Is the motors in hubs/wheels or in the body like Segway? If in wheels, you would have more room for batteries...

For a senior; your opinion please; which is best model?
I just bought the Segway X2. IMHO the i2 is the best bet for stability. I've had 2 friends fall off the Ninebot. The Segway i2 or x2 is more stable.

+majorgeeks Good deal. I just got an email from 9bot. $799 for mini pro plus free shipping. Watched a 30 min video where the guy took one through the mud and really abused it. Took it like a champ. I think I am sold on 9bot and the mini pro for that price.

They make add on seats. The batteries are lithium.

Mini Pro is cool. This is mallcop material.
LOL, Mini Pro is a tiny version of this with a knee bar. I can buy the bar and have both but you can't with the Mini Pro.
It actually goes both ways; you can buy a handle bar for the Mini Pro, tried it at a dealer, but the Mini Pro is effortless with the knee bar as is.
Didn't know that. I think I'd hate it. I found this one because of its lighter weight and wheels to be much less stable that a Segway so I couldn't imagine the Mini. Maybe I'll try one out :)
