of art...
AdBlock, problem solved
Absolutely amazing to see the insides of such an amazing establishment.
No wonder is the Watch Makers !Watch Maker!!✅❤️👏

Such a mesmerising experience and your camera angles and lighting capture the beauty of such wearable art pieces.
TGV the way you described the beauty of JLC, you just inspired me to work harder and own a JLC myself! Lots of love from India!
WOW....!! what a privilege to be able to see this. Such a well made video. Thanks for sharing...👍
