A view requested a flip-through of a book that I had shown in my August 2024 colouring book/supplies haul video - and I'm happy to oblige! :)
This is an older book (2016) and I'm flipping through the UK edition.
The book is Gulliver's New Travels: Colouring in a New World by James Gulliver Hancock.
Let's take a look!

Awesome! Thanks for the flip through. 😊
You're welcome! :)
Thank you!!! Now I've gotta buy it. ❤
You're welcome! :)
I like it. It's different.
Thanks! :)
Enjoyed your flip. I’m excited to try coloring again it’s been years.
Glad you enjoyed it! And have fun with your colouring! :)
Great book. So fun
So glad you liked it! :)
@@colouringchemist I had to order it
@@patriciadimarco8378 Enjoy! :)
I love this one! It's so different and it has a lot of variety in it. There are very full and busy pages, there are pages with a lot of white space, some pages have a lot of curvy lines while others have more rectangles and stuff, it's great!
I was diagnosed with autism 3 years ago, after my 16yo got their diagnose. Once I learned more about it, it was pretty obvious 😅Nobody ever noticed because I'm very good at masking and I guess also because we just don't know much about autism in girls and women. I did have struggles, but about part of them I thought everybody had issues with them, and the rest I just had no idea why it was so difficult. It never occured to me to ask for help, apparently that can be an autistic trait too.
I personally don't have trouble with eye contact, but maybe that's why you don't like colouring faces? I wonder if it would make a difference for you if you would just cover the eyes with your hand and look at it then.
Enjoy your colouring ❤
Ah - I do have trouble with eye contact so that makes sense why I wouldn't be drawn to colouring faces. Thanks for making that connection for me! And yes - women do tend to be very good at masking their autistic traits and so we tend to be under-diagnosed.
And the book is very cool - a little bit of everything! I'm so glad that a viewer suggested it to me!
@@colouringchemist I'm having lots of aha moments about random stuff that I now realise is autism related. Understanding these things helps me to learn how to cope with them better.
I found the book on amazon. It usually ships within 6 to 7 months 🙄
@@kirstendecoster3201 It is a difficult book to get - I think I lucked out. :) And yes - so much to learn about ASD in adult women!
@@colouringchemist Well, I checked again after posting my comment, and it will arrive next week 😁 It even went down in price, so I guess I got lucky too.
@@kirstendecoster3201 Hooray! :)
