- We challenged chefs of three different levels - an amateur, a home cook and a professional chef - to make their versions of an ice cream sundae. And then we brought in a food scientist to review their work. Which sundae was the best?

Level 2 will always be the best out of the three. They’re more experienced than level 1. But loves to keep is simplistic compared to level 3. I’ll go with whatever a level 2 would make any day
I would usually, but there is the one level two chef who uses organic stuff and really strange ingredients and I wouldn’t eat hers. She really messed up the scrambled eggs

Level 3: it’s so rich, it’s so light, the tartness of the passion fruit really compliments the sweetness of the banana, and the creamy sauce goes well with the tartness and the sweetness.
The level 1 guy made what us college students call, "a struggle meal."
It's a midterm pick-me-up snack.

this is probably one of the only episodes where there are clear differences between the levels's finished products
By the time Beth and Rory are done with their sundaes, Stephen's already taking a nap on the couch in front of the TV.
Level 3 chefs may be more professionally trained, but the Level 2 chefs are ALWAYS more personal and authentic. Beth and Lorenzo are my favorites.

The level 1 chef is like me having a breakdown and mixing everything delicious I can find in sight together. Level 2 is an actual sundae and level 3 is a unique gelato with sauce but isn’t recognisable as a sundae.

It's not about looks, it's about taste you incel. lvl 2 chef looks and taste as any generic sundae you can get any time and anywhere if dine out regularly. Meanwhile lvl 3 chef is an umami bomb which is only available to high end restaurants where you pay 200 bucks for a full course.

Honestly, I think halfway melted ice cream is friggin delicious. Think about it, it’s not too rock solid nor not too cold to where if you’re like me with sensitive teeth, your teeth will freeze like the depths of Antarctica. Plus since it’s melting it has that creaminess.
