I love mine. The only problem is once you ride it for a while it's hard to take a break because you just want to keep riding. Got mine delivered at night and was riding around from 10pm-3am like a kid on Christmas!

Got mine today. Rode it until the battery died. While charging, it started to rain...
I got the miniPRO260 March 2020 for $299 shipped from Sams.com - I love it! I would not have purchased it for $1000-$1300 . . .
I got mine for 599 at Sam's Club. I love it and it's a great option to commute nearby areas like: Gas stations, Grocery store, friends house, and other local shops. I live in rural area but I hate turning my car on just to go two miles.

Love my miniPro! Gets me around SF amazingly and love to see and feel my city in a new way...Haters be hating but they be looking for parking, riding the bus, or walking so Im not too concerned on their thoughts. Fun as hell. Experience your city again for the first time.

Can someone tell me the difference between the Segway minipro and NineBot minipro? Or are they the same thing and I'm hearing them referred too by two different names?

It's worth the wait. I just got mine a couple days ago. Very chill relaxing vehicle once you get used to it. The only negative is it's heavy to carry around.

Odd, Ninebot has been making this for almost 2 years, they just changed the name to Segway. I have the Ninebot version I bought from CES last year

I love these and wish it had some sort of way to charge it with out carrying the charger unit.

I feel my mini pro grinds (under sensor pads?) when I ride it a very low speed inside home, like less than a mile and goes away if the speed increase to 2+, it is sporadic tho and mainly happens when I do very slow turns. is it common occurrence or should I be worried?
i saw it before. thanks for making a video about it. also i wanted to say the laws here in the Netherlands at least make it so that a motorized transportation device needs a steering wheel/mechanism ( that is more hardware than just leaning like a skateboard). sadly on all the other cool personal transportation devices like electric skateboard and such you could get a fucking ticket. xD ps. I do understand why. it is really saver on first looks of it! :D

The Xiaomi Ninebot Mini costs only half the price. It's a collaboration between Xiaomi and Ninebot and it's almost identical.
actually xiaomi owns ninebot and segway as well, and it's like $380
Xiaomi Mini cant support more than 180lbs, Mini Pro supports 220, Xiaomi has lower power motors, smaller battery with less voltage which means less range, and no adjustable steering column height. Oh also the Xiaomi Mini is illegal in the United States, the Segway Mini Pro has batteries that are certified to not catch fire or blow up and is street legal in the U.S.
So 1000$ is not a big deal, because the older brother cost 5000$ ? Are you living on earth mate ?

The point is that the segway is faster and less effort. And its getting really cheap so its a good idea to pick one up if it looks interesting.
I have a no steering segway
Is such a pain once you have to change the tire .
Can you ride these in the rain or snow? Or on the street or sidewalk legally in most cities? I'm guessing that's a no. This just seems like a silly toy for kids as opposed to an actual good way of getting around. It's like a bike but without the health benefits. I live in Ohio and have never seen anybody ride these. Must be a California thing. don't mean to rain on anybody's parade and if you have one and you like it that's great . but I just don't see the appeal

very true, they can go way faster, and if I dies, you can use it as a regular skateboard!

That's only partially true, boosted, runs on a belt, so if you use it while it's off the wheels drag and cause resistance that causes drag, if you actually want a e board that is also an actual board when not on, check out inboard.
I use a real longboard to get around because I'm a badass and not cucked.
Kidding, but still; I chuckle when I see someone with an automatic skateboard.

Actually the $499 I was referring to was the 320 model which is now $537 (older model but longer range 14miles). That $383 was actually $363 this morning and that is for the "2018 model" or the 260watt hour model which has a max range of 12.5miles.
I just got the minilite model for 240.00.
