Dunbar is the star of this tour. The van is great, don't get me wrong, but he's just such an adorable pupper!!
My fave thing in this entire video starts happening at 11:22 You can almost see his best friends thought process. (LOL) "Kisses...NOW??....in fwont of camewa??!." These two love their life 😍😎🍁
He's done a really thoughtful design, most impressed with his attitude also. Dogs know how to choose the right human☺

What a well thought out design! I love the warning he gets on his phone alerting him that it’s getting too hot for Dunbar. This is a really great design.
Dave has a gorgeous smile. And if it’s possible, his face lights up even more when talking or petting (whatever) Dunbar. Clearly they’re a perfect match!
I had to watch the video twice, because the first time i was completely enamored with the dog.

Love the layout! I would go easy on the kitchen's space and build an actual shower/toilet space. Other than that everything is perfect.
I just love Dunbar. He's so loved and sweet. Oh yeah, the van is nice as well...lol. The solar system is a dream. Love how you built the ac in a cabinet in a window set up. Brilliant!!! Beautiful blue inside as well. Like a violet blue. Just lovely. Awesome job!!! Safe travels.

I like that he told how long it took to PLAN and build, and how much it cost. People think how great, let's get a van and throw some stuff together and go! Which is fine if you're doing weekend camping, but THIS is for the long haul! This is for day in, day out. Month after month. For realsies. Great color choices too!

Could you include how people manage to live like this, please? I always see these amazing tiny houses and wonder how the people are working and managing to live like this? How much does it cost each month and how did they pay for their build? That is what I really want to know and would be a big help in determining if this is possible for me. Thank you!

That dog is a very sad, lonely and depressed dog. Dogs like to be around other dogs, not stuck with humans. Poor thing.

Wow! Really love what went into this, with the all of the slide outs and the bed/beds situation. The water tank and propane, fan vent, a/c, and booster! Love the insulating curtain big time, it's amazing the difference that curtain can make. 😃

He did a really nice job there. I have to agree if you're not mechanically inclined and you might as well get something you can rely on. I like the setup he's got a nice dog too.
I think it's smart to buy a van new. Bigger up front investment, but the longevity will help make the rest of the build worth it. No one seems to talk about what happens to your house when the van breaks down or goes caput!

Oh my goodness! My biggest worry when I started planning was my doggies.... what if there is a power outage and it’s hot outside! How will I know? A big house takes a while before it gets miserably hot but a van, bus, RV, or tiny home would heat up much quicker. My pups are more important to me than any material possession so I have been a little stressed how I was going to make it all work SAFELY! Now I know there are gadgets to help with that! Thank you! 🐶🐶🐶

Very expensive but very cool project! :) thank you! and I'm glad that guy's having fun with living the life he wants to! I always wonder what people living on the road really do with their composting toilet waste... both the liquids and the solids, that is in an environmentally compassionate and integritous manner. I've seen a lot of living on the road videos and it looks like a lot of time people just pour out their grey water out in blm or forest land, which I know isn't from toilet but still I think even that is concerning because the grey water in the tank can have high bacteria count... I appreciate ant honest feedback about this issue...

Love the doggy temp alarm. Must be fun to me with people who don't mind their own damn business. And are all: that's so wrong to leave your pet in the car, I'm telling authorities. You can just show them your system and say, BACK OFF, I GOT IT HANDLED

Easy...search....Solar AC...….Realise he has about $8000 in panels controllers and Lithium batteries
I admire people who build stuff, buy I really have to wonder, some of these people spend MORE than what a really nice class C would have cost them.
This definitely has all the necessities but a little too small for me. That curtain with thinsulate is a great idea. Does he work remotely or live off his website? Are there some parts of van life that just can't be electric? I was surprised that with the solar panels he needs propane at all. And nervous that it is under the van where a rock popping up could puncture it.

I love your van. You might have been better off going with 600 watts of Rick solar poly, 300 amps of lithium, and just springing for a 3 to 5 grand cruse n comfort 12 volt ac.
