A safety harness adds peace of mind when working on high projects such as painting, guttering, and siding.
In this video Dave shows how to put on the harness, how to clip the safety rope to the back link, which is the heart of the device, and how to slide the climbing mechanism up the rope.
The beauty of a safety harness is that if a person was to fall, the harness would offer support on both legs, under both arms, and on the chest, distributing the weight of a person's body against the restraint.
Dave also explains about the fall arrestor, which is a length of rope that is bound by a plastic covering. If a person fell, the plastic would tear, and the fall arrestor would unwind gradually, providing less of a shock to the person who is falling.

What stops the ladder from becoming a wedge and pulling your scaffolding over? Appreciate the video!

      Hey Matt,
The scaffolding is pretty heavy - won't move too easy. Also, we always tie off the scaffolding just in case - an easy precaution. And we put the ladder on the short side - least likely to cause tipping!.
      Thx for watching!
