@@JeffHorchoff You can make a good estimate on whether she will get mated or not by inspecting some of your larger (populace) hives for drones. If you see drones without specifically searching for them, the chances are pretty good. If you can't find any even with looking for them, the chances are close to if not exactly zero. If you can find only a couple, you might consider artificial insemination (or an indoor mating cage).

Bad here very dry we never got a drop.
@BucksBeesS.C. 50 full depth make frame for them 25 a rowstainless round bar wire frame s but with plastic. Insert one on top one opposite side can have4 insane bottom place both to centre sheet 24 x12 both 25 frame holders keep to center of sheet now come out 18 ins 360 deg of frames x2 of 25 that's the size of swarm trap did one last week now they have drawn out 19 frames can have plastic full depth foundation at a vertical use dacron with turn buckles as well mount box between 75mm x75mm rhs. Waistline height.

Hi mr Ed.
7 / 8 LB of honey? thats 2 gallons of mead plus some extra to make it sweet :)
One of these days I'm gong to have to make some mead, I know several beekeepers who make it I'm just not a fan of alcohol...just the honey. Thanks for watching. God's peace Mark.

Hi
Unreal I only got 50 deep frames wire but with 2 in plastic insert one goes to top one opposite side bottom make stainless fram for 2 rows of 25 for swarm trap goes to center plus 18 ins of timber 360 deg around frames of edge seal plase hole for entrance place black Beatle bubble over hole cut cross under entrance 10mm wide add liquid steel so when bees guard the have a channel to push Beatles over cross then jar with oil does the rest all to do is wait for bees to draw 50 frames out and wait for a queen cell or cells split and selll.😂 no mites yet here so when they turn up if I loose the one mega trap done dusted go to more native bee's. Bad here very dry we never got a drop.

Not cheating. 300 years ago they used what they had and did not feel like they were cheating. God gave use brains to invent and progress for his benefit.
I'm all in favor of letting technology help me with the bees, especially when it saves my back for hurting. Thanks for watching. God's peace Lisle.
