Funny that you mention that most of the fish 'n chips shops where you're from in Mansfield are run by Greek Cypriots. Here in Sydney (and Melbourne as well), most of the fish 'n chip shops and "Milk Bars" [take-away hot-food/burger shops/general stores] when I was growing up in the 70's & 80's were all run by Greek immigrants too. In fact my local chipper today (Poseidon's Catch in Lane Cove) is run & staffed by the grandchildren & great grandchildren of Greek immigrants and is as old-school a 'chipper as you can get. One thing you can say about the Greeks; they know their seafood!

Hi Lee you mentioned two ways people say scon and scone lol . I live near Perth (Scotland) which is close to a village named scone there is also scone palace near by . Locally we pronounce it scoon so for me the right spelling for the scon is scon lol .
Lee, been going to Paphos for 20+ years and got 2 strong recommendations for you , one old one new. (Avoid the tourist trap places, go where the locals go ☺️) The first is T&J's fish and chips. Fairly new, just a few years old but run by an English couple, gets great reviews and one of if not the best fish and chips I've ever had. (Tried most of your Notts/Mansfield/Yorkshire fish and chip places you rated well and this beats them all hands down IMHO, plus it's great value.) The second place is the imperial Chinese restaurant. Been going for years and it's always superb. Lovely location, great food/service and decent prices. On a more general note the old town and market is scenic and has some lovely little cafés. The coastal path from chapel to lighthouse beach is a stunning walk with beautiful scenery and fantastic views. Lastly some of the animal sanctuaries would make a good vlog and are in desperate need of publicity/support. (Can't do Cyprus without cats ☺️) There's a small sanctuary in Paphos itself that does all animals and is easy to get to or the Talia Monastery cat park may be worth a trip too. (Hundreds of cats in a little villages old monastery, what's not to like for an interesting vlog) Enjoy Paphos it's a beautiful place. We're back in May to celebrate our 30th wedding anniversary. Could of gone anywhere, we chose Paphos which says it all really 👍

I read somewhere that the river is called Nen for part of it's length, then after a certain spot on the map it is called Neen (Nene).

The chips were triple cooked alright. Fried first time on monday, then again tuesday, then third time on wednesday lol.

Those chips looked like they were maybe supposed to be triple cooked but it looks like the 3rd cook was in a microwave instead of a fryer
And that fish must have been frozen but you can still get good frozen fish but that just looked like a cheap breaded piece of fish
It looked disgusting mate the bread looked dry and old i would say only a 2 out of 10 missing your UK reviews.
