How to convince the other PI why you wanna switch ?? Should you tell directly? Or make some different excuses that will not harm PI's image and your as well?? Im a PhD fellow, been 3 months only and my PI says on the result of my first experiment .. what are these image? Are these worth to publish?? Like its a new field for me and i am doing my best and i am getting result in my learning experiment...but he only finds the wrongs in it why it is over developed, why there is no cells , there is no progress and all...even though i can see progress in my work... How should i deal with it...
Great video! Could you possibly provide insight on how to tell a postdoc advisor that you found a job and are leaving? Especially when the reason is because it didn't turn out to be a good fit and the job opportunities were too great in the current moment. How does 1 year postdocs look to employers? Despite the toxic environment I actually don't hate the PI and would like to not burn the bridge.
That was a great topic and well being done!
I agree with you 100% on everything you said.
Keep up with your videos!
Thank you for the great video!
Thank you so much for your videos. I was offered two postdocs and they indeed killed it by giving very bad recommandations.
Exactly.
Thank you so much for your valuable videos ♥️
Its really hard not to be intimidated by the PI and stay suffering, dont do that it will not get better
Thank you for making this video!!❤
