In Africa, we love China. We adore China. China gave us the opportunity to use phones. Even at $50 dollars, we can use an andriod thanks to China. All tech gadgets in my home are from China. It's what I can afford. It's amazing. We love you, China ❤

This is what America means by "overcapacity". According to the Americans, China should stop producing affordable and high quality products and sell them to developing countries. The Americans and Europeans want to maintain the situation that only they can make products and sell the products with high prices to developing countries.

II have to concede that I was also one of these westerners that for many years considered almost everything the western medias were spreading about China as true, and I was not really motivated, even scared, when in 2012, my boss asked me to work on a project in China! But after a few days there, I already realized that the reality didn't match with what I was told about China. Week after week I even realized that in many cases, the reality of China was quite the opposite of what I expected, and that very often the headlines about China, were pure lies! And after living 5 months in China, I experienced by mysel how amazing China is, how welcoming Chinese people are, and how amazing the Chinese culture is. Now 12 years after, back in Europe, I even have the feeling that the situation get worse, and that we cannot trust anything the Western medias, even the governments, print and say about China. Therefore thank you for your videos making your viewers aware of the reality and the greatness of China. We need more Westerners like you, living in China, who tells the truths about China.

In the end, it's a lame video, as it does not talk about the blatant oppression to freedom of speech in China....and especially for westerners. Having the police come to your home at all hours....with no real justification....is not something that anyone should welcome. If you can't talk about your situation openly, then this is a REAL problem. This is just another video that glosses over the real and pertinent problems with living in China.....and especially for those who have learned to speak openly, rather than being afraid to say anything that might annoy the govt of the country you are in. Personally, I would NEVER go to China, because I like expressing political opinions...and that would put me in real trouble incredibly fast in China....even though |I'm just a regular person doing their thing in life. It's an oppressive country....and that's a no-brainer.

The western media put too much weighting in politics instead of respecting the lifestyle, cultural differences in China. Everything is so superficially reported/ stereotyped to favor such political appetite. You should understand there are good/ bad people all around in different countries/ societies/ sub-culture, how can things be overwhelmingly bad as described in western media!? Human dignity, moral standards, righteousness, evilness, etc. are manifested similar to normal distribution curve.
Those western media are just brain-washing!!

They have had no wars since 1979. We are on the offense to fill coffers of the defense industries. Bless you.

They have a grudge with the country that want to practice meritocracy. Can they go to Singapore & be allowed to teach if they have no qualifications ? Why are they not teaching in America ?😅
This video also shows that the world have way more simple minded people than those that can think critically. The simple people just swallow hook, line & sinker the misinformation fed to them. They also prefer gutter journalism - compare the subscriptions on those that spews or twist & sensationalised news/information to those that just report straight unadulterated news to confirm yourself.

Thank you for being one of the many Westerners to set the record straight ! When I discovered through vlogs, Chinese shows, and all these lies that you denounce today from Western media, I can admit that I really cried ! For what ? Because I lost so much time before falling in love (from afar) with this country which has fascinated me today for more than 6 years, and my dream is to be able to visit it one day. I am ashamed for the West, which is so decadent with such false propaganda which brainwashes its populations in every area possible. Some of my acquaintances, when I told them that this was all propaganda, even turned their backs on me, accusing me of being a CCP agent (what a joke !). In short, I am impatiently awaiting the day when I can discover this wonderful country, which calls me deep within me in a way that I cannot explain, as if, internally, it is there that I should have been born. Best regards, and thank you again for sharing your experiences here.

I hate when people say "China stole our jobs" when it was America's wealthy/Corporations that MOVED their industrial base overseas(China/Others). China is taking it's proper historical position in the world (China and India were the largest empires for 1000+ yrs).

There are always some media people on the Internet who want to criticize or even discredit China. Laoghy86 is just one of them, and is not professional or authoritative. Because the true authority belongs to Voice of America (Chinese Channel), which has long been responsible for criticizing the Chinese government. But it is very ironic that China did not decline due to such criticism, including smearing. Instead, it has developed into the world's second largest economy and is leading the global trend in areas such as 5G telecommunications, electric vehicles, photovoltaic industry, and infrastructure construction. According to the Chinese government, China welcomes all constructive criticism and suggestions with good intentions, but opposes all smear and false accusations against China and will not care. The Chinese government has its own construction goals and policy standards for governing the country! This is the truth!

Sociopaths, Psycopaths, and the Israeli/Zionist government are the only ones who control the US government (President, Congress). In America we ask why there are so many homeless, not enough housing, healthcare is so expensive, why our infrastructure is like a third world country and our leaders say "IT'S YOUR PROBLEM...WE NEED MORE MONEY FOR THE MILITARY...WE CAN'T LET RUSSIA AND CHINA WIN..." Our leaders don't care about the American people's welfare. If you get cancer and you are poor, they tell you go to your church for help. He speaks glowingly of China. There are no stories of administrative interference yet. Over time his account diverged so much from "Serpentza's". So I paid special attention to Serpentza and others, and in balance decided not to continue following them. But China is way too crowded for me. My curiosity wonders how any of our Western governments would cope with way more than a BILLION citizens to administer? To my view, none of our governments are coping with what they have got. China is a "builder" and the rest of us like picking wars around the globe instead of serving our citizens. Sadly I am too old to come to China to find out for myself. Wish I could though.

The video 'How China is quietly making land grabs' is simply not true. MIT political scientist Fravel Taylor has studied on the subject and has concluded that the PRC is not a land grabber but had conceded vast amounts of land to its neighbors. He published his findings in his book "Strong Borders, Secure Nation: Cooperation and Conflict in China's Territorial Disputes". Fravel Taylor is a China hawk by the way. There is another article "Settlements and Disputes: China's Approach to Territorial Issues" by Maxwell, Neville (2006) also concluded the PRC is not a land grabber.
But China does have a large territorial dispute with India concerning an area twice the size of Taiwan which the PRC called 'South Tibet' and India called 'Arunachal Pradesh'. Here is how that territorial dispute occurred.
As late as the 1940s, after World War II, the flag of the Republic of China (nowadays usually known as Taiwan) was flying high in Tawang, South Tibet. Today, the Indian flag is flying there. So what had happened?
On August 14th, 1947, Nehru gave his famous 'Tryst with Destiny' speech, and with that, a country that historically did not exist suddenly showed up on China's doorstep. India is similar to South Africa, a country that came into existence only because the colonialists created the country and subsequently and willingly relinquished its power to the indigenous people it once subjugated. When Nelson Mandela was sworn in as the first president of the new South Africa in 1993, the new country was already a first-world country in many areas. Similarly, when Nehru was sworn in as India's first prime minister, its railway system was the envy of the whole of Asia. If the British had never landed in India, the subcontinent today would comprise thousands of fiefdoms, often at each other's throats. 1947 was the time of pre-Communist China (the Republic of China, nowadays usually referred to as Taiwan), and India continued the expansionist policy of the British Raj and continued the land incursion. Nationalist China (pre-Communist Republic of China) had been sending repeated diplomatic protests to the then-Indian Nehru government. However, schooled by the British on how to deal with these nuisances, these diplomatic protests were duly ignored. In fact, one of the last acts of the Republic of China as the government of the mainland before retreating to Taiwan when its defeat was imminent was to send yet another diplomatic protest to India of its territorial intrusion.
When the Communists took control of the mainland after the Nationalist government had relocated to Taiwan, India was one of the earliest nations to recognize Communist China and, in one fell swoop, shut out the diplomatic channel the ROC used to deliver its diplomatic protests. India's land incursion continued, but Communist China ceased all diplomatic protests. In February 1951, three and a half years after the British Raj had left the subcontinent, India finally trekked up to Tawang, South Tibet, expelled the officials posted there from Lhasa, and annexed it. Tawang is the last major Tibetan frontier town. It is the birthplace of the Sixth Dalai Lama and home to the four-hundred-year-old Tawang Monastery. Historically, the Tawang Monastery has been a central government-friendly monastery. This means the news of India's invasion and annexation should have arrived in Beijing within a few days at the latest. Unsurprisingly, the Tibetan Lhasa authority vehemently protested, as did the Republic of China (by then had already retreated to Taiwan), but curiously, Communist China made no noise.
Communist China's baffling silence must have greatly emboldened India as it continued to push northward into China, eventually precipitating the one-month-long 1962 India-China war. In the run-up to the 1962 war, Zhou En Lai went to New Dehli pleading to Nehru to take what it had stolen (South Tibet) and fix the boundary along the MacMahon alignment (It was termed the MacMahon alignment and not the MacMahon line because the so-called MacMahon line is a diplomatic forgery and is not recognized by either Communist China or Nationalist China (Republic of China)) but the offer was rejected by India. Zhou En Lai later remarked to a Sri Lankan politician that he had never met a person as arrogant as Nehru. Coming from Zhou, who met a lot of Western statesmen, including the incident where Foster refused to handshake with Zhou, it says a lot. It is obvious that Communist China was bending backward, trying not to pick a fight with India, but Nehru saw Zhou's mission to New Delhi as a sign of submission. After all, India has already gobbled up South Tibet (an area twice the size of Taiwan) with zero protest and zero resistance, so why should India listen to China now? Besides, India also wants Aksai Chin, which is another ridiculous land claim. In 1962, Nehru announced in the Indian parliament that he would 'throw the Chinese out of Indian territory.' Finally, China had enough and launched a one-month war on India in October 1962. India was quickly defeated, but the war didn't end with any resolution. In 1987, India made South Tibet a state and renamed it the so-called Arunachal Pradesh. The Republic of China (Taiwan) once again issued a statement strongly condemning India.
Here is an excerpt of the statement put out by the Republic of China (usually referred to as Taiwan nowadays):
"In regard to the issue of the Indian government's illegal occupation of our country's territory and the establishment of the so-called 'Arunachal Pradesh,' the foreign ministry of the Republic of China issued the following announcement at midnight:
India's illegal occupation of our country's territory has been repeatedly stated by the government of the Republic of China as something it will not recognize. Recently, the Indian Congress unilaterally passed the establishment of 'Arunachal Pradesh' to the south of the so-called McMahon Line. The Indian government also made it a state. The government of the Republic of China once again solemnly proclaims that the government of India intends to legitimize its illegal occupation of Chinese territory. The government of the Republic of China regards this as illegal, void, and absolutely not recognized."
The territorial dispute festers to this day, and India is occupying South Tibet, a land that has never even set foot by the people in the Indian subcontinent in the whole of human history until it was annexed by India.

If China is so good, why do the Uyghurs need to live in exile in Türkiye?
If China is so good, why do Hong Kong people need to live in exile in the UK and Canada?
If China is so good, why does Falun Gong need to be exiled around the world?
If China is so good, why does China need to threaten Taiwan's reunification? Taiwanese people should be very happy to be reunited with China.
