I bought the latex tape and it requires just as much precision to apply as nail polish. Not really worth the trouble 😮💨

you don't need perfect nails! before i got into nails at all mine were super short, lots of hangnails, bit my cuticles, all that. just learn how to take care of them so they can be healthy and grow! :)

who else has like little cuts and free skin around their nails. I cant stop picking at them!!
lol im late but i used to have them, basically all i did was put ointment for cuts such as neosporin or I would put petroleum jelly. The oitnment is much more effective but I would just put a lot on my cuts at night before i went to bed and then sleep with it. It takes a couple of days but if you limit picking them and keep putting ointment on it they will be gone very quick! Hope this helped.:)

My nails are really curvy so everytime i try to paint the sides of my nails the polish always touch my skin.
I actually suck at painting my nails (and makeup)but my favourite nail polish color is black 😑 that makes it even harder
oh yea black polish is really harder to make neat but get a little brush to clean up around the nail to make it look neat! :)

i think its important to mention that the tiny brush should be made with natural bristles, so that it absorbs the acetone and actually does the job, synthetic bristles dont really hold the liquid and dont do a good job removing the polish

This helped a lot I use to mess up my nails really bad when I painted them the technique u used pushing forward with the brush by the cuticles helped I never done it like that I just went right in thank u!!

lol edit I’m older now and I’ve stopped biting my nails! My nails grow out so much more longer now and I’ve really come a long way from that day. I’m glad I stopped my bad habit of biting my nails. :))

Thank you so much for the tips😘😀 but I don't have any base coat😔 but I'll go shopping with my grandma maybe on Saturday and I am 11 almost turning 12!!!!!!! and people are upsessed with my nails and they ask me who did your nails?? and I'm like me do you like them? them: OMG GURL YOU DID THAT ITSS SOOO PRETTY💖😍 me: thx😃 I always tell them to watch you because you are the best nail TH-camrs and your tips are very useful to me!!!! I really like putting on nude colors and pastel colors besides that I believe all the colors are great!!!!!! When I go shopping (if I go shopping on Saturday) I will buy a pastel purple or blue and a base coat and also I need latex because I am one of those people who always gets nail polish from there skins

unless the stains are really bothering you, I just leave them. If acetone won't do the trick then anything else you try could damage or weaken the nail and cause it to break later, and having stains doesn't really do damage. To avoid looking at my stains I add more polish :)
ALWAYS use basecoat so it won't stain
Put hand cream all over the nails and cuticles and then use nail polish remover as usual x

every time I see one of these videos I get frustrated, I've tried every single one of these things but the only thing that works is practice. If I use liquid latex I manage to get some on my nail (even when I go back and check to see if theres any on my nails) and then when I peel it off it takes some of the polish with it, if i go back with a small brush it doesn't really take all of the polish off but if I apply more pressure I end up hitting my nail, I've used really thin coats to make sure nothing floods my cuticles, none of it has really helped... It almost seems like the skin around my nails is more "in the way" than for others

Have you dried pushing your cuticles back towards your skin? There is a tool designed for it, or you could just use your fingers
I always let it flood. I just don’t care at all about the skin around my nail, after painting all the layers on i leave it to completely dry. Then i use a blunt x-acto knife or ruler and kind of cut off the excess polish, and use a cleanup brush dipped in acetone to refine the lines.

Nooo not the buffer🥺 It’s so bad for your nails because it removes layers of your nails which makes them weaker and they will break easiler. So just dont do it🥺

Like most tutorials I find, this does not tell you how long you should let each coat dry or if you even should let it dry. If I try to let each coat dry, it becomes wet and soft, even after putting on a top coat. I need tips on dry times between coats, not just how long a finished manicure takes to dry.
