The message was amazing everything i needed to hear. I'm not waiting on him to change but growing in Christ. We have been separated for 3 years. Because of emotional and mental abuse he takes no accountability for anyof his actions. I got an injunction when he started threatening me physically. He left me emotionally along time before the separation.. i fell in love with Jesus. And im living my best life now.

Going through physical, spiritual and emotional abuse in my marriage and Leslie has been such a blessing. Every topic discussed is personal to me.

God wants us to be mentally safe. This is why God tells us to stay away from mentally abusive, quarrelsome people, angry people, etc.

I love your videos so much and have been listening so much. One thing I wish would be cleared up, though, is that the King James doesn't say God hates divorce in Malachi. It says God hates the husband "putting away" (rejecting) the wife. It is the best version in this instance, and I just hate to see it blamed for something it doesn't say.

Yes Gideon if this is God's will this will happen or that that will happen
God's divine will is to choose wisdom versus foolishness as in the book of proverbs
We have options to choose the path in our decisions
    He provides discernment

These talks have been so very helpful and clarifying. Having the proper vocabulary and definitions for things makes such a difference.

My husband told me that that he married the wrong person...i feel like so many use this as their excuse to leave and justify themselves in leaving a marriage

If he is right, doesn't that mean you're also in a wrong marriage?

20 plus years of a sexless marriage. Maybe I am not in Gods will. We went to Doug Weiss’s intensive for intimacy anorexia. He is so willing now to put work into our marriage! Now he say s he loves me! He adores me! But my heart is so broken and hardened. Th plant died. How do I revive dry bones ?

Where/how can I access the workshop Leslie talks about giving on April 13 with the topic of how long to put in the work and waiting to see true change in your husband?

this is helpful but it seems its just what the ladies should do, what if its the man that is in the same shoe

She caters to women which is biblical. Finding a Godly man to help men is beneficial.

If the mans is also in the same situation.... this is exactly what he should do.... personally we have gone through it were i wronged my husband with verbal abuse, and disresect and rebellion. He was just letting me beat him up , had no walls until he decided no more. Decided to have some boundaries. Told me no more disrespect. Said to me either i can stay away with the kids at my parents home. I wanted hurt him more and said ill never leave u.... he said then im gonna go with the kids home. One or the other. He completely withdrew and told me, if there is no respect then there will be no talking at all. Thats when i actually started thinking of consequences and boundaries and respect and stuff like that. It took a few months of work. But by Gods grace it worked.

But the bible says to obey your husband, I don't quite unterstand. Submission , longsuffering should be christlike, not standing up for ourselves. I have the feeling we get encouraged to divorce when it gets hart.

Start listening to Leslie’s teachings. You will gain clarity.

Having boundaries will stop people from walking all over you! I’ve had to learn this in life the hard way. If is absolutely biblical to confront evil and not allow disrespect from others. Your children will also be grateful you could demonstrate effective ways of not allowing people to walk all over you
