    Hi and thanks for your video it’s always good to see 👍
    Question: can you please show how you put in your shelves and the curtain? Also where and how you you extended the bed? Thanks so much

      The shelves were cut by bunnings (you can request this) and then screwed in place with small brackets. The curtain is just a curtain rod from bunnings that has 2 ends you screw in to the wall. To extend the bed I unscrewed the frame from where the hinge is, moved it the distance wanted and then rescrewed it in.

    Actually I have 2 questions. Firstly, why do you keep your vans for short periods? And secondly, should we be using brass fittings for our drinking water hoses? Thanks

    • @DamianCandetti
      @DamianCandetti  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      We only buy our vans short term due to needing the money to invest elsewhere. We will then buy another van when the investment is cashed out. Not sure about the brass thing but I know you can buy hoses that are rated as drinking water. This way they don't leach plastics in the hose into the water but in our case we never drink the tank water as we carry cask water for drinking.

    Hi. Thanks for video. What hardware/etc do you use to hang the shelves? Thanks

      I just used 4 of these per shelf, super easy to work with, then after I used a bathroom anti-mould silicon to fill the gap and and glues it in place.

      @@DamianCandetti Thanks for that, when we are out of lockdown and they open Bunnings will check them out plus get some shelves cut 👍

    Hey Damian, you mentioned you wouldn't go instantaneous hot water again and to stick with tank hws. Why is that?

    • @DamianCandetti
      @DamianCandetti  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      It cost 600-800 more and had too many intermitent issues with the flow being too low to activate the heating. this may be a brand related issue but I would just to back to basics next time and get tanked.

    6:50 to 7:50 it looks like you have the hose on the outside tap going to the pump which pumps back into the tap?

    • @DamianCandetti
      @DamianCandetti  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      I do that while driving to keep the dust out the connectors, the tap is turned off so there is no circulation

    Which sub did you go for and did you run the wiring under the floor?

    • @DamianCandetti
      @DamianCandetti  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      pioneer from Super cheap auto, was on sale for $200 or there abouts, ran it down behind the fridge and yes under the floor to the under seat space. its possible to just intall the sub up the top in the back of the cupboard but I knew the under seat storage was a waste of space as I never used it.

      @@DamianCandetti I ended up putting mine in the cupboard above the head unit as I couldn't get the cords behind the fridge. Did you take your fridge out to run them behind it?

    your wires from your invertor to the battery look a bit thin

    • @DamianCandetti
      @DamianCandetti  ปีที่แล้ว

      I dont disagree, but they are the factory wires and never had any issues

    • @man.i.literally.failed6772
      @man.i.literally.failed6772 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@DamianCandetti yeah, factory. that's the problem 😁doesn't matter if you spend 30k or 100k wiring is always dodgy, put your inverter under load and feel how hot the wires are.
