We are a weird breed aren’t we, as watch collectors. I often spend a lot of time pondering the do’s and don’ts, and rights and wrongs, of what to buy and why, and what must go to make way. It’s sometimes, only when I watch your channel, and read the comments of other viewers that these do’s and don’ts in my head make sense. Agree with so many followers on Casios being an innocent indulgence. Going to slim down my collection a fair bit, but after a Squale 1521 for myself now ! Top Chanel Sir. Good work.
Forget watch stuff - you and Hugo need your own Netflix series!!! That intro was absolutely bonkers - I wanted to see episode 2 and continue binging the series! amazing work Tristano!
TGV, I loved this intro, your one if not the top independent YT watch content creators on here. Clearly the numbers speak for themselves when it comes to click bait etc regarding your vids, 560,000 subs, 105,000 views in 3 days, you have surpassed the BS, keep doing what you're doing, it's Bellissimo! Ciao for now ❤
I feel brand overlap can actually be a key part of building out a collection. I match my watches to my attire, my surroundings, my activities, and my mood. To the degree there is overlap in these things I have overlap in my watches. It is the overlap that can allow for just the right variation for the situation. So if a brand, a model, or a style is something you like I see no issue with owning variations of it. There is no other area of my life that I can be so free to change things up constantly.
Thank you for continuing to create creative, original content about watches. Your personal views, knowledge in horology, and vast interests shared from the inexpensive to the ultra luxury watch continue to pull in my and many other’s interest. It’s clear how passionate you are about what you do, and the time you put into your work.
This is my favorite channel for watches. Seiko, Casio, Tissot and Fossil makes up my collection. They are stylish and affordable and that’s why I have 30 watches combined. Mostly Seikos.
My 2 biggest weaknesses in collecting: 1) Buying a watch I won't like to wear just because it goes so well with one I already have, and, 2) Buying a watch because it's so cool or interesting even if it's one I'd never enjoy wearing.
The 2nd point is a good one. There are tons of beautiful watches out there that are not my style and would not get much wrist time, but in a way it would be nice to own them because of maybe what they represent or what brand they are etc. Collecting something for the sake of... collection? Just because you don't use it, doesn't mean you don't get any satisfaction from it.. or does it?
I think Casio watches should be in both your personal as well as your official watch collection. They have that unique ability to transcend any proposed boundaries. I always appreciate your relatable thoughts and experiences on your watch collecting journey. Very well done! 🥃
Perhaps a rule could be to allow watches that you would toss in a bin all together with zero protection as fair game. When you keep a Casio in its original packaging or a real pretty leather watch roll....it ain't THAT kind fo Casio to you, obviously... Also, anyway have any space leather watch rolls please? :-D
Casios don't count because they barely cost anything. Buy at will, though not sure why anyone would need more than one or two when it comes to G Shocks.
I appreciate your videos and the effort you put into them. I very much admire it. You are a true watch enthusiast! You tell the stories of watches in great depth and connect them to pop culture. You introduce us to brands and pieces no one else talks about. I get bored of the other watch channels claiming to be enthusiasts show the same watches and have no intersting stories. That is what gets the attention apparently. Its a tough space, but you are tougher! We appreciate you mate, God bless and take care.
Tris, forget about the youtube algorithm, it isn't life. You make the amazing content you do and people love you for it. I've started working for Breitling recently BECAUSE of your amazing passion and interest, thats what we want to see! All the best, Rob.
Looking forward to seeing the grail watch sir when you eventually get it. Don't worry too much about not having a massive collection, you make this channel, the watches just add to it 👍. Enjoy the weekend
Your strenght / integrity is that you only talk about watches that you have experimented or are experimenting. That is very good! When it is not about watches themselves, the content is a bit strange. Good continuation to you!
That intro was the most compelling bit of TH-cam footage I've ever seen. 😂 To see our beloved Hugo & TGV (the best dynamic duo since The Chuckle Brothers) out on the lash is an experience I'll treasure forever. You add both class and fun to watch content on TH-cam and are an absolute pillar of the community. Thanks for the entertainment Tristano.
Love the intro with the prodigy video clips! There is an ebo and flow with collecting. I'm starting to have the Casio problem myself 😂 Maybe see you at windup NYC?
Thank you T.G.V. YOU are a true watch fan and an orsome collector love all your work and you are keeping me sane at the moment as I am in hospital so many endless thanks for that! Been watching you since the early days! Love and respect David Porterxx
Wonderful video TVG, thank you kindly! For many years I was a one watch collection kind of guy. In recent years I've added a few more watches into my modest collection, and your insights and thoughtful videos have been instrumental in my learning and watch collecting experience. I genuinely thank you for that. My journey isn't without pitfalls though, and here are my two: i) thinking you "need" a certain type of watch (i.e. a diver, or a GADA, or a dress watch, or a luxury watch, etc), when what you really need is a watch that works with your lifestyle. And ii) not fully appreciating what you have - especially before parting with a timepiece.
I came off watches after the hype of the pandemic, it was too much, everyone and their dad was suddenly a gray market dealer and it pushed an unreal need for materialism. Videos like these are really good to bring you back down to earth, enjoy what you’ve got. Tbh TGV was a big purveyor of having big watch collections, this is a huge and welcomed shift.
Quite the achievement to throw shade at basically every watch youtuber in one video! Seemed like even Teddy getting a spray here!? (13:22) A lot of genuine enthusiasts put endless hours into their craft to entertain us. Sure, there's plenty of terrible operators out there, but the majority are good people that are a positive influence for our hobby.
I became a fan of watches years after I inherited by dad's Submariner. It seems to be a great universal watch that goes anywhere, so despite the hours I've spent discovering amazing watch designs and histories, I'm still just rocking this silver Rolex. Plus it has sentimental value. I sometimes tempt getting a second one to fill-in when the Rolex goes in for servicing. This idea motivates me to keep watching great UG content (and Nekkid Watchmaker).
I’m down to 3 watches. An Omega SMP, an Aqua Terra, and a G-Shock. I wear my SMP every single day. but I wear my Aqua Terra on occasion, and my G-Shock working out and house projects that could get paint on it. I strive to be a one watch guy, but this is the best I can do.
First, GREAT intro . . . looked to be a helluva night out on the town with Hugo! 🍻 Next, I personally have more than a few Casio ABC style wrist monsters (e.g. Protrek, Pathfinders, etc.) that I no longer wear, in addition to other Casio models, but I'm in no hurry to part ways with any of them because I enjoy having them. So as it relates to brand overlap, I say CARPE DIEM when it comes to affordable brands like Casio, Citizen, Seiko or Timex.
The watch brand that I developed a weakness for is Hamilton. They just have so many quirky pieces that make me existed. The one I now plan to get is the Ventura automatic ( will be my fifth hami ).
I own one Hamilton and three watches in total. I don't need/want anymore watches, but Hamilton keeps intriguing me. I love the fact that they're solid watches but don't have that luxury stigma attached.
@@jipkethey aren’t a luxury brand hence the lack of baggage. That doesn’t mean they don’t make a good watch. SWATCH Group is very strong and hammers it home if it those looking for an easy entry to Swiss mechanical watches. Hamiltonis good, but from the same group, there’s Longines, Mido, Tissot. Hamilton has a certain cache in the States, that’s partly due to its historical ties to Lancaster PA, those other three have sone watches that check similar boxes just as well. I digress. They are solid watches, yes they lack the stigma of other brands, however- who cares what other people think? In actuality, the vast majority of people aren’t looking at your watch and will be ambivalent. A truly fine watch can be absolutely spectacular. That doesn’t mean one need to aspire to own one, but they are worth appreciating for what they are.
Youve done more to inform my watch collecting journey, not just in categories of material but in the why of it all, than any other outside source. Its a bright spot for me when you release new content. And the Hugo vignettes; as one commenter put it, "bonkers", but so much fun. Viva la Hugo!
“I’m busy researching”. Just paused the video after that phrase because being busy researching is the most beautiful part of this journey. Zeuss bless this channel.
My bad habits are instead of saving to buy one big watch I just impulse buy 5 or more cheaper watches (almost all impulse buys) this tends to leave me still wanting the big watch but pushing the purchase back by months
Everyone starting out their journey should read this comment. It perfectly encapsulates the single biggest point of failure for most beginning collectors.
@@daniell2217 tell me about it. I’m 19 years in and still don’t have my dream watchs (rolex deepsea challenge and a 1960s sea master) because I decided to buy loads of other watches whilst some are still big boys in their own right. they aren’t the ones I want and lust over
Youre exactly right about the state of what used to be called watch collecting in the era of Social media! Its turning me away from what ive lived and breathed for over 50 years
You are not alone. Been at this for 40+ years. It’s the same issues w/ the car scene as well. People in it for all the wrong reasons and they drive up prices for the ones that live and breathe it.
TGV - On the note of creators staying relevant without a big collection, I'm left wondering why we need to stay relevant? Why do we feel this need to create channels that are popular forever? If massive television studios can at best make shows that are popular for a decade and then they fade away, why do we as individuals believe we can do better? As the platform we upload to changes and viewers tastes and interests change, we should expect that at some point we will fade into obscurity as well. It's inevitable really. The choice we get to make is how we will handle it though; will we handle it with grace and accept it, or will we resort to rampant clickbait that soils all the hard work we have done? As you point out, that's the beauty of making solo content that you are passionate about. You don't have to stress about paychecks for yourself and employees, and even when the views aren't there, you're still having fun because you enjoy the topic.. Sorry for the diatribe, but you raised a very interesting topic.
This is a really great point my friend. There's sooooooo much to talk about here. I think we should honestly just get on a zoom call one day and hash it out, one creator to another. For me its because when I started 10 years ago, there was VERY few people talking about watches on YT. Today, I can't keep up, its too much and there's people with massive channels I have never even heard of. Part of it is my responsibility to keep people informed as much as I can, without it becoming an arduous job. Another is because I care about watches, their future, the industries future and I want to grow it. But I feel, not everyone is in it for the good of the industry and enthusiast.. I guess this becomes more a discussion about moral and ethics in business, the nature of consumerism and the whole evolution of social media in how it relates to the watch world. I accept fading into obscurity, trust me, I have Marcus Aurelius on a custom made pendent on my chain everyday for a reason. A very interesting topic indeed, which you just took to another level! 😅😅😅🙏🙏 Grazie my friend. T.
One of thee best opening videos ever 😂😂😂 Hugo !!! My collection isn't large, but it's full of what reaches to my core. Casio Lineage, Casio g-shock, Citizen eco drive & the soon to be added Citizen automatic. Looking at case shapes & and sizes, my collection will look like 1950-1960. The days of chromed looking jets, cars with wings & that chequer pattern of the early days of the US space race. My collection is based off an undescribable feeling, difficult to translate in to words. It's a feeling & that's what drives me, that unknown something? That connection to a point in history? That feeling of warmth? That feeling of looking at your watch & making an unknown connection.
Hi TGV, no fear my friend. I would watch your channel if you only had a one watch collection. Always Quality, not Quantity. I think I speak for the OG. Best regards, John
Love your work, enthusiasm and knowledge of watches, along with the integrity you bring to your channel. I agree that Casio should be included in notable collecting, as they are watches for everyone and great day to day tools. Please keep up your good work. Jamie (Scotland)
I have recently sold all of my watches for a single watch (barring an inherited gold Accutron Astronaut, and the Seikonaut I was married in thanks to your channel). I am soon to be baptized and confirmed Catholic and needed to make way for the milestone piece. The Hamilton Khaki field I’ve had for the last year has made me realize I truly do not need more than 1 solid daily wearer. I haven’t worn much else. For my budget I have settled on the black dial black bay 41, a spiritual successor and more rugged watch to the explorer 1 which will continue to be out of my budget for some time I feel. I have come to understand that I can love and adore so many watches without owning them. What a sigh of relief that has been 😅
That is a very healthy way to be (our latter point) and I wish I had that level of discipline, I am getting there. Congrats on your baptism, I think you choice is absolutely spot on! I like how you describe it too. Thank you for sharing that. O&U! Best regards, TGV
Hi TGV, 안녕하세요 from Korea🇰🇷 loved your video and i just have to share my Casio story, like you said, blink and half a dozen Casios from thin air. I wached one of your videos about needing a house watch, to tell the time if you wake up in the middle of the night. Looking at my bright phone would wake me up, so as you noted, i bought W217H as the numbers were bigger than the F91W. Then saw Mad Watch Collector on his Casio collection and the Back to the Future Casio calculator watch, why not? Cheap and Fun! Then, I saw the Alien Ripley watch with the buttons on the front. So, bought my Back2Future a friend. Then, I remissed about my first G Shock I lost over 10 yeara ago(more on this below), so went out and got the GWM5601U, never needs a battery and set sets, what's not to love? Then saw your video on $250 Royal Oak, so this far down the rabbit hole, what not? Then, went through some old shoe boxes and low and behold i found my DW5600BB and still working! I bought that watch at a duty free because i did not want to wear my Datejust around the airport, but needed to tell time with all of my connections and not have pull out my phone. Wore it the entire trip, did not even wear my Datejust or Santos, sleek black case and negative dial went well business formal to cocktail casual. I must have dumped it in a shoe box when i unpacked after that trip. Anyways, Casio's do sneak up on you and come out of thin air. Thanks for reading, love your content ❤
You have nothing to prove to anybody and no matter the algoritms I am glad to have this channel with great content you produce. Keep on with excellent work, even if you need to reduce quantity
I was interested in hearing about you culling your collection, but I’ve not been able to do the same because I keep buying more watches from Moyer! Glad to see you giving them their deserved accolades since their service and friendliness have made me a loyal customer for over a decade. When you treat your clients as valuable, regardless of whether they spend $300 or $10,000, they are more apt to be repeat customers.
I was once a one watch guy until I found your channel 😂😂. I love all of my watches but I do get anxious sometimes about how many I have. I could probably sell some but it's such a pain. Anyway, speaking of algorithms, it seems like Jeff's channel disappeared from my usual suggestions...crazy. This was one of the best intros ever. Great video my friend! Cheers 🍻
Tristano, could you please give us the names of some of the watch blogs you like? Thank you. Creative, witty, humorous, and informative vid, as always.
Well, for a "watch talk" video this went a lot deeper than I expected : - Watch addiction. Aside from one club in Watchuseek, this subject is too often dodged - The independence of reviews, and their whereabouts. So, compliments for the video, sir. And may your grail quest take enough time to enlighten your path. 🙂👍
TGV, the opening sequence to this video is a masterpiece bro. If TH-cam gave Oscars to content providers, you should 100% receive one. Bravo 👏 smashed it again.
Letting go is very cathartic. I had a watch collection of roughly 24 watches at the beginning of 2023. Granted to amass a collection of 24 watches they weren’t all luxury watches but I had a few that weren’t cheap either. As of written this I now have dwindled it down to 8. I found that I could never possibly wear and enjoy all those watches, it’s impossible. And I want to wear my watches not just admire them from inside an automatic winder. I still plan on selling a few more, not because my love for watches has diminished, instead I’ve found a new appreciation for watches and for me that means a small curated collection of watches that make me happy, instead of impulsively buying simply because Hodinkee says I need another one in the collection. I’m glad I took the leap.
Never change TGV. I love your consistency of conviction in the watch world. You may have helped me from going over board in the watch collection. I wear my Seiko Arnie as my everyday, Gshock as my beater, Bulova as a dress watch, Arabic Casio for fun, and a cheap Garmin for running/lifting. I love your channel because you're not trying to convince me to buy something I don't need! I really love your videos about the history of watches, and hope you do more in the future! I have room for maybe one more watch. If I did, it would be something like a Tudor Black Bay, Rolex Submariner, or Omega Speedmaster. Something to pass down.
Dear Tristano, your ethical stance, fashion advice, and pedigree set you well apart from other watch TH-camrs. Your video on why you do not speak 'rp' addressed all doubts. Your sitting room reflects your passions for high horology, movies, and the military - and, of course, a sense for creative design. I always find your input about your personal life very interesting. Would you mind sharing more about your military career or education in Florence? Concerning the latter - which university did you attend and what degree did you study? Best wishes.
Thank you so much, it makes all the time and effort I put into this worth it. In terms of education, I'm and Art school in the UK kid, I then studied Neo-realist cinema in Florence and finally audio engineering in NYC. O&U! Best regards, TGV
I posit most fans are here for the person: TGV, as long as you continue to post about the topics you love, the right fans will listen and relate. Congrats on discovering your grail watch (my money’s on a tourbillon), and don’t count the Casios!
Great perspective TGV. You really managed to stay true to yourself from the very beginning. Looking forward to the downsizing. It is actually very satisfying when it gets down to three pieces;)
I picked up a BLNR on oyster back in late-May. It was a watch that I had my eyes on for a while and almost gave up on. In fact, when my AD reached out to me inform me it had arrived, I was in talks with 3-4 other private sellers for other Rolex sport models. Anyways, I have since sold ALL of my other watches that were in rotation and sold others in the months leading up to the purchase of my BLNR. I have no regrets and I've worn my BLNR everyday for the last 3 months.
HAHAHAAHHHAAAA... That intro must go into the TGV hall of fame! The club scene had me laughing like a lunatic... Excellent work as always and I'd really missed Hugo.
As far as Moyers, I'm working up to finally getting a Squale from them. Of course I can find one cheaper elsewhere, but they have displayed the best customer service of any AD in this area. And trust me, I've visited a number of AD's since your last visit!
TGV great content as usual. I have a watch collection that is in no way expensive but heart felt. It have a smattering of Casio and Sieko among others which I enjoy and wearing them produces a smile on MY dial. My grail is a SKX which I'll get one day but recently I bought a 1968 Timex Marlin which I think is stunningly cool and will wear to my neices wedding very soon. It is in no way an expensive watch but it has a look I adore. My first watch was a Bulova from my Father that has sadly been lost in a messy divorce and my next was a cheap Timex gold coloured watch which has also disappeared in the same way but I was taken with the Marlin as it evoked those two. I ramble but I truely enjoy your honest passion (and truely weird intros LOL) I wish you well and your continued success.
Two collecting weak points: 1) Wanting to collect too much of a kind (divers, dress) at the expense of getting other styles you also want or 2) buying doubles/triples of a model (one to rock, one to stock). You always move on to the next thing and ignore the one you stocked. Great video as always!
EXCELLENT comment, deffo guilty of these.
Thank you for sharing that. Hopefully if I get enough responses like this about collecting weak points, I might read them out like I did in this video for a future episode. It could be a fun one.

Collecting something for the sake of... collection? Just because you don't use it, doesn't mean you don't get any satisfaction from it.. or does it?
Typical collector issues.....the material world....i want it but really enjoying it is something totally different.....
What a surprise (and what an honor) to see my comment in the video !
Great video, as always.
Best regards,
Alex
Thanks for just being yourself and share and talk only about what you really like, and not only what is in hype.
We all love you for this ❤
I appreciate your videos and the effort you put into them.
Triciano- again a great vid, especially the beginning and for sure your personal thoughts. Get going 🚀
Hugo and TGV know how to have a good time. Best intros in all of TH-cam.
Tris, forget about the youtube algorithm, it isn't life. You make the amazing content you do and people love you for it. I've started working for Breitling recently BECAUSE of your amazing passion and interest, thats what we want to see! All the best, Rob.
Wow, thank you so much and congrats Robert! This was a great way to start my day. Onwards and ever upwards!

@@theurbangentry all the best to your family, Hugo included of course
Looking forward to seeing the grail watch sir when you eventually get it. Don't worry too much about not having a massive collection, you make this channel, the watches just add to it 👍. Enjoy the weekend
Thank you my friend, enjoy the rest of the weekend too. O&U! 😎🥂
Best regards,
TGV
Your strenght / integrity is that you only talk about watches that you have experimented or are experimenting. That is very good! When it is not about watches themselves, the content is a bit strange. Good continuation to you!
We value your informative and original videos. Keep going!
Incredible intro! I just got into watches and love this channel’s personality
That intro was the most compelling bit of TH-cam footage I've ever seen. 😂
To see our beloved Hugo & TGV (the best dynamic duo since The Chuckle Brothers) out on the lash is an experience I'll treasure forever. You add both class and fun to watch content on TH-cam and are an absolute pillar of the community. Thanks for the entertainment Tristano.
It’s past time for a buddy cop movie. Or at least an insurance commercial.
Love the intro with the prodigy video clips!
There is an ebo and flow with collecting. I'm starting to have the Casio problem myself 😂
Maybe see you at windup NYC?
Absolutely unlimited Casios! They’re affordable, practical, and a pleasure to wear. I consider collecting Casios a harmless indulgence.
ive bought 6 this month 😅
Its time people realize Rolex is soooo 1997...... You can not impress anyone any longer with a Rolex😂😂everyone has one 😂😂😂 wake up🎉
@@pleun315, everyone who?
Honestly. I wouldn’t want one. Swatch and Casio are too boring and childish. I want classic ones I can wear to work
@@01liol same! I currently have 2 in the mail arriving tomorrow and another 9 arriving in 8 days 😂
Thank you T.G.V. YOU are a true watch fan and an orsome collector love all your work and you are keeping me sane at the moment as I am in hospital so many endless thanks for that! Been watching you since the early days! Love and respect David Porterxx
Still by far the best quality content provider on the TH-cam watch wormhole
Far* typo corrected. That will teach me for logging on at 4:00 AM 🥲
TGV, your videos are the best! Great content no bs just awesome content. Thank You!
Sometimes we need to make changes, even if we may go against the grain. I don’t think this is “goodbye” to Rolex, but “I will see you later”.
The search is the joy. You embody this well. Thanks for the great thoughts as always.
I hope you do a video someday about what's involved in designing a watch. This must have had a lot of changes over history, even recent history.
This is hilarious you and Rexy clubbing. Great upload as always. 🦖 🎩
Really enjoyed the video, many thanks for the information and enjoyment! 🙏🏻
Yeah, that part felt a bit brusque.
Been watching you since the early days and I’ll sum it up in 1 word, respect
I became a fan of watches years after I inherited by dad's Submariner. It seems to be a great universal watch that goes anywhere, so despite the hours I've spent discovering amazing watch designs and histories, I'm still just rocking this silver Rolex. Plus it has sentimental value. I sometimes tempt getting a second one to fill-in when the Rolex goes in for servicing. This idea motivates me to keep watching great UG content (and Nekkid Watchmaker).
You are so gifted! I don’t think I could ever get below 12-15 watches. My goal is trade our lower cost with several grail but hold at around 15
I have 4 and its too much. They cant get enough wrist time I would love to give them. Even if its one less, three would be ideal number.
First, GREAT intro . . . looked to be a helluva night out on the town with Hugo! 🍻
Next, I personally have more than a few Casio ABC style wrist monsters (e.g.
Great choice!! Hamilton is a brand on the rise, my friend!
I wouldn't be surprised if the new grail watch in consideration would be an A. Lange & Sohne Zeitwork. Those are a piece of artwork.
Gotta say you keep being fresh and entertaining perhaps the years passing. Elegance is timeless amico mio.
Don't think I've ever clicked a notification so fast in my life.
“I’m busy researching”. Just paused the video after that phrase because being busy researching is the most beautiful part of this journey. Zeuss bless this channel.
10 watches. My limit is ten. Problem is, I seem to have more than 10 watches.
Excellent intro ! Funny as hell. Thanks Tristano to bring some fresh air on the world go watches channel ! cheers from France
I’m 19 years in and still don’t have my dream watchs (rolex deepsea challenge and a 1960s sea master) because I decided to buy loads of other watches whilst some are still big boys in their own right. they aren’t the ones I want and lust over
I hear you loud and clear!!
I hope you save enough to soon attain your grail watch, the red orient kamasu obviously. Great video!
Sorry to hear that Bob!
Thank you for sharing your journey.
Just here to appreciate the content with a comment and a like. Thanks again TGV!
Your best intro yet. Very very entertaining. Top notch. Bravo
Grazie my friend.
T.
@@theurbangentry Just dropped a line to your business e-mail that's on your TH-cam page.
Best regards, John
great video as always. love your sense of humour 🖐my regards to Hugo.
I don’t believe in the so called holy grail watch….once you get it there is always something else that gets that heart pumping again 😂
VERY interesting point. The latter part is especially true!
Thank you,
Best regards,
TGV
What a sigh of relief that has been 😅
Religion and watch collecting! next you will add politics! WWWJW?
That is a very healthy way to be (our latter point) and I wish I had that level of discipline, I am getting there. Congrats on your baptism, I think you choice is absolutely spot on! I like how you describe it too.
Thank you for sharing that. O&U!
Best regards,

Thank you TGV, I love this channel.
Thank you again for another really great and very enjoyable video!
Orient! One of these days I would be so grateful to see another review from this company.
Glad you found your grail. Good to see Hugo!!! Big fan of you both!
Incredible intro TGV, bravo sir! The effort that went I to that is truly appreciated 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
Wow, thanks for the mention! I acutally have referred people to Derek!
Well, for a "watch talk" video this went a lot deeper than I expected :
- Watch addiction. Aside from one club in Watchuseek, this subject is too often dodged
- The independence of reviews, and their whereabouts.
So, compliments for the video, sir. And may your grail quest take enough time to enlighten your path. 🙂👍
Glad to see you have kept your DVDs👍👍
O&U!
Best regards,
TGV
Thank you for your gracious reply. I suggest you speak more about what is clearly a very interesting backstory./@@theurbangentry
I posit most fans are here for the person: TGV, as long as you continue to post about the topics you love, the right fans will listen and relate. Congrats on discovering your grail watch (my money’s on a tourbillon), and don’t count the Casios!
Thank you, TGV!
We love you and what you do!
Good luck going forward and, please, keep showing us what's new and good
I'm beginning to enjoy this channel more for its zany entertainments than the watch talk, Which I also greatly enjoy!
Great perspective TGV. You really managed to stay true to yourself from the very beginning. Looking forward to the downsizing. It is actually very satisfying when it gets down to three pieces;)
Love your channel! I have fallen to this as well... got my first Rolex and now I don't know why I am so into G Shocks and Casios!! AHHHH
Great show as usual 👏 i was actually thinking of buying a rolex explorer 🤔
OMG!!
What a hilarious opening three minutes!
Bravo for the comedy, sir!😂😂😂
Dear TGV, go for a Citizen Aqualand JP2000. You will not regret it. It was launched in '85 and is still produced.
Congrats. Love your channel.
This intro was so good!! Love the prodigy callback!!
Your channel is so refreshing! As always :)
thanks a lot TVG - amazing video
T, bloody epic intro as always... Very nice work! Best. Matthew
