We should examne the freedom of speech in USA. 13 Harvard students who have completed all academic requirements were denied graduation because they supported Palestine instead of Israel. Not the fault of the academics. It's the administrative branch who overruled the recommendations of the academic body that these poor victimized students should graduate. Not only at Harvard was freedom of peaceful protest suppressed, it's happening in many US universities. Violent protests in Hong Kong were hailed by Nancy Pelosi as "Beautiful sight to behold". Where are you, Nancy, when it comes to protests in US campuses? I am certain if these Harvard students were protesting in favor of Israel, nothing would have happened to them.

What amazes me is that China is in a far better position than any other country as far as the economy. It still has a GDP per capita of a fifth to a sixth of the United States, so price wise it has a lot of space to take advantage of lower labor costs. Another factor is that China installs more robots than anybody. And Chinese leadership has proven to capable of changing policy, and it has shown few if any mistakes when it changes policy. China is a lot more nimble than pretty much any other country at dealing with issues. And think the Chinese leadership cannot identify issues. Sorry the Chinese leadership listens to experts. Not like the United States which has never for instance, consulted John Mearsheimer. The US has the same severe problems like it had decades ago. It does not fix problem like shootings, mass shootings, BLM, abusive police, systematic discrimination, largest incarceration rate and number in the world, the degredation of its infrastructure, the homelessness, a poverty rate of 17.8% according to CIA and World Bank. The list goes on and on and they are not new problems. What problems does china have that it does not solve, even the US waging an economic war with China China has dealt with.

If a neighbour' house was on fire, he would be clapping his hands and dancing with joy. Chinese citizens can call mayor's hotline to make a complaint about government's bad performance, government will take some actions to solve the problem and give you a brief report as a feedback. If you are unsatisfied with the result and your opinion is reasonable, they will urge the relevant department to take more actions until the problem is eventually solved properly.

once I found trucks parking on the road illegally outside my bar in Shenzhen few years ago, I called the traffic police and within 5 mins they came and urged those truck drivers to leave, about two hours later I got a call from the policewoman asked me if I was satisfied with what her colleagues had handled on this issue and if there was anything I need to complain.
We need no freedom to mock the government and get nothing done, a government doing things for the people is exactly what we need.

@@cheungchingtong Yup well said. A good govt is one who can really serve the people, improve the quality of living for them & maintain good law and order to ensure safety for them. This is the exact opposite of what the govt in USA is like. Their govt spends more on funding (and inciting) wars in other countries rather than on upgrading their infrastructures and improving social obligations for its own people. The physical state that their country is in now is a shame and disgrace for one who is supposedly to be the most powerful and richest nation. And lets not even talk about the safety aspect over there. With their corrupt and overly egoistic law enforcement officers (aka uniformed thugs), it is a hard fight between being at risks from the criminals or the cops in this false Land of the Free. If you call the police or are unfortunate enough to have anything to do with them, chances are you will live to regret it. With their huge ego and power-tripping, "serving" the people is not on the top of their list. One thing sadder than being oppressed and deprived are those whom do not even know that they are being scr*wed by their own govt and yet think that they are living better than others. Real pitiful these yankees are.

They have a government that provides cheaper cost for producer, Better access for producer and others necessity for production are much welcome and supported.
They (China ) provides: cheap electricity, water, transportation, security, low tax. Realty tax free. and support all others need.
For those who went there earlier. When China opens for free enterprise. They apply for lot. ( land). Free. To put factory or business. That was 30 to 40 years ago. They were able to sales. Right of the lot ( land) they applied. They earned very big money. Probably no investor lost money. Those close business, still profitable they sales the lot ( land ) right only. they applied. Maybe until now. Nobody can own lots ( land). Only government.,

The most convincing way to disprove the lie that Chinese people cannot criticize the government or CPC is for you to make a video criticizing the government or CPC and show that you have NOT been arrested or deported. (Edit. I agree with replies which say why criticise if you are satisfied. However, because westerners have a lot to criticise about their own governments, they will assume absence of criticism in China indicates suppression rather than satisfaction or the existence of other avenues for complaint. Hence, the need for "proof" in ways which westerners will understand.)

Hello, I'm glad to see your video. As a Beijinger, I'd like to offer my perspective on the points you mentioned in your video. Firstly, the news broadcasted to the public in every country is selective, choosing what they want you to see rather than the truth, to fuel national and ethnic divisions and become a political tool. We should always approach the news we read or hear with a clear head, and we shouldn't be too surprised that not only the US but also China won't report facts correctly. For example, the recent fat cat incident in China, the government and the media twisted the truth to report the incident. Of course, we're not fools, there are too many suspicious points. Secondly, China's economy is indeed in decline, and every country is in the same situation after Covid-19, with more unemployment among low-skilled workers and young people, and excess capacity in factories. It is true that China is very safe, because no one can afford the criminal consequences. It's also true that there are cameras everywhere, but the idea that everyone is being secretly monitored is not true because there are too many people in China and it's impossible to monitor everyone. It's also true that Chinese people are free, but they are free within the rules that are being established, and can you really be free to roam the streets playing if someone has a gun? The freedom to carry a gun is not the kind of freedom we seek. Freedom should have boundaries.

The United States is like this: the US government breaks one of your legs, you have the freedom and power to protest, then the US government gives you a cane, you are grateful to the government, and then everywhere you promote your freedom to protest in exchange for being able to walk, you forget how your leg broke.

I think Western media should focus more on the Chinese stock market.

It is a breath of fresh air to listern to people who have been to China and tell the truth.
I myself have been to China 7 times and are going back again next year I love there history and there culture plus the people are very friendly and helpfull
I would encourage people to go to China and see for yourselves you will not regret it as it is totally different to what the western alliance clames it to be.
The whole western alliance could learn a hell of a lot from China.
When you go to China go with an open mind and foget all the crap the western media put out about china.

I have the same experience as you and i am happy to see you coming up with something that makes sense and exposing lies.i also have add to the fact that western media has nothing better to sell other than lies and hypocricy and this is how they and their politics survives.

Love your content and I’m seriously contemplating moving to China next year. Tell me, with TH-cam being banned, how do you manage to upload everything? VPN? If so, which one? Keep going. 👍
