I had this episode on tape as a kid. It’s been a long time since I’ve seen this, but I watched it so many times that I remember most of this. Wonderful time to be a kid.
Combs looked he was having fun and you could tell he's a wrestling fan since he participated in numerous WWF PPVs and I read he was a real life friend of Bobby "The Brain" Heenan!
When you look at all the old WWF/WCW footage of Sherri Martel (Russell), it's hard to get by the image of her with all that ridiculous glitter makeup on. However, without the makeup on Sherri was truly a beauty and had a hot body to boot. And unlike today's WWE Divas, Sherri could really wrestle and wasn't there purely as eye candy. And no, she didn't have breat implants (also unlike most of the Divas).
I remember Wrestlemania 8 in 1992. Ray Combs was the ring announcer during an 8 man tag. He goes : "Here we have the Mountie. A man who does not the meaning of the word fear. But in fact there are alot of words he does not know the meaning of" lol
I remember the Giant Killer answering "Linus," like it was the most obvious thing ever, to "Name someone you'd meet in The Land of Oz." Ray: "You know how it is: You go down to Oz on a Saturday night, get together with Charlie Brown and Peanuts gang, do the town. No problem."
i remember these eps, these aired about 4 weeks after wrestlemania viii...the world bodybuilding federation was very short lived, only lasted from the summer of '91 to about may of '92...
One of the bodybuilders names were Major Guns, There was a lady manager/wrestler in the WCW later on that also went by the name of Major Guns she was the manager of The Macho Man Randy Savage.
It seriously makes me so sad to know how many wrestlers I loved as a kid are not dead. It’s unreal just how many have died, and almost al of them died way too young. I’ve shed some serious tears over the lost of certain wrestlers. Bobby The Brain Heenan (I know he was really well known as a manager, but he was wrestler before that), Rowdy Roddy Piper and Scott Hall are three losses that made me shed some major tears.
terre haute events...you're are correct. the footage belongs to mark goodman and abc...vince can't claim any. especially when he's aligned with nbc! ;)
My question is, why didn't Vince take some guys from the WBF(which he owned) and put them in the WWF? Maybe their answers at the end had something to do with it.
SPOILER ALERT, Maybe: I can't remember, I think Knobbs was the first one on the fast money and he got like..8 points, and Brain tried to walk away when he heard about it. Does anyone else remember?
I hope somebody puts up the Family feud with TEAM HBK vs TEAM MACHO MAN. HBK's team was HBK, Jimmy Hart, IRS, Papa Shango, and Repo Man and Macho Man's team was Macho Man, Tatanka, Slick, Big Bossman, and Hacksaw Jim Duggan? I believe, HBK's Team shut them out.
I noticed Ray sighed after Heenan confused him with Wink. Did Ray have a beef with Mr. Martindale? I do remember Ray once guest announcing on Tic Tac Dough in 1983, and as they came back from commercial, he said "Fuck you, Wink."
Love it! Old School Wrestlers! go to PAPW TV and CenterRing316 and check out former WCW/WWE Superstar Pretty Paul Roma and former WWE Veteran Mario Mancini and there promotion Paradise Alley Pro Wrestling here in CT home of the WWE, thank you!

Same here. I believe my tape actually broke since I played it so many times
If you happen to find it I like to see all of the episode please upload Justin A.

I miss Sensation Queen Sherri's SENSATIONAL smile!! ;*(
Mountie was subtly going to 'shock' Ray Combs when he turned around and that is amazing.
The Mountie, greatest wrestler of all time!
I agree. I didn't appreciate him at the time but looking back he has to be one of the most entertaining personalities I've ever watched.
Most underrated ever. So funny too.
The Mountie truly was great. Lol. He should get much more love than he does.
Had this on tape as a kid. WBF came back to win the game, and also won fast money round.
but i knew her in real life. she was one of the sweetest persons you could ever meet

Heenan is funny. Did anyone else think they were watching a Tic Tac Dough rerun when he called Ray "Wink?" ;-)
I remember Wrestlemania 8 in 1992. Ray Combs was the ring announcer during an 8 man tag. He goes : "Here we have the Mountie. A man who does not the meaning of the word fear. But in fact there are alot of words he does not know the meaning of" lol
Bobby Heenan one of the greatest heel managers of all time. So quick wit.
Jacques Rougeau à la Guerre des Clans.
Incroyable !

Ray: "You know how it is: You go down to Oz on a Saturday night, get together with Charlie Brown and Peanuts gang, do the town. No problem."
See, Vince McMahon is sitting on a gold mine, they need to release this stuff on DVD.
i remember these eps, these aired about 4 weeks after wrestlemania viii...the world bodybuilding federation was very short lived, only lasted from the summer of '91 to about may of '92...
The Mountie ALWAYS gets his points.
awesome would like to see full episodes
McMahon puts all heels on the wrestlers team to get his bodybuilders over, and try to get people to like them.
Bobby Heenan to Ray Combs at the 1993 Survivor Series: "I was on your show, I would have won it all! I just had bad partners!"
I love Bobby Heenan
Sherry was hell of actor. I didn't feel gimmick at all. RIP Sherry, you did alot good things for others.
RIP Sherri, RIP Ray Combs
RIP....
Bobby the Brain Heenan
Sensational Scary Sherri
And the host Mr. Ray Combs
Oh, and also the WBF
Sherri was a doll. So missed.
"TUCK MYSELF IN!!! >:-( " lololol awesome.
In about four years all of the team WWF participants were in World Championship Wrestling.
Crazy to see sherri in this. She was always a good heel. Great entertainer!!!
best family feud ever!
Amazing!
RIP Sherri Martel...
One of the bodybuilders names were Major Guns, There was a lady manager/wrestler in the WCW later on that also went by the name of Major Guns she was the manager of The Macho Man Randy Savage.
+Mr. Allen C. Sokolik Jr. (Awesome One) actually she was the manager of Hugh Morrus as General Rection and later Lance Storm
Three members of the WWF team are Hall of Fame members- Hart, Sherri, and Heenan.
The other two should be also.
Kind of ironic the way the WWE stars came through the intros in this version and also how it was done in the O'Hurley version.
That thought came to my mind as well.
RIP Brain and Sherri!

Anyone know where the whole version of this is?
Part 2-3?
Sherri was so cute here
terre haute events...you're are correct. the footage belongs to mark goodman and abc...vince can't claim any. especially when he's aligned with nbc! ;)
What happened to the rest of this episode?
Can we get the rest of this episode? Why only the first 6 minutes?
Was there ever a family fued episode of wwe vs American gladiators?
Probably because Ted and Vince didn't want to have their stars aired on the same stage at the same time.
The WWF stars had so much more personality than their WWE counteparts!
Sherri was so cute!
How sad to just find out on wikipedia that Sherri passed away on June 15th.
Interesting thing I noticed- all 5 of the WWF team members were heels.
That would be great if they put wrestlers on SURVIVIOR maybe than i would watch it
man i love this. i love wrestling and family fued. o man such a good video........ray combs killed hiself lol
That's not funny dude! 😭
that would be awesome, they should of done it during the monday night wars
Need more in the decrip
Seeing how Bobby addressed Ray..
What show did he think he was on? Tic Tac Dough?
Bobby heenan is the brain he shouldve also went on jeopardy
WCW had stars on this two years earlier. How come we couldn't get a WCW vs. WWF?
First and last battle, as the WBF went out of business shortly afterwards.
that family feud with macho man and hbk was on yesterday 8/20 on game show network HBK's team did shut them out
Why they never have WWF Wrestlers on Family Feud 1992 on DVD put it on DVD Emall me back
So it was basically WWE vs WWE
The title should have been WWF wrestlers vs. WBF BODYBUILDERS and why didn't you upload the entire video?
oh..yeah!!
Do they still air these episodes on GSN? Anyway, RIP Ray Combs!
How long after these episodes aired did the World Bodybuilding Federation go out of business?
@Inediblehulk wow, good one buddy, good one, really good, one, good......liked it.......yeah.
LoL all good bro!
Why WWE never have Family Feud with Wrestlers on DVD
This was fun. Weird seeing Ray Combs again. I can't believe the guy killed himself. Pretty soon after this year I think.
My question is, why didn't Vince take some guys from the WBF(which he owned) and put them in the WWF?
Maybe their answers at the end had something to do with it.
SPOILER ALERT, Maybe:
I can't remember, I think Knobbs was the first one on the fast money and he got like..8 points, and Brain tried to walk away when he heard about it. Does anyone else remember?
how/when did sherri die?
WBF - damn, all those guys were jacked up on roids for sure...
Tuck myself in LOL

WBF!
LMFAO!
2 wrestlers.
It is now posted. It was Crush not Duggan.
I noticed Ray sighed after Heenan confused him with Wink. Did Ray have a beef with Mr. Martindale? I do remember Ray once guest announcing on Tic Tac Dough in 1983, and as they came back from commercial, he said "Fuck you, Wink."
I believe the WBF won at the end of the week.
Was the Mounties Cattle Prod real?
He says it was.
3:57 lmao
I never heard of those bodybuilders. Must have been rejects from chip n dales.
Too bad Ray Combs couldn't hang around a bit longer...
lol the body builders looked so ridicoulus :)
the wwf team is so random
"The Special Olympics of Connecticut" HAHA as if that's an actual charity! Heenan was planning on pocketing the doe!
McMahons failed body building company, lol
Boston Brotherhood don't forget to take your ICOPRO
Wow. The wrestlers looked like geniuses next to the bodybuilder idiots. Heenan was the best! So quick.
They should have done wrestling stars vs wrestling's greatest jobbers
Gary Stardom lol
For the right side, anyway.
Coulda been way better, its how did some of these guys get over
2- Knobs and the Mountie. But still...
Heenan rules!
(Also, why is Jimmy Hart, "The Mouth of the South," managing The Mountie?)
... why not?
Wow, WBF Really did take steriods
