I've had the Segway and Ninebot ever since the introduction in the states by Amazon. I love it and think it is the best of breed out there for this type of device. It isn't a hoverboard it is much better.
I just have a problem with the price that is being charged and they definitely could have charged less for it or brought the mini over and give people a choice. These two are almost identical.

both made by 9bot, essentially the same components, a shame that they were so greedy and decided to charge 3X! it is a great device and should be available to the masses. It isn't at the current price!

Interesting video. I also bought the ninebot mini and want to ship it international but I want to do that without the battery. So my question is, is that easy and all is remove the screws and cut the seal stickers and the battery comes out just like that ?

If you look carefully, the BMS Firmware versions are different on the two batteries. I'm almost 100% certain it's the Battery Management System firmware that's controlling the full charge to 4800mah on the Pro. Segway has done that purposely for the Pro to ensure the battery life cycle lasts a long time.. up to 1500 charges.

Is it limited to 4800mAh when connected to the Pro's main board? Would a board swap unlock it if so? Or is the firmware on some hardware attached to the battery itself?

I like the pro better. Now that the price is 1/3 of the initial launch price. It has the quick release control bar that extends to accommodate a wide variety of heights and the battery has brick protection.
hi great video !!! but i am a new Mini Pro user but i am using this device on my work but the battery life is for me to short is it worth to buy seccond battery to swapping when 1 battery is dead... that you can take the replacement battery... or is it no usefull to do it ? Or is it better to buy a seccond mini pro device... the price is a bit high so thats why i think buying 2nd battery will be good... please advice thanks
if you are having issues with the battery, get segway to fix. if you do it yourself, you void the warranty
you mean buying a seccond mini pro or ?... YA IKNOW i heard it already on your video that you loese the warranty if you try to replace the battery by yourself. i wich the device has a much better battery or a quick charger or something...
not sure what you mean here, i would not get a replacement battery unless you don't have warranty and the battery is bad. it is not meant to be replaced often.
I have a problem. I got water on the power button and my Segway won’t turn off. I tried letting the water dry out of the button but the power button is lodged down and won’t come back up. Please help.

Is it possible to use the ”Ninebot S-MAX” battery in ”Segway Mini pro” and ”Ninebot Mini”? Does anyone know? It would be great to have bigger battery but I don’t need more power..
@The Sacrosanct ninebot s plus doesn't combine with go kart kit that I own..
My mini pro has S-Max battery. The battery is very big so I should remove the kickstand because of interference.

there goes that warranty... or was this on the non UL listed one? by the way.. should I get model X or and S? I'm closing on my other house tomorrow.. I'm buying a Tesla hopefully next week..
this is swapping the battery on both. so losing the warranty on both the mini and the minipro. but since i bought the mini from china, there isn't really any warranty. but i feel comfortable enough with both that i don't really need the warranty.
