Great explanation of the board. I couldn't find where it explained the 3.3/5v output jumper connection to allow extra power out and when you set the boards to off you can still use the outputs of 3.3v or 5v. Thank you

Surely the USB connector on the board is there so you can power it from USB, its not meant to be an output.
The chip directly under the cap has been overheating on mine to over 100+ degrees! any idea what the problem could be?
What size is the DC barrel connector? I want to buy an adapter, but I can't find what is the expected size.

I'm trying to power multiple ESP's that take 5v min. I have the same breadboard and power supply, but max I can hook up in a series about 4 ESP, is this the limit for the breadboard?

Your video was very useful but I still have problems with this module. I'd be so grateful if you can help me...is it possible to use this module when a have a circuit where there are other components placed between the 2 different voltage outputs? it means that the outputs wouldn't be in parallel anymore..Thanks.

I’m having this problem with mine where seemingly when I connect too many things to it’s 5V and ground pins it just turn itself off. It wasn’t doing this before and I’m not sure what the issue is (I’ve switched out the battery for a new 9V one). Any suggestions appreciated!
Have you solved it? It looks like you have some short somewhere or consuming more than 1A.

Can we use 12 v power adaptor as input for this?
Good idea is use 9V battery with use usb port to create a cheap poor powerbank but working one
That plug where the 9 volts goes in, is the center pin the positive or negative? Or maybe it doesn't matter?
The center of female DC plug on the board is +. All round DC connector have positive on the inside
How can I get 9v output from the module?
Can you tell me why under it, it has 2 pins for "+" and 2 pins "-" in each side ? Are a pair of pin just to put the module better on the board ?
It also powers the Breadboard

Hi this acts as an external power supply and would output more current.
How much amp it provides
I know a dumb qsn. But can I plug the breadboard power supply to a charger / power adapter through the other pin(not the usb but the other input hole) if I can get maybe a 9v power adapter? Pls help. I guess it should work bcz the power adapter/ charger converts the AC from socket to DC. And if I can then what is the optimum volt of the charger/adapter I should use. And I am not talking about the USB input . I am talking about the other rounded hole input.
Hi yes you can use a 2.1mm male DC jack as input. You can use voltages up to vmax as described in the video.

No, its written AMS1117-5.0 6.5V
Will i break the module if i put 12,8V to the input?
I wouldn't recommend going over 12V since that's the rated maximum
Sorry for the noob question. Can I combine the voltage in series such as 5v + 5v to get 10v?

Hi depends on the max current of the battery and the max current of the voltage regulator chips
Hi ,I have an power wall adapter that is rated for 12 V and 1.5 amp . I tested it with the voltmeter and puts out 12.20 V , would this be ok to power this kind of Breadboard Power Supply Module ?
Hi yes, just keep in mind that the voltage regulators have a maximum output rating of 1A
@@QRobotix How when AMS1117-3.3 its only up to 10.3V Vn?
@@orion310591RS looking at the datasheet, it seems like the AMS117-3.3 is powered off the 5v module so it wont see the direct 12v

Hi, the maximum rating is 1A for the voltage regulators. However, it also depends on how much your power supply is rated for as well.
