Dr. Mandell, I cannot thank you enough my friend. After 7 years of fibromyalgia hell which developed after a car crash I had in 2015, I am finally shedding the last few bits of it's evil wrath. I had ignored all symptoms and was in complete denial for the last few years, but working long hours in finance in your mid 20s can destroy you. I am now 33 and being so positive instead of wanting the years back, and that's my final indicator that I have kicked it to the curb. No more panic attacks and thinking all of the small things are huge. I had every symptom plus many more. As more time went on, I developed a shoulder impingement, and my SI joint became displaced. Trigger fingers in both hands and extreme tightness everywhere. Awful sinuses and terrible nasal pain, extreme tooth aches, lack of hunger, diarrhea, vomiting, hemmerhoids, bunions ingrown toenails, TMJ, closed throat, forward head posture irregular breathing, excruciating headaches almost daily, neck aches, reduced socialness and always grouchy for no reason. Made excuses for not being able to go somewhere and then stayed at home alone and lay around which just caused more pain. would stretch and stretch but no relief. I had watched almost all of your videos for other posture related and breathing issues and they were all a great help. Step by step I worked on all that I could. The worst part of all of this was I could barely breathe and I was always dizzy. Thought I almost died from choking on water and occasionally vomit since I could not stomach much. The worse part of this was breathing and I realized that the key to beating all of this was to first wake the diaphragm back up since it is attached to many of the large muscle groups. I figured this out a few weeks ago at the tail end of my 4 month journey to fight it. Then the AMAZING days started happening. More energy and less negativity it's all amazing. Can't believe how long I've been suffocating my body but now I'm seeing hearing tasting feeling life in 4K! It's a dream! The more I watched your videos and the more I worked on blow strength especially the healthier I got and the taller I stood. I'm still getting a little taller today at the tail end of it's defeat! Life was so dark looking back now and it's so amazing to just be alive! Would love to talk to you further about this if you ever have time. I feel like I have defied the odds and can now do anything I want in life! I feel wiser and stronger than ever and it happens so fast, u just need to FIGHT HARD! For anyone else suffering out there, make sure u work the diaphragm. It's A BIG step to help loosen everything else up. Then hit those trigger points and keep breathing! The points should start tightening a lot slower after you've stretched them out post diaphragm work. Hold good posture as much as you can and blow out while stretching or working trigger points with your fingers. I quit my job in December, worked on this every single day. In the beginning it was so hard and spent every bit of energy I had which was not much. Even if I did one exercise and was exhausted I made myself fight to do another and another. Make yourself put beating this first before anything. It's extremely hard and emotional but YOU CAN DO IT! THIS AWFUL SYNDROME IS BEATABLE! Just because most people don't beat it, don't believe anyone out there that says it's not beatable! I didn't know I had fibromyalgia until about a week ago, maybe it's good that I didn't because most say there isn't a cure. Then I found Dr mandell and he helped save my life. I knew that physical activity would save my life. I didn't want to lose my girlfriend and thank God she hung in there with me while I was losing my mind and body. Now I have so much energy and I feel amazing! Breathing is beautiful! Can't stop loving everything and my new life! Thank you again Dr. Mandell! With your help I have built my health education in a huge way and I'm so excited for a new healthy future! EVERYONE, LIFE IS A GIFT, don't ever stop fighting to keep that gift as healthy and happy as possible!!!!!!
Yea, they never believe it until they actually get it and they cannot understand it. We hear all of this advice from people who don't even have it. I have found others who do have it and have managed to live with it. They share their daily routines and I've learned many ways to help myself but it NEVER goes away...NEVER.
@@SometimeAgo65 according to this info, you can't just get it like a disease. It is a syndrome. Let's say you have a chronic pain from something for a long time and it affects your entire body and brain. Every injury or micro trauma in your body creates some kind of inflommation. So according to that your body is unable to handle it due the constant stress and cortisone level. So you may be cured if you treat the thing what is causing it, how that happened. In other theory again, your brain itself caused it
@@ansaksa Yes, they have several different theories out there in the medical world. None are proven, nothing has cured mine but it could be because of my medical team. They're not what I would call specialists on Fibromyalgia Syndrome.
Thank you for spending your precious time to speak out about this condition and help the sufferers. 🙏 Most doctors are just not educated enough and aren’t bothered in finding out. It took me about 7-8 years of pain and surmising from doctors before I was diagnosed with fibromyalgia. It’s diabolical. Years ago doctors became doctors as they felt they had a calling. They don’t have time for women that are waiting for a diagnosis or struggling through the menopause either. Thank you again. You’re a very kind soul. ❤️🙏🥰 From an Irish ☘️ woman in England xxx
This is what I needed man . Doctors literally keep brushing me off and have no clue in how to treat me . I'm going to try my best to be stress free and eat healthy . Good health is better then drugs and quick dopamine rushes ...
I was diagnosed in 1992, at the same time, same doctor said I have Hypothyroidism, started me on synthroid...I can tell when its going to rain...as soon as it starts coming down, I feel relief... I'm on the vicious pain/fatigue cycle for years. But, when I feel good, get outta my way, I'll spend all that good time cleaning and catching up till the cycle starts again...I can't get going in the morning until I shower in hot water and stretch...massage does help, finding someone who knows how, is hard. Thank you for a informative video👍
I have been suffering with Fibromyalgia or whatever for 3 years-pure tortutre. My husband found your channel and you have helped us more in less than a week than all the doctors we have seen in 3 years. Thank you! God Bless you for what you do!
Dear Doc, I must say that I have learned more from You than all of the MD's that I have seen in the last 30 yrs! Bless your Generous Heart and Thank You for sharing your extensive knowledge and experience!! With Love and Good Vibes, Dyane
I will always love you Dr. MANDEL. I was a patient of yours many years ago. I tell you I havent found a Doctor like yourself. I have been following your videos and appreciate you so much. I've been diagnosed with frybromilga and this video will surely help me feel better. Blessings to you. Your a great man.
'A Group of symptoms that falls under a Syndrome'...The BEST DESCRIPTION of FIBROMYALGIA I have ever heard of. Thank you Doctor for highlighting the importance of misdiagnosis of this condition...The same applies for IBS.👌👌
Great advice Dr. Mandell. I tried pain management for 5 years - oh, all the terrible prescriptions I tried. Finally, I gave that up. Now I go to a Functional Medicine doctor, and life is so much better and healthy by following this type of advise. Thanks!
I love Dr. Mandell for a few reasons ... one is that his advise can be extremely helpful and two is that he is sincere wanting to be of service to those that are suffering. Thank you Dr. Mandell.
I have CFS and fibromyalgia and Epstein barr and I have every symptom on your list and I must commend you because you are on point on every detail about this painful dissorder. Wish I knew about this 35years ago. Thanks for your work and for finally announcing to the world that this is very real and we're not crazy about how we feel. The worst feeling is when you explain your symptom and they think it petty or overboard. And yes , anyone would lead themselves to depression especially when the many physicians out there think you making it up. If only they were in my shoes so they can experience it even one day then it would be worth every pain we go through. Hope many drs pay more attention to us.
Thank you, I was diagnosed with celiac disease and have been for 6 months, going gluten free has helped a lot of my pain in my body!! Thank you for the information
I have had pain & psoriasis for much of my adult life, changes to my spiritual health has made the world of difference! Treat yourself well, well being is key. Thank you for your knowledge and sharing truths, you are just wonderful. Thank you!
Thank you so much for this video and information. My head was nodding like a nodding toy when listening to your video, I absolutely relate to everything you have said. I have been suffering with fibromyalgia for 7 years now and I am on a lot of medication for it. The advice you give is invaluable, so thank you for sharing it. It helps tremendously!!
Excellent presentation on Fibromyalgia. It is a syndrome that you can control by diet modification, ADLs, intake of supplements, better sleep, decreased emotional triggers and exercise.
43 years of fibromyalgia here! I am now 64 years old. Still don't have a Dr that knows how to tell me what I need to do. I have researched and researched. At one time they seemed to think that a lot of people developed this after having a severe flu (in which I did). I am on gabapentin, cymbalta, I want to throw it all out! I have emphysema, degenerative disc disease, high blood pressure. Going to start on the AVC! I have to take a replacement thyroid medication everyday. I have learned more from research than any dr.
You have provided me with hope. I dislike my doctor a lot, she says I have fibromyalgia, but I seriously disagree. Whatever I tell her, it circles back to fibromyalgia. For example, prior to Jan 25, 2019, I never experienced sharp pains in my wrist, thumbs are sore, neck and shoulder fatigue, overall spasms, and temperature discomfort, meaning the room can be a steady temperature but suddenly I am cold, or warm or even hot. I was T boned on Jan 25. I have 2 bulges in my neck. So as I told my doc about these things as a result of the car accident, she says let's look at the facts, you have fibromyalgia. So I decided that now I will do my own treatments, based off herbal medicine, and supplements.
Unfortunately you can develope fibromyalgia from having an accident! Iv been a sufferer for around 30years and have experienced all your symptoms! At the start of mine I didn't believe I had it either and thought its just a blip and I will be back to work running my business as usual but no I only got worse. I'm really sad for you my friend but I do think too that you have fibromyalgia. If you need to vent or just talk about your symptoms with someone who knows and understands what your going through I'm here for you. Any time! It's a lonely depressing existence 😔 sending you gentle hugs and much love from me Nikkie xx
Dr.Mandell, you are by far the best at explaining how to deal with this without meds. I went off all meds 6 years ago. It was the best decision I've ever made. Exercise and diet are key to managing the symptoms. Thank you for this, and for your understanding of this syndrome ❤😊
I have Fibromyalja from a traumatic accident years ago. Thru exercise heat vibrating full body heat massage pads, car message heat pads, light weight cook wear. My 2 oldest sons took care of me. Nathan worked 1 week on 1 week off. The men would cook double portions freeze meals so I could microwave for the 1 week work. Lots of good nutrition foods. Today its located in my upper front legs. Thank you Dr. Mandell. I was diagnosed with from another wonderful Doctor. This vedio helps me understand why my legs so weak it exhausts me. God bless you!
I'm sick of being in pain. Painkillers making me feel worse most definitely. I've already changed my diet and adding magnesium etc through foods and supplements. Thankyou. It was you that helped me understand foods, vitamins, etc and how to use them. Detailed and clear fabulous information that's practical. GodBless you. 🙏💖
You are an amazing person! Thank you for your advices. I work in a pharmacy as an assistant and I see the amount of medication people are on. There are two problems, first doctors are not willing to spend time with the patient and be advisable on alternative ways, for certain conditions, and secondly patients want the magical pill that cures everything and they can continue their unhealthy lifestyle. I'm ever so grateful for your videos, which I will share with the pharmacists and the colleagues, I work with.
My daughter-in-law is a pharmacist, and she would have an attitude if she knew what all I was taking! She deals with alot of abusers of meds, so no matter if you abuse or not, you get a label. The Er nurse stuck a dopehead label on my then bf when he had chipped a vertebrae, but when I told her his Dad is a doctor, she was kissing his ass all over!
Ive suffered from it for 20years. They say now it is related to inflammation in gliacells in brain which effect the central nervous system. There are also made connection to autoimmune illnesses like addisons ect.
Lyme Disease is a huge cause of fibromyalgia, fibromyalgia is list of symptoms not the cause. Lyme causes a vast list of symptoms. When doctors get tired of looking for the cause they say you have fibromyalgia. This is not a diagnosis, this is a group of symptoms and they have a bunch of expensive and worthless drugs for you. This video has good advice.
Kathleen Gustafson Lyme disease or EDS can be the cause of fibromyalgia. Doctors give a wrong diagnosis, as you said. EDS, Ehler-Danlos syndrome, is a genetical disease/syndrome which causes collagen to be not normal. One can look for information on TH-cam. Some TH-camrs who have EDS explain it very well. Hope this can help someone to get the right diagnosis and some helpful treatment.
Kathleen Gustafson At the library please pick up Medical Medium by Anthony William. His info on this diagnosis and so many others goes to the root causes, and what foods or supplements will help or hurt the body.
hi dr mandell I have followed your advice on magnesium citrate with k2 and high dose vit d for 3 wks and want to say a big grateful thankyou because for the first time in years I feel great, wonderful, fabulous and happy. I have /had ;) ibs,cpd,cfs,..me/cfs, fibromyalgia, copd diagnosis from gp s consultants rhumatologists you name it, I was ran down by a car at 16 and then became a hairdresser, after 20 yrs hairdressing and barbering I developed, repetative strain, thoratic outlet syndrome, cervical spondilitus, dequrvin synovitis, bursitis, frozen shoulder, neck displacement, frozen neck and auto immune disease, for 2 years unable walk or to function I felt so much pain and illness that I looked into the protocol for dignitas in Switzerland. That was then, this is now.... I have completely changed my life and I have to show my gratitude to you and your unknown part in my recovery your videos have had on my pain levels your stretching and nerve manipulation videos coupled with posture exercise and awareness have changed my mobility and has greatly improved pain levels your suppliment advice and self education resourses coupled with my own independant research has given me energy, immunity, strength, motivation, mobility and im in control and winning...I'm kicking fibromyalgia s ass I'm shareing to let the other sufferers know you can do it if you commit to research, dicipline and change and most importantly have hope. I learnt from a retired anethiesist turned homeopath! that anesetics contain heavy metals that stay in the body 20+ years so do vaccines. then for me 20+ years of heavy chemical contact with perms, colours, sprays. I live in the countryside surrounded by fields but not necessarily healthy as much exposure to pesticides and heavy ammonia from intensive chicken farms, as kids we played jumping over the sheep dips! and broke thermometers and handled the mercury! stupid kids we were. I discovered me/cfs patients have detoxification issues in illiminating toxins. I illiminated metals (sole, spirulena, kelp, matcha tea). I illiminated any chance of parasites (damaceous earth. I fed my immune system and mitrochondria with macro nutrients ( I spent a year juicing breakfast and lunch adding anti inflammatory ginger and turmeric and normal meal for tea) now I juice occasionally or when I feel a flare is near I followed dr mandell videos for physio, I do 10 symbols of longetivity qigong morning and night as this is movement meditation, physio, healing and wisdom all wrapped into 1. The most effective key to reducing inflammation for me was going gluten free this got rid of anxiety depression and ibs. stomach pains and burning ide gotten so used to I only realised how bad when my midriff became flat unbloated and at ease. Dr Mandell s suppliment info is amazing Magnesium saved my life truly, no more beta blockers, anatriptalyn, diazipam, no naproxin ( this caused stomached bleeds in my partner after being on them for spinal surgery) no anti depressants just magnesium, k2, and vit d3 taken with gluten free multi seed bread, coconut oil, and honey in the morning I take hawthorn berrie suppliment for circulation turmeric capsules 400 mg for inflammation 1000mg vit c, Coq10 200mg for brain fog and mitrochondria health, zinc 15 mg, eat omega rich and vit b rich foods, macca powder stirred into porridge or capsules some days cocao powder capsules for feel good happy zone :) I'm no expert but wanted to share my gratitude to dr mandell and share hope because I never thought a 1 feel good day would ever be possible I've had a few feel good weeks now and learning and adding to this new concious awareness of listening to my body my spirit and soul and following gods good guidance of health and happiness that is ever ones birth right. I made a plea to god to help me and show me the way and he has shown me if you choose there too is nothing he cannot heal through us within us and around us if we just ask. The right guidance just turns up and smacks us in the face through his helpers such as Dr mandell thankyou x
Joolze beachey Thank you for commenting , hairdressing is VERY hard on the body and so are the chemicals. Thank you for the information I have a messed up neck too my bones are disintegrating at the base of my neck and had a bed Dental incident and no curvature in my spine from a horrible accident when I was three I have chronic head and neck pain and inflammation to my nervous system special with the barometric pressure I burn and burn and gained 30 lbs I guess from cortisol from the inflammation I have chronic fatigue syndrome ever since I had a fever of 106 your information I think overly help and the doctor stretches your right they do help a lot tremendously I have occipital neuralgia I hope you keep.getting better. 💥✨💫
Sheri Hartshorn hi yes I'm currently useing phi naturals magnesium citrate @400mg and k2 100mcg there are lots of good choices on amazon I also take a 375 mg magnesium oxide about 3 in the afternoon and this is just a cheep tesco brand I find it gives an energy top up in the afternoon, I also bathe twice a week in a hot bath with epsom salts and sleep amazing those nights I get that bulk in 5kg tub from amazon, recently I've also added a new suppliment Eucommia and the energy results have been amazing hope this helps sheri other suppliments I take are omega 3 fish oil high dose 2000mg (nutrizing) coq10 200mg (swanson ultra) vitamin D3 5000iu (hercules health) 1000mg kelp,(simply suppliments) zinc 15 mg (tesco) and 5-htp for anxiety and depression which flares up with constant pain and insomnia, I tend to shop around for offers and what I can afford at the time, as I'm sure you know this illness really damages earning capacity but I just researched each symptom and solution i started with energy then immunity, inflammation, pain ect and added a suppliment or two a month till I had it just right for results, good luck I truly wish you the best of health.... juicing really helps too, good luck there is hope for this awful illness x p's gluten free diet, no processed foods ( when I have a naughty I take an extra omega 3 as it counter acts omega 6 processed inflammation causing foods then I can enjoy a guilt free treat ;) and loads of spinach, kale and bok choi in cooking with added herb such as garlic, turmeric, Chinese 5 spice ....and still learning all the time sorry for the essay.

Magnesium Malate alone turned my health around. I live a good life now and it's been a few years since I've been "cured". Don't wait for the doctors to figure it out. I waited two decades and it gets progressively worse (though slowly) the longer you wait. Now I'm just getting the posture thing right because I do so much desk work... good information, Dr. Mandell. Hopefully people will take some of your advice. Only thing I will add, if you goes the Magnesium route, start slow and go with something like malate/chelated that will absorb better. Epsom salts are your friend. Of course, many people with fibro are familiar with hot salt bathes. The reason it works is because of Magnesium. You can get a magnesium spray (basically epsom salt dissolved), and supposedly through skin is the fastest way to get the Magnesium into your muscle. You can take supplements, but it will take a few months. In my case, I had super loose bowels in the beginning that made me feel quite ill, but I adjusted by starting slower... I ended up taking 1275mg/daily, sometimes more to get to where I needed to be. My body could not have enough... then months down the line, I started to feel better and noticed my bowels were looser (the telltale green-ish stools). I guess my system had finally had enough... all I can say is be your own advocate, be careful when starting anything new. Keep everything (including diet) as consistent as possible so you can track any changes.
I WISH THAT I LIVE NEAR YOU...JUST READING YOUR COMMENT GIVE ME FIBROMYALGIA SUFFERER SINCE 1995...NO QUALITY OF LIFE ..67 YO RETIRED NURSE AFTER 35 YRS...NO RETIREMENT JUST SS INCOME...NOT COMPLAINING IM THANKFUL...I HAVE MAGNESIUM BUT IT SAYS MAGNESIUM OXIDE.. NO RELIEF...THANK YOU FOR YOUR INFORMATION...IM IN A FLAREUP NOW...LORD GOD HELP US ALL...
I love you for being honest with the public and Not about pharmaceutical drugs and teaching the people how to take care of themselves rather then another medication Thank You!!!! # the pain is real
Yes, this is true. Just keep in mind that most of the times the symptoms come back couple of months after eliminating food groups. This means that the source of pain is "deeper". Please, don't take me wrong. Don't want to cut your wings. Just sharing my experience. (edit: By the way, great video Doc)
Ham AlA My story......I suffered with pain all over my body from my eyelids to my toes.....some of my complaints were flu-like symptoms, burning and tingling in my nerves, feeling as though I had been poisoned, extreme stiffness in my joints, and many more symptoms. I was in a doctor's office at least every other week. After seeing numerous doctors, ER visits, blood work, and X-rays, the answer was always we don't know what is causing your pain or either fibromyalgia. My last hope was the Rheumatologist, after his examination, and more testing, his answer was the same as my primary doctor's.... fibromyalgia. After getting extremely sick one evening(although always in pain, there were days when it was unbearable) I decided to google "what makes fibromyalgia symptoms worse?"....An article called "The Top Ten Food Allergies" popped up. I eliminated every one of them, eating no processed foods at all, because I wanted to control the ingredients; within one week, the symptoms were gone. Now I had to slowly introduce them back into my system one at a time. I started with eggs, no response, then I had a piece of cake at a birthday party, the next morning I was in soooo much pain, even more so than before. I could hardly walk because of severe stiffness in my back and my legs; I had to take a week of work, and walk with a cane. That's how I found out I had a gluten intolerance. I had several flare ups in the first year of finding out, because of either cross contamination, or because of using a product that contained gluten(wheat),example beauty products, but 3 1/2 years later I still feel great!! Basically it was the extreme inflammation all over my body that was causing the pain. When I told my primary doctor this three years ago, he said no way, food could not be the source of my pain, however recently I went to see him because of flu like symptoms, he asked if I had eaten any gluten??? Hmm, looks like someone has been educated in the last three years!! His speculations were actually correct...cross contamination at a local deli. Live and learn. Lol. Although not nearly as severe as the gluten intolerance, I do also have some reactions to other foods like dairy and onions, which can cause eczema, heartburn, or a stomachache, so I now follow a low FODMAP diet given to me by my gastroenterologist. I had to learn the hard way, but to anyone else out there who is still suffering, I would suggest going to a doctor who specializes in functional medicine to get tested for food allergies or intolerances. I'm 48 and feel better than I did at 30!
I'm one of the rare people that have had it most my life. Just because I have a bad pain day, doesn't necessarily make for a bad day. I have been watching what I eat, staying active and luv the sun for countering my physical pain by the actual warmth or vitamin D. I've taken all the right foods at the right times and stayed (till just lately) fit, meditate. Being not diagnose with fibromyalgia was not what I wanted. So there are still days where it hurts too much, then I'm hungover from the battle. I have a full life and have a rich life!
I do all these things and yeah, it's gotten better but it hasn't gone away. It's not just about eating right, I know it has to do with all that but it breaks my heart that all advices say the same "eat right and exercise" and if you don't get cured then no one believes you're doing it.
BeauMeztli if you have alot of sexual release that might be bad too. I abstained for 30 days and had way more energy. Also i take alot of vitamin d like 10000 ies a day or however you say that. Also different energy sources for the week. Eg day one coffee day 2 green tea 3 coldbath but not heartattack cold day 4 45 min jog etc
Thank you Dr. Mandel I am grateful for all the wonderful information you give from the heart ❤. I have seen several doctors and specialists but I finally was diagnosed in 2020 with fibromyalgia. I tell you it’s no fun. The inflammation, tenderness in my muscles and joints and trying to find foods that would relieve me. The medication or prescriptions are temporary. But I’m going to push through this and reverse fibromyalgia in Jesus name. Thank again. ❤🥰🔥💯
Dr Doctor you are correct in so many ways and the advice you have given I have used to good effect. I have suffered from fibromyalgia for 26 years and the main cause is stress and having a conscions. And today I have had the worst day in my life the pain is terrible. It does kill you if not physically it does mentally my life has stopped from the day I began this awful fibromyalgia. I have a very narcassitic 95 year old parent who I love dearly but after my visits the fibromyalgia starts up and try as I might I can’t stop it.my eyes are affected they hurt and are extremely dry. People say withdraw from the narcassit but when you are the only family they have and they are old and on their own what can you do but support them. I write this just in case someone else is going through the same as myself.
I very much believe too many people get misdiagnosed all the time. My own sister is fully active and only ever complains about her back, yet I'm bedbound. It doesn't make sense. The only time I've been without pain was when I was.pregnant with my daughter nearly six years old. Can't do any if my hobbies anymore because even my fingers joints are so bad. Now I can't make hats for the homeless anymore and my heart aches so much. I'm 37 years of and my 51 year old husband has to look after me. Oh Dr, feel so completely useless from it all. I just want to be a great mum and wife x
I was diagnosed with fibromyalgia 15 years ago. I've never really accepted that diagnosis. I had a neck injury, (a result from a dentist). Doctors won't listen to me. Ever since that incident my health has declined. I am vegetarian, don't drink much alcohol except maybe at Christmas and only a glass of wine as I don't have the taste for it. I meditate, practice Qigong, with Lohan patting and take vitamin supplements as well. I do also have osteoarthritis which doesn't cause as much of a problem as my neck thing. Many women I know have problems with their neck. PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE could you do some research into the effects of NECK & SPINE injuries and how many people have that in common who have been diagnosed with fibromyalgia. Thank you. Love your you tube channel. You've helped me with neuropathy vitamin advice.🕉🕉🕉
More than twenty i have been keeping strong and my faith helps me my small circle of nearest and dearest you speak sense. I am doing the best i can i know all the medication is not good for me. And i pray that i dont get anymore illness because of this. My pains are intense i start to have headache. Fibro fog. I just want it to calm down and leave my body but it will not. My hands hurt my two thumbs at the top of both of them i cant hold my mobile phone it hurts like mad hands free is what i have to do. This illness takes over every inch of your daily life. But i am keeping grounded. And i will not silence myself because its real and i want to share my story and help others and the same time i want to hear from other suffers. We are all gods people. We should live a good life a happy life because that is what god intended for all of us all over the world. I am so tired of all the illnesses that are harming good and beautiful human beings. I lack d and i try to eat healthy. But today prices of food drink everything cost. The rich shall be rich and the poor shall be poorer. Its the truth the poor people are the ones that feel it in this life. We all should live comfortable. We all should be able to buy proper food so we are healthy. But it does not always work that way. Life has too much pressure on people. God bless you and please find a cure for all the people all over the world thats in the struggle for their health with chronic pains and all the other illnesses pray for you all.
Thank you very much Dr.Mendel. "It is not a disease it is a syndrome" that makes me relief. I really love your videos. I got a Fibromiyalgia syndrome and your videos motivate me very well. God bless you Doc🙏
I have taken gabapentin and antidepressants neither helped. Am taking the supplements u mentioned for 6 yrs and myofascial massages, eat organics as much as I can. Am doing quite well . Great tips.
Thank you Dr. Mandela for this very informative lecture. I will follow your advice and begin a new way to hopefully find some relief. I was very moved by your eloquent statement that you were trying to help people keep the health of their livers and kidneys. Unfortunately I am having problems with both now. Take care and God Bless you...
You speak the truth Dr!💖 I definitely recommend what you've listed; meditation, positive thinking and relaxation. Being in an anxious state for too long reconditioned the brain to send pain signals. I had to recondition my mind telling my body that the pain isn't real. Plus improving my posture and diet and moving more really helped. Was diagnosed in 2009 took Lyrica and hydrochloroquine for 3 months they took the edge off but lifestyle is what saved me. Keep up your great work 😊
Ehh he did me too at first but I understand what he’s getting at. He’s a chiropractor so he more than likely doesn’t believe in western medicine. He believes in preventing disease and treating the cause rather than the symptoms. Western medicine treats the symptoms, not the cause. He’s basically saying it’s a bunch of symptoms related to a shit storm going off in your body. If you don’t take care of your body, FMS is worse or these “symptoms” are your bodies way of telling you to treat it better. Fibro is kind of a dump diagnosis imo. Oh you’re in pain, tired, but it doesn’t show up on any tests well... we don’t know what you have... oh you have FMS ...and btw we can’t help you. Nobody has helped me with it except me. My doc just wants to give me meds. I was the one that told him all the supplements I take and how much they help. Also paying attention to what foods set it off. It still sucks though. About to try low dose naltrexone for nerve pain. Many people have had amazing results with it. But just another big Pharma med to take.
He just wants ppl going to chiropractors so HE DOESN'T BELIEVE IN FMS/CFS! HE CAN GO STRAIGHT TO HELL! I UNSUBED HIM!! He is just self-interested. I was diagnosed by a fibromyalgia specialist. And...it does exist you asshole!!!
@@angela2496 yeah. Big pharma! Do you realize how addicting Naltrexone is? Just as addicting as opioids. 🙄 Also! Chiropractors deal with basically "bone" issues and can't do piss all for soft tissue disorders. That's why he's promoting himself...FOR BONE ISSUES... and doesn't "believe" in FMS! I'd like to see him cursed with FMS. He'd be talking from the other side of his face THEN!!!! PIG!!!
BonBon I never filled the RX! Lol. Didn’t want to be dependent on a medication like that. Shit is hard as hell to kick. I’ve been on subutex and suboxone and let me tell you... getting off those was one of the hardest things I’ve done. So I chose to forgo the naltrexone.
Thank you Dr Mandell. Really appreciate your time and effort for this information. Just started suffering for this problem and it is so frustrating day and night I am in pain and almost 99% of the symptoms I am experiencing them day and night. In my mind I am just thinking how am I going to survive if my life is going to be in pain day and night. And sometimes when the going gets tough to die is a blessing not living when you're always in pain 24 hrs a day.
Lets not blame this on diet. I take vitamins and eat a Mediterranean diet and still have fibromyalgia. Let's not tell women it's all in their heads and not real. Ugh. Making healthy lifestyle choices doesn't always equal health.
Thank you so much doctor, I don't know your name .But it's reality that in UK when u get into some health condition and you go to GP then it takes ages to diagnose the problem and till then the patient get so many other conditions due to related chain. And doctor will never prescribe you any supplements except for strong medicines. Here you are helping people alot by giving them very affective advices , thank you so much
have been suffering from this since i was 25..before it had a name...now 67 has really taken a great part of my life and was diagnosed with it but also lymph problems......foggy and never sleep...you have become my hero as so few to find these days problems
I have all the syndrome I was diagnosed with it 14 years ago. I'm going through a lot of headaches and migraines. I went to see a medicine Rehap specialist, and I was told I have myofascial syndrome pain in the trigger points. Thanks, Doc, for all your videos. I will boost the magniusum, vitamin D3, and omega 3's in in severe pain. I can't sleep my head, neck and shoulder blades are hurting me so much. 😢
You are correct. Fibromyalgia is an emotional sickness because the root cause is emotional pain and abuse. That's why eating right and taking even the best supplements don't cure it alone although everything he says is true. I got rid of mine with Yoga, meditation, diet changes and EFT, also known as tapping.
Jennifer Clayton I refuse to let someone tell me it’s in my head! I know depression can bring on physical ailments but I don’t believe fibromyalgia is in your head. Everyone in the world has been traumatized one way or another. The whole world would have it. More and more doctors are finding a link between Fibromyalgia and Epstein Barr Virus. Have you ever had mono? Chicken pox? Shingles? Herpes of any type? Then that virus is in your body still and just went dormant. Something like a car accident jolts the nervous system and triggers the virus again, it comes back as fibro. Start googling Epstein Barr Virus and fibromyalgia.
Mine too, too much trauma. 1. His abuse, 2. The screwed up surgery then 3. The calls to kill me post op. Any kind of stress will send me into one big flare. The best i found to do. Vitamin D, DRibose, sun, and working out what i can bcuz the surgeon cut my nerve in my neck. They have found links that fibro can be genetic. They are also saying it's a nerve issue and and we don't make dopamine just like ADHD ppl. I don't agree with the lady that says it's benzos. She must've had a traumatic event to start it off and fell down a rabbit hole with MD's and meds. Not all of fibro patients take drugs. My cousins have it and don't take meds. That's 3 women in the family with it. Tell me it can't be possiblity a genetic issue.
Thank you so much Doc, this has been really really helpful and useful too. My daughter suffers very badly with Fibromyalgia and I’ve asked her to watch this. We’ve given her vitamin D, so that’s going to be really helpful too. Bless you 🙏🙏🙏🙏 Your really really amazing. Please stay safe and well too xxx Mags
I've been diagnosed with fibromyalgia and chronic fatigue I believe with my research that this condition is caused by the damage of the mitochondria. From years of eating high carb diets. Damage to the mitochondria leads to malfunction of all the cells. Hence the pain, fatigue, and inflammation. I do know that a low carb high fat diet helps me to feel better and especially sleep better. Thanks for sharing
I was diagnosed with fibromygia few years back I've told doctors a thousand times its not just that but they never listen I sed it might be that to I don't know but u need to stop saying it fibromygia for every pain and every symptoms. Some doctors always blame that no matter wat .I've sed I'm very breathless very weak in alot of pain with my chest arm and leg and blue lips and bad light headedness an all I ever hear is fibromygia and anxiety. I sed I'm having pancreas pain they say ur not I say I've had pancreas problems before which I had to diagnosed myself and was confirmed by consultant. Comes to something wen u have to diagnose urself some doctors need to go bk to college and actually listen and learn and also come away with a nice and caring personality! Great video thanks for uploading such great and helpful video ❤
I was diagnosed 20+ years ago. The one thing that is helpful is ultrasound therapy. Pain is minimized or gone for 24 to 48 hrs. This is too expensive for me. Also doing trigger point on myself is helpful.
I am a nurse with fibromyalgia! It's been 7 years living with it! The best help I hit is the one I found for myself! I foundroutines that work for me! But meditation, working on my own traumas, stress control, managing activities, knowing when I need to sit down and rest, 3:49 eating better, walking
I've only just started to follow you but you make so much sense in all of your videos. So thank you. I've just listened about fibromyalgia and hoping the same applies to polymialgia. I'm also going to have a look at how much magnesium to take. Once again thank you
it is stress. I have been in stress rehab for 8 weeks and stress levels are reduced and digestive problems also. We had neurosomatic exercises. meditation and breathing techniques. You won't get it solved by what you put in the mouth alone.
I don't know how to go gluten free, I'm trying to learn how to eat a diabetic diet. I need both, but it takes money to change everything in my kitchen. I'm going to try through because I'm tired of this fibromyalgia, lupus and neuropathy pain. Thanks for the tip on neuropathy healing and the (alpha lipoic acid supplement), it's been a life changer Dr. M.
I was diagnosed with fibromyalgia around 7 yrs ago. I turned to nutrition and supllimentation to help my symptoms. Carbs are definitely triggers for pain. Thanks for sharing
Thanks a lot doctor for explaining about the fibromyalgia pain & I can share this information to my aunt's daughter who is suffering from the pain .thank you .
@SirTedFairyspear2 This is what SOME doctors say, other doctors say it is caused by something else. In reality, they STILL don't know what it is and what causes it.
It is directly related to blood sugar (insulin) and damaged mitochondria. IV vitamin there can help. Methylene Blue glutathione as well, but you need other minerals with glutathione to maximize absorption and efficiency
Thank you for the information!! Such an eye opening. I love all your videos and all that you do to help people with as less meds as possible. You ‘re incredible🙏🏻❤️!! Thank you and God bless you Doc!!
I had this for decades, doctors said it was in my head...hormones are also a big part I believe. Despite doing everything and more to get rid of this I only ever managed to get 6 month's of serious improvement before it came back. I'm not the type to give up ut it's seriously challenging.
This was such an excellent video. Thank you so much for your knowledge. I went to school for holistic nutrition and I needed some good reminders of things that I already knew.
Dr. Mandell,
I cannot thank you enough my friend.
One more note - my initial post above would have taken me all day to write last year. But all I needed for this one was just a few minutes 😁
GOD blessings to you
Can you share the link to the videos which helped you out? I didn't get which ones exactly.
Thank you
What do you mean by diaphragm work? Do you mean diaphragmatic breathing?
Thank you for sharing your story!! Very encouraging!
Actors are getting oscars , while doctors like you , don't get recognised , for the wonderful work you do to help people , god bless you all🙏🏾
The big man above takes better notes. Blessings to you Ger
what big man above? Krishna? buddah? alah? thor? ~shakes head~
All of the above... hehe. :)
Exactly. This world is sick, or well the people are.
motivationaldoc wow I love your response to his comments "Doctor" God bless you🙏🏿🙏🏿🙏🏿🙏🏿
My sister who was a career RN had about absolutely no belief that Fibromyalgia existed... until she developed it. Total tune changer.
Yea, they never believe it until they actually get it and they cannot understand it. We hear all of this advice from people who don't even have it. I have found others who do have it and have managed to live with it. They share their daily routines and I've learned many ways to help myself but it NEVER goes away...NEVER.
I’ve found most nurses are the worst when it comes to understanding fibro pain.
Aha, more doctors should get it also 🆗😡
Thank you for spending your precious time to speak out about this condition and help the sufferers.
Can you please tell what you do?
You are not only best doctor, you are a kind human being too. God bless your family 🙏🙏
Dear Doc,
I must say that I have learned more from You than all of the MD's that I have seen in the last 30 yrs! Bless your Generous Heart and Thank You for sharing your extensive knowledge and experience!!
With Love and Good Vibes,
Dyane
I wish all doctors had the knowledge, morality, commitment that you do. Thank you!
Just the slightest touch can hurt when having an episode of Fibromyalgia
I cant do yogi... It hurts too much
Hugs hurt ☹
I am extra sensitive to pain, people who dont actually suffer it say I make it up they cant relate, dont beat down those who are down
Exactly ‼️ I don't even have the touch and I feel the pain. Plus stabbing, electrical pain squeezing areas of my arms and legs.
Oh yeah
Mandell.
There is so much genuine concern in the way to talk to us, I can always feel your positive vibes, God bless you doc!
What was best treatment for you please

Tired of having pain. Slowing my life down and all that great stuff you said 🥰👌🏽

you are the man !!!!
I have suffered from Fibro for many, many years. Thank you for your neck/sinus videos! They really help with the pain.
You’re Absolutely Blessing ❤
Real doctor i have ever encountered in my life. Long live Dr.Allen !
I'm sharing with my daughter , people on my support group , every day . I'm learning all the time . God bless you Dr. Mandell. K
You are a kind loving man, your kind look and tone are as important as your words.
Thank you so much Im glad i found your site..I have fibro 15 years and what you say makes so much sense..lots of love from Ireland.
@@nikkiejones4606 yes, it's from trauma unfortunately 😢
Thank you so much even people don't believe you when you tell them how painful fibromyalgia is.
Absolute genius tips to people like me who are suffering from serial pains in different parts of body, thank you for helping us.
You're absolutely correct. Good advice.
Kathleen Gustafson agreed
Check out Anthony William Medical Medium. Lyme and fibro are EBV in many. I have my life back after following the protocols!
Much appreciation for all of your time and effort in giving advice and suggestions. It is very helpful!
hi dr mandell I have followed your advice on magnesium citrate with k2 and high dose vit d for 3 wks and want to say a big grateful thankyou because for the first time in years I feel great, wonderful, fabulous and happy.
Blessings to you.😊

Can you recommend a brand of magnesium and k2 that you use?
Sheri Hartshorn hi yes I'm currently useing phi naturals magnesium citrate @400mg and k2 100mcg there are lots of good choices on amazon I also take a 375 mg magnesium oxide about 3 in the afternoon and this is just a cheep tesco brand I find it gives an energy top up in the afternoon, I also bathe twice a week in a hot bath with epsom salts and sleep amazing those nights I get that bulk in 5kg tub from amazon, recently I've also added a new suppliment Eucommia and the energy results have been amazing hope this helps sheri other suppliments I take are omega 3 fish oil high dose 2000mg (nutrizing) coq10 200mg (swanson ultra) vitamin D3 5000iu (hercules health) 1000mg kelp,(simply suppliments) zinc 15 mg (tesco) and 5-htp for anxiety and depression which flares up with constant pain and insomnia, I tend to shop around for offers and what I can afford at the time, as I'm sure you know this illness really damages earning capacity but I just researched each symptom and solution i started with energy then immunity, inflammation, pain ect and added a suppliment or two a month till I had it just right for results, good luck I truly wish you the best of health.... juicing really helps too, good luck there is hope for this awful illness x
p's gluten free diet, no processed foods ( when I have a naughty I take an extra omega 3 as it counter acts omega 6 processed inflammation causing foods then I can enjoy a guilt free treat ;) and loads of spinach, kale and bok choi in cooking with added herb such as garlic, turmeric, Chinese 5 spice ....and still learning all the time sorry for the essay.

Thank you for all the advice god bless you
Are you well now
I'm hoping you know Epsom Salts (Magnesium Sulphate) is used as a Laxative, when drunk dissolved in water, right?
I love you for being honest with the public and Not about pharmaceutical drugs and teaching the people how to take care of themselves rather then another medication Thank You!!!! # the pain is real
Suffered for almost 15 years..... symptoms went away after 1 week of going gluten free!!
Yes, this is true. Just keep in mind that most of the times the symptoms come back couple of months after eliminating food groups. This means that the source of pain is "deeper". Please, don't take me wrong. Don't want to cut your wings. Just sharing my experience.
(edit: By the way, great video Doc)
what do you mean, gluten free
Yola Simpson a
Yola Simpson wow
BeauMeztli do you do the magnesium and vitamin d stuff too?
ChoskarChulian yeah, I take calcium, magnesium, vitamin D, A, E, B complex and a bunch of minerals
ChoskarChulian pure baloney, sorry
BeauMeztli take aratic sea softgel &aloe gel
Best doctor ever. Everything you have ever posted that pertains to me works. And, I love ❤️ your staff.
Was recently diagnosed with this. I want to say IT IS REAL.
This guy is an angel from heaven! He's transforming my life! God Bless you XX
Extremely helpful, educated and motivational person and Dr! Thank you!
Same you
Thanks again Doc this is the most important info for my daughter who is afflicted with the symptoms you have mentioned 🌺
I hear you .. im going through same for many years, its horrific!!! I hope this finds you doing much better?!! If so, what helped?! thx. 💙🙏✨
@@EC-yd9yv honestly, since I posted this my health has gotten ten fold worse. I’d completely give up on everything of it wasn’t for my family.
Thank you again for your wise advice!
Thank you very much Dr.Mendel. "It is not a disease it is a syndrome" that makes me relief. I really love your videos. I got a Fibromiyalgia syndrome and your videos motivate me very well. God bless you Doc🙏
I started treatment with high dose thiamine - Elliot Overton.
I have taken gabapentin and antidepressants neither helped. Am taking the supplements u mentioned for 6 yrs and myofascial massages, eat organics as much as I can. Am doing quite well . Great tips.
Hii can I ask which supplements
Vitamin D3K2 has transformed my life from everyday fibro pain to no pain
I want to thank you to perhaps many of the people that you're helping countless tens if not hundreds of thousands of people that are in pain.
Thank you, Dr. Mandle. God bless you
Thank you Dr. for all of your good advice. I am in constant pain and the pain keeps me up at night, I am tired a lot.
Your advice is so right on I listen while I walk. Great info thanks so much.
Keep up your great work 😊
I start reconditioning in two weeks...I have hope this will help me..Neuro-feed back and bio-feedback therapy..I so pray this helps
@@awesomeamanda5267did any of the feedback help you?
Thank you for this video. Finally someone who is trying to really help.
you lost me at "I don't believe in it"
guadalupe castilleja Right!!!
Also!
Thank you so much Dr. Mandel. I needed this information today. I've have been suffering for years.
I started treatment with high dose thiamine - Elliot Overton.
Very informative, first time I’ve see. A video that actually helps..thank you Patty from Canada 🇨🇦
Lets not blame this on diet. I take vitamins and eat a Mediterranean diet and still have fibromyalgia. Let's not tell women it's all in their heads and not real. Ugh. Making healthy lifestyle choices doesn't always equal health.
May I ask if you have dental fillings? I suffer from fibro aswell, suspiciously since I got dental fillings. Im about to get tested soon.
Thanks a lot for sharing your knowledge and wisdom. God bless you. Greetings from Germany.
Thank you so much doctor, I don't know your name .But it's reality that in UK when u get into some health condition and you go to GP then it takes ages to diagnose the problem and till then the patient get so many other conditions due to related chain. And doctor will never prescribe you any supplements except for strong medicines. Here you are helping people alot by giving them very affective advices , thank you so much
Britain is bloody awful
have been suffering from this since i was 25..before it had a name...now 67 has really taken a great part of my life and was diagnosed with it but also lymph problems......foggy and never sleep...you have become my hero as so few to find these days problems
I really need this advise badly Dr. Now I know my BP tablets are affecting my system now. Thank you Dr. God bless you.
Do these 2 things: (1) drink ginger tea with no sugar regularly (3) reduce your sugar consumption. Done.
Thank you Dr. I just found you today, your video made me feel better. Been suffering for a while from fibromyalgia syndrome. It is difficult.
I was diagnosed with fibromyalgìa in 1998 and I believe it was brought on from extreme emotional abuse.
Jennifer Clayton I think you’re right
Jennifer, how are you doing now. I hope you have been in for counselling to help with all this.
Bonnes infos sur la fibromyalgie et les moyens d'atténuer les symptômes.
Good info and advises to help reduce the symptômes.
Thanks a lot Dr Mandell
Thank you so much Doc, this has been really really helpful and useful too. My daughter suffers very badly with Fibromyalgia and I’ve asked her to watch this. We’ve given her vitamin D, so that’s going to be really helpful too. Bless you 🙏🙏🙏🙏 Your really really amazing. Please stay safe and well too xxx Mags
I've been diagnosed with fibromyalgia and chronic fatigue
I believe with my research that this condition is caused by the damage of the mitochondria. From years of eating high carb diets. Damage to the mitochondria leads to malfunction of all the cells. Hence the pain, fatigue, and inflammation.
I do know that a low carb high fat diet helps me to feel better and especially sleep better. Thanks for sharing
I have fibromyalgia and it has been a battle. I am doing a lot of proactive work. Meditation has saved me.
This is a great video. Very informative. I haven't been diagnosed but I feel I fit all the symptoms. Thank you so much for the great tips!
Have just shared this wonderful video as i know so many friends that have Fibromyalgia.Thank you Dr Mandell.
Once again thank you
Finally some clear information and solutuons not relying on those awful drugs
it is stress.
Which supplement u take ??plz tell me
So is caffeine
They bloody put me on Gabapentin !! I hate it and I say no to NSAIDs I'm gonna go out and get me a shat load of vitamins
I feel carbs trigger mine when I fast from all solid foods i get relief
Thanks a lot doctor for explaining about the fibromyalgia pain & I can share this information to my aunt's daughter who is suffering from the pain .thank you .
how can doctor cure fibromyalgia when they cannot identify the source your pain,?
Sunny Foo ,aahhhhhhh... you need pill!
You should look into Lyme disease or EDS. That can help.
@SirTedFairyspear2 This is what SOME doctors say, other doctors say it is caused by something else. In reality, they STILL don't know what it is and what causes it.
@SirTedFairyspear2
yes, it is stress . . .
would like to write about this ,could you, please, tell me how can i contact you ?
thank you . . .
SirTedFairyspear2 excellent analysis, that’s what a lot of FM experts have concluded from many studies with FM patients. Thanks for reenforce that.
Dr. Mandel THANK YOU SOOO MUCH YOU ARE SO KNOWLEDGEABLE & AN AWESOME TEACHER!!!!!!!!!!!🌷🙏🌷
I had this for decades, doctors said it was in my head...hormones are also a big part I believe. Despite doing everything and more to get rid of this I only ever managed to get 6 month's of serious improvement before it came back. I'm not the type to give up ut it's seriously challenging.
A very good video which is so helpful. Thank you.
I have BPD as well as fibro. It’s interesting how these two have every similar symptoms. My life is hell daily.
This was such an excellent video. Thank you so much for your knowledge. I went to school for holistic nutrition and I needed some good reminders of things that I already knew.
