There’s some plays every game where Bateman is just wide open for a safer completion no one’s looking at Bateman I feel like we go to an even higher level is we include Bateman more imo

That’s cause bate has to practice in the offseason with Lamar to gain that trust. Hopefully they are now on the same page.

I was glad to see everybody getting involved. Almost all our TEs had 50+ yards. I was surprised to see Wallace as well and was glad he showed up when his number was called.

Like I said in the premier, good to see this clearly being addressed after 2 years of problems. I'm very interested to see if they are as successful against the next opponent to test them on it.

@_illtal for sure, he always open, sometimes I just watch him on the field. It's funny, just watch his body language when he does not get the ball.

@@renaldobuckjr5994 I'd be frustrated as well. He should be looked at more often because he's always drawing single coverage.

I didnt notice until now that Falelee is not in a 3 point stance as a guard like Mekari is

A couple years ago you could see this game becoming a blowout, and not in a good way. Extremely happy about the progress LJ and Monken have made against this kind of look.

If we had a dominant #1 i would handle it the way Aaron Rodgers use to handle zero. Lock it up, Max protect big boy post to Adams!

Exactly! Our most productive receiver is Zay who ranks 32nd in receiving yards. He is not the wide radius, contested catch guy that other "elite" passers rely on. He is great, but he is not Chase, Collins, Jefferson, or Metcalf. Lamar has to get through progressions, make reads, and take what the defense gives him. He doesn't have the option of anticipating his receiver winning in a contested spot he hasn't reached yet.

Lamar has elite playmakers in almost every position. This is a run first team. A number one receiver will not change that.
