Dear Paul, I thank you for your continued guidance concerning the art of driving. It has enabled me to fully understand the theoretical and practical aspect of what may be deemed to be a rather daunting prospect to master. I have recently begun to accomplish this via driving lessons, and will therefore continue with your much needed tutorage.
Really good to have you back making videos you've been quite for a while! I'm 18 and I passed my test back in February but there's always more to learn
+Paul Jensen Yes I had a lot going on but I'm back now with some new camera kit as you'll see in my latest videos. I'll get making more whenever I can, just waiting for a few camera gadgets to arrive in the post.
Obviously abbreviating and condensing your running commentary helps to get more info in for example tj for t junction or tjr for t junction on the right, if both pupil and examiner learn abbreviations that could be a step ahead!!
Watching these driving videos at 2x speed gives me anxiety it's like "oh my god why are you driving so fast slow down man" then im like "oh... Wait..."
No because then you're giving them the chance to mark you down for things they wouldn't have otherwise. I had a pupil years back who parked perfectly and then said "That's the first time I've ever done it properly!". How do you think that sounds to an examiner?
+ThatCrazyDan Yes, that's one of the main advanced techniques used. I did do one once but the sound was bad due to me not having a lapel microphone so you just couldn't hear much.
+1stdrive Hi, I have been watching your videos and subscribed to your channel for awhile now and I think you are doing an amazing job but I need your help..... I sat my theory test today and I passed my theory part but failed my hazard perception by 4 points it was 14 CGI clips vs the old real life like clips can you give me any advice or provide a link to where I can buy a PC disk where I can practice these CGI clips...... your videos are great please keep on what you are doing
Hi mate! This is great practice for the RoSPA Advanced driving test I am aiming to do in the future (I am currently having training sessions with my tutor every two weeks). Are you going to be covering any more advanced topics anytime soon at all? Cheers Paul and keep up the good work!

I would find this really hard to do... guess im going to start doing it
great video - im thinking of doing commentary for my driving exam (normal DVLA) - do you think this is good idea?

will you do an advanced video on the 'limit point'?
+ThatCrazyDan Yes, that's one of the main advanced techniques used. I did do one once but the sound was bad due to me not having a lapel microphone so you just couldn't hear much.

I'll never be a proper advanced driver. I just can't master the commentary.
You don't have to do commentary for many advanced tests. You can do it if you keep practising. It's not easy and takes a long time to pick up.
