    I just ordered mine in this exact color and trim level, only differences being the 18' Pulse Spoke wheels and the silver roof/mirrors. This will be my first ever Mini!

      @@thomasv.pedersen3068 I’ve been greatly enjoying it! So fun to drive and easy to live with. Coming from a Nissan Pathfinder this feels like a slot car. Also feels nice to have relatively good fuel economy despite being driven rather spiritedly. All in all, I love it!

      @@WilliamRivera343 Hello. I’m reaching out to ask how are you liking your Mini so far? Did you have any concerns about its long term reliability before purchasing? Has it been reliable so far? What are your pros and cons? Do you have any buyers remorse ? I saw a 2023 Mini Cooper S on Autotrader and deeply considering getting it. It’s my dream car, but there are some nay sayers due to its past models.

      @@leom00n79 I've been enjoying it so far. It has been solid and dependable while being a genuinely fun ride. These current (F56) gen Minis are pretty solid as they use the BMW B46 engine which is why it is much more reliable than the 1st and 2nd Gen (R53 & R56 respectively) Minis.
      F56 Minis, especially 2017 refresh and forward are actually very good cars with the main thing to watch for being motor mounts as the car goes up in age and mileage. If you can get a good deal then I say go for it or wait for the 4th Gen F66 Mini that should go on sale sometime in 2024. F66 will have the same engines as the current car but with a different tune.

    Nice spec, they call that colour British Racing green! That spec is called Level 3 here in the UK. I am in Oxford, where this car is built.

      The rebel green on the JCW looks like a more authentic BRG than this green, nice as it is though.

    Definitely a fun car to watch in a review. I have a few British friends who now live in the US and buy nothing but Mini Coopers...they swear by them. Personally I'm not fond of the instrumental panel in the center of the dash.

    • @WTFCRLT1
      @WTFCRLT1  ปีที่แล้ว

      It was a very fun car to drive! The center instrument panel takes some getting used to but it’s a signature for Mini, plus with the HUD it’s really not too bad!

    Cars are seldom reviewed from the day-to-day maintenance perspective. Minis are a bear to clean and detail -- so many jutting out corners, odd-shaped surfaces, tight spaces between seats and console elements. I own the 2006 S and this is a tough sell for me. Not a lot for that 36K.

  • @pacific570
    @pacific570 ปีที่แล้ว

    The AC in this car literally takes until the cows come home for them to finally start blowing out air when you turn it on. I live in California right now where it’s 100+ outside and the inside of my mini I can only imagine is way hotter
    And when I turn on the ac I literally have to fkn wait outside a good solid minute until they start blowing air.
    I might be exaggerating on the time but holy shit I’ve never dealt with this with any car let alone a 2023.
    My 2011 box truck from work has a way better Ac and turns on when you actually turn it on

    • @LorenzoC2314

      Any mini copper is not that reliable. I bought one for my first car and had it for 4 years and it needed constant engine maintenance. Yes every car needs maintenance but the engine for these cars is not that good. And they are a little pricey. The drive is fun but I feel like you can get a better car for the price.

      This F55/56/57 generation is probably the most reliable out of all of the modern minis now that everything is built by BMW oddly enough and none of the powertrain is outsourced anymore. 14s and 15s had some initial issues but overall they’re way more solid then they have been since 2001.
