Another hack is: If you want to make/paint a French tip, use one of those price sticker things and put it where your nail tip is (and kinda use it like a nail vinyl). After that just paint your nail tip and take off the sticker. Hope this helps! 💅❤

Ka Lokomaikai Buy a white polish used for French tips! For some reason, they'll thicker and more opaque than normal white polishes! Try Claires "Snowball" or Color Club "French Tip"
the Wet and wild white polish called 'french white creme' is pretty opaque, and not too expensive ;D
KikiJade Wiki.x rimmel's French tip polish (duh) is really opaque and milky aaand it has a skinny brush for 'doing' the French tip
Be careful with website that sell things cheap all of the time. There’s a lot of imitations out there!
I have also used sewing straight pins with the little balls on the ends as dotting tools. I just push the sharp end into a pencil eraser to make it a little safer and give me a handle to hold on to. 💅

A "hack" I know is that pure acetone nail polish remover will remove hair dye off of your skin.

Hey, with tip number 7 how do you stop the white nail polish underneath from showing through around the edges? I try to cover it up, but there's always a tiny bit peeking in the corners, especially after the polish wears a bit. It especially annoys me when I do white under an ombre or a water marble. Also, with tip number 11, when I'm applying nail polish should I clean up with a brush around the edges while it's wet, between every layer? Or just clean it all up at the end?

I am sorry, but topcoat as basecoat does not work as well. They have different ingredients and different purposes.
It's a hack in case you don't have a base coat on hand. A topcoat will help prevent your nails from staining from a red polish rather than just applying it directly on your nail bed ☺️
