Polenta is very similar to a food I eat here in Romania which is called mămăligă. It's made with corn meal. I've eaten in the form of a portion served like mashed potato and also, after cooling, I've cut it into slices and then fried it giving a result like the "polenta chips" Lee had.

The Great British Chippy in Currambine. I have been there a couple of times. Your expertise in fish and chips would know if they are authentic British . But there are lots of fish and chips available everywhere in Perth. There are also lots of Indian, Thai, and other Asian restaurants. I think the best sea food is in Fremantle on the boardwalk on the harbour. Try the kangaroo. It is available in the supermarkets. Ethicallly it is no different eating roo, as it is eating venison.

Do great Avocado on toast and Banana bread. Food will never be a problem in Australia. Have a great trip. You should love it, it’s just the length of flight that annoys. In perth, multicultural cuisine all over the place. Try some pub food first up, maybe a Parmi, Steak or Burger. Fish and Chips are great from local Chippies. A little Chinese, Italian or Vietnamese. From some of the restaurants. Fresh salad rolls if your on the go from lunch bars or cafe's. Pies and sausage rolls we have it all. Most of all enjoy plenty to offer in perth and outer suburbs, Three videos and editing maybe to much to really enjoy what we have, your 3 weeks will fly by.Be prepared to travel almost everywhere by car we are large spread out takes a lot of travelling time to see anything.

Lee we eat fish and chips. We live mostly on the seashore. So fresh fish a plenty try beer battered flat head, a beautiful soft fleshed fish.
Great to see you both, the food looked good, personally dont like brioche buns as they are sweet, and prefer to eat of a plate not a wooden one ! Dont like them as chopping boards either, you work well together

Kangaroo's a bit like Venison, there's no fat in it, nothing to write home about.
Ordinary Aussie food out in the bush is pretty dire tbh.
