Magnesium and boron taken together. Also drinking a tiny bit of water with a pinch of salt helps. I only wake up once when I do this. Even my husband says it works. Otherwise we are up every 2 hrs. 😮
Thank you for these suggestions. I've been using double dose magnesium for years because I get terrible calf cramps at night but it doesn't help my nocturia problem. Like you I'm up every two hours. I will also try the additional boron and water and salt trick. Appreciate it.
Thank you, Dr. Mandell, for this insightful video on magnesium and its role in improving sleep and managing nocturia! 🙏 Here’s a quick recap for anyone interested: [1:10] Nocturia Defined: Frequent nighttime urination caused by fluid intake, medications, or health conditions. [2:30] Magnesium Benefits: Acts as a natural muscle relaxant, prevents bladder muscle contractions, and supports melatonin for better sleep. 🌿 [5:50] Food Sources: Spinach, almonds, pumpkin seeds, salmon, avocados, and more are great dietary sources. 🥗🐟 [8:15] Supplements: Magnesium citrate and glycinate are well-absorbed options. [10:40] Lifestyle Tips: Reduce evening fluids, practice bladder training, and try stress-reduction techniques like yoga or meditation. Incorporating magnesium into your diet and daily habits seems like a simple yet effective way to enhance sleep and overall health. Highly recommended!" 🌟💤
Just a warning, always check symptoms with your own Doc first, my husband was having same problem, I happen to mention it to my doctor , she spoke with him, and order test, he had cancer, and is now being treated. So even though I love motivation Doc. Just check out symptoms first. It could be nothing, but just in case.
I wake up every night around 3:00AM. I feel like I can’t hold it anymore. I feel like a little girl. I either get up and go or wet my bed. You always give such excellent advice. I’m definitely going to try this. Thank you so much!!!
Greetings to you. 3am is an important time in the spirit realm. If you are a believer in GOD of the Bible, perhaps HE would like to meet with you. If you are not, no worries and excuse me for interjecting. Have a great New Year.
Vitamin D3 needs magnesium and can deplete the bodies natural source of it so it's a good idea to supplement magnesium if you are taking D3 long term and in higher doses than the suggested 1000iu recommended on the bottle. I tale 4000iu daily and also 300 of magnesium at night. At 77 and a male I rarely have to get up now during the night. Prior to radiation for prostate cancer I also had BPH and was up and down at night maybe 6-7 times. All fixed now with just D3 and Magnesium 😃
70+, I added tofu and chick peas into my daily diet for my memory and heart.(estrogen and progesterone). TOO my surprise the very 1st day-that night-i didn't get up to pee-not once! I went from getting up 3-6 times to pee to occasionally once. I hadn't had a full nights sleep in years. It's marvelous. I have taken magnesium every day for years for vertigo and leg cramps-never helped with night peeing-but we are all different!
Plez tell me your recipes for tofu an chickpeas...how you fix them an if you dont mind ...th daily amt of them...🙂 Am asking for someone who is 78yo..💖
@elainenorgan5623 I cut 1pkg of tofu into 6 pieces and mix it into yogurt every morning. The chickpeas I put thru the blender with their juice, divide that into about 6 portions, freeze it and add 1 cube into homemade pancakes, which I fry up the whole batch-sometimes adding in fruit or nuts even pumpkin puree. I keep them in the fridge and eat 1 every morning and will eat 1 as a snack if I get hungry mid afternoon. I can't stand the taste of chickpeas that's why I "hide" them in the pancake batter. So there is no specific amount-just what I can tolerate taste wise of both. I don't think u can "over dose" on either. Good Luck💖 U may have different results. Make food your medicine🙏
You are truly an asset to our community. We love the advice to make us more conscious of our health. You are amazing and you bring joy to more people than you can imagine
You bring us joy! giving all sorts of people lifesaving advice...thank you and your team and especially your mom for sharing you with this world.God bless you andyours!😊
Dr. Mandell, just a couple of show ideas if you haven't done these already. Maybe a series for children with adhd, autism, etc. And perhaps you can bring a vet on and show us how we can keep our pets healthy naturally! Thank you for all the information that you give us. Happy New Year to you and yours.
Incorporating magnesium rich foods in your diet is a great way to boost your intake naturally some excellent sources include Leafy grains like spinach and kale nuts and seeds such as almonds cashews and pumpkin seeds whole grains like brown rice and quinoa legumes including black beans and lentils fish particularly salmon and mackerel as well as avocados and bananas and there are different types of magnesium supplements but if you are considering these supplements magnesium citrate and magnesium glycinate are known for their High absorption rates the recommended daily allowance for adults is 310 to 420 milligrams depending upon your age and gender in many situations people may benefit much more by taking a little bit more.
I worked so hard on my gut.. &my health and then caught a illness req antibiotics and I def didn’t want to take them. Had to take them to get better… though I’ve had terrible bouts with muscle pain. I guess it’s time to increase my magnesium, especially for the lower legs. This came in a good time.
I appreciate everything these videos teach us we just feed it right and put the right stuff ,our body's design to heal it's God made us to perfect we just have to maintain it properly, and I do not even remotely come close I try but not so much,
Good information but if the minerals are not in the soil they can not be in them the food we eat. Plants can provide vitamins as they get it from the sun not minerals.
After taking magnesium citrate and glycinate , so far - 12 am, up to per, 2 am up to per. . Salt water trick only made it harder to owe so that’s not good
I've been taking extra magnesium for a long time and it hasn't changed my getting up several times a night to urinate. Maybe I'm not taking enough. I take 200 mg of magnesium glycinate along with 50 mg in my multivitamin of magnesium oxide. Since you recommend 300 to 420 mg, I'll try taking more
Just a side note, if you are taking high blood pressure medication then you must check with your Doctor if it’s ok to take magnesium m. supplement. I’ve read that they don’t go well together.
Thank you and God Bless you Dr. Mandell Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to you and your Family and That Precious Mother of yours..I love her to Pieces she is a doll....

Hes being treated with what?
He is being treated for cancer, of prostate, but has spread to bones, and bladder. @ladyvirgo013
Frequent urination in men is top sign of prostrate cancer and is well known. That is why Dr. Mandel mentioned gender.
What kind of tests?
They did blood and urine @@francellew2073

Dairy causes it as well. It's all the stuff in it from factory and shots giving to cows. Tomatoes, cherry tomatoes as well, inflammation.
Why would you intentionally pee in your bed?
I’m taking Vitamin D and Now I Go Once Time At Night.. Before Taking Vitamin D 3 Times Night Being Pre Diabetic.. Now Add Magnesium ❤

I spray magnesium on my feet at night. The essentials oil.

Don't forget using your Celtic salt ❤👍because it contains 3 types of magnesium
Where can I buy Celtic salt?
I like Celtic salt myself
Celtic salt is available at health food shops
Or Amazon

I added boron to my magnesium glycinate & my arthritis is much less painful.
Magnesium also helps with restless leg syndrome.
So does a bar of soap under the sheets. Works wonders.
