I watched this one just to understand how to remove my factory rear seat delete if I need access. I had a 20 Redeye when I subbed a good while back but now have a 21 model with factory rear seat delete and faulty fuel pump lol.

Nice job Chris...good camera work and helpful hints on removing parts. If you had to do it again would you remove the front passenger seat? Any difference in road/diff noise level with seats gone? BE SAFE
No need to take seat out.. Im 6’2” and I did without removing seats..

Thanks John! Like Andrew said, no reason to remove the front seat. Once you're back there it really doesn't make a difference.
Noise level is the same as far as I can tell. Although after what I just did to it today, it might be louder now. 🤭

@@KelleysGarageOfficial Hi Chris...got mine in a weekend or two ago. No difference in sound just like you said. This vid really helped. Andrew Shields must be a lot more flexible than me. Had to stop several times to take a break. Getting in and out of the back seat head first or foot first didn't matter. It was work!! For me taking the seat out would have made it easier...I work alown so getting or removing each panel or a tool was another trip in and out. Took me the afternoon...Glad I did it.

So im gonna need to do the opposite of this. My 2021 Scat I just got has the back seat delete already. I have an 11 year child so im gonna have to find seats and buckles for it.

It was like a net loss of aprox. 40lbs

I only had to wait about two weeks, but I had connections through someone who already had them on order.
I know this is old but if you are a tall person I actually removed the fronts seats to do this. Those torx are a pain with a regular ratchet we used a 3 foot long ratchet and made a huge difference for leverage.
Good stuff! I'm glad I didn't pull the front seats, no need to create extra work for yourself. Unless you need the room..
@Kelley's Garage it took me an extra 5 minutes maybe and made things a lot easier. I'm 6'4 so it's not super comfortable in there. Lol
Looks good!!!. Was a bitch first time I did..Ive installed then taken out, of my 19 HC W/B replaced seats back, sold.... then just redid again in my Super Stock. So worth the knuckle busting!

You can always just remove the rear seats and seat belts and have a carbon fiber sheet installed. They make 4'x8' carbon fiber sheets that you can cut to size and rivet to the interior panels. Hope this helps👍

Yes, same exact thing I installed. Brand new, in the box. Factory OEM. I picked up three of them. Sold one already, installed one, so I have one left.
I, m thinking in buy a Scat, and if I buy since the factory, seller, etc. without the rear seats. Maybe o will do that and take to my home the seats. Will wait to see you or other one to put the seats on the car again 🙄 😂 😉

It can be purchased at the dealer. If you're lucky, you may be able to find one used online.
Weight savings you think?
Definite weight savings. I put my Redeye on the scale to compare, I'll also add that when you remove the front passenger seat you'll notice a big difference when combining the two.
