Delighted to hear you enjoyed watching and thankful for the support of my efforts. I post these videos, to show just how important bees are to our very survival, and why we should not just kill them out of ignorance. I have been rescuing bees from being needlessly destroyed for over 14 years now, and hope to continue to do so for many more years to come. Thanks for watching, and I hope you will check out more of my over 600 bee wrangling/ bee rescue adventure videos and let me know what you think of them. I'd love to have these girls at the abbey, but unfortunately they are only visiting. Sweet bees for sure! Thanks for watching. God's peace Phil. Mr. Ed
Thank you so much for coming out and helping us with the bees. Now, we can finish our renovations for the sanctuary. It was my first-time filming so I hope I did a good job. God bless, Phil
You setup the site, opened the wall, got us some great angles (like 22:40 showing us what the problem was), vacuumed on a ladder, and even closed out the show. I love it when the guests know the outro.
I have tried 4 or 5 different types of head lamps over the years and not one of them has put the light exactly where it needs to be. I have always had the best results by holding the flashlight with my teeth. I may look weird, but it works great. Thanks for watching. God's peace Heather. Mr. Ed
I have tried at least 4 different headlamps over the years hoping one of them would work well for me. Instead they are all the same, they give great light, but the main focus of the light is not exactly where I need it to be. For that reason I still use my flashlight. Thank you for your blessings and for watching, it is greatly appreciated. Also, I hope you will check out more of my over 600 bee wrangling/ bee rescue adventure videos and let me know what you think of them. By the way, I post a new video every Friday morning, and I look forward to hearing from you again soon. God's peace. Mr. Ed
Honey from the comb is truly the best way to appreciate the taste of the work of the honey bee. Thanks for watching, and I hope you will check out more of my over 600 bee wrangling/ bee rescue adventure videos and let me know what you think of them. By the way, I post a new video every Friday morning, and I look forward to hearing from you again soon. God's peace brother. Mr. Ed
Some great bees for sure, and they are back where they came from, but this time, they are in a bee hive instead of the house. Thanks for watching, and I hope you will check out more of my over 600 bee wrangling/ bee rescue adventure videos and let me know what you think of them. By the way, I post a new video every Friday morning, and I look forward to hearing from you again soon. God's peace. Mr. Ed
I was amazed as well and so grateful they were not aggressive as we were working inside the house on scaffolding with not a lot of running room. Thanks for watching. God's peace Eric. Mr. Ed
Love it when it's not "fast forwarding". You and the bees deserve an academy award for all the work of filming and being a no potty mouth channel. Anothe benefit, You make my blood pressure go down watching you TYVM, love you , and may the God you believe in bless you!
The problem is Devil runs the world. He is lier and murderer. This is the reason why Hitler got the power, but Christ was executed as "blasphemer" and "rioter" by denunciation of clergy. That's why we've got the Gospel about the God's kingdom. Jehovah would put everything in order. The dead will be resurected and we'll meet our beloved ones again! :-)
Delighted to bee there when you need a bit of lowering of your BP, it's good to hear that my videos produce effects I'm not even aware of. Thank you for your blessings and for the time you spend watching. Until the next one, God's peace Betsy. Mr. Ed
What a magnificent hive! I weep for all the honey I see dripping on the floor! That is the thickest comb I’ve ever seen! Truly amazing honey producers!! Thanks for sharing this one!
I knew when the wall was opened and I saw the comb this was going to make a great honey video....and it did. Beautiful comb and great bees, still was a shame to have to spill so much honey removing the comb. God's peace Cheryl. Mr. Ed
As much as I appreciate the kind thought, a head lamp just does not work for me. Over the years I have tried 4 or 5 different ones each with the same effect, they light they give is not placed in the right place I need it. It still is the best way holding a flashlight with my teeth as the light I need is placed int the correct spot I need. Thanks for watching, and I hope you will check out more of my over 600 bee wrangling/ bee rescue adventure videos and let me know what you think of them. By the way, I post a new video every Friday morning, and I look forward to hearing from you again soon. God's peace. Mr. Ed

By the way, I post a new video every Friday morning, and I look forward to hearing from you again soon. God's peace. Mr. Ed
In the past I have tried 4 different types of head lamps hoping to find one that would put the light exactly where I needed it. Unfortunately, none did the job as well as holding the flashlight with my teeth which is why I continue the practice to this day. Of course it does result in stings to the face, but it is worth it. Thanks for watching, and I hope you will check out more of my over 600 bee wrangling/ bee rescue adventure videos and let me know what you think of them. Gods vrede Jenny. Meneer Ed
I like these videos of where bees found their home in unlikely places like these best, it always looks so wonderous and unique compared to my own normal hive set up. (Which I love watching as well) I get that these people want these bees out of their wall but it looks so amazing. I love how bees figure out ways to make places like this work for them and how they adapt the hive for the locale.

I agree, and what has really been special this year is just how many of these beautiful hives I have been able to remove and relocate. You just made me realize I must live in a great foraging environment for my bees. They fill their boxes with nectar so fast, even in March when the temps are not so great. I'm still learning. Thank you for the education today. 😊
Delighted to be a source of info for you. Thank you very much for taking the time to follow along with my bee wrangling adventures, and remember, I post a new video every Friday morning, and I look forward to hearing from you again soon. God's peace. Mr. Ed

Wow So much honey from such a young hive. Hopefully this queen's genetics for gentleness and honey production sticks around with you for a long time to come.

I am having what I think will be my most productive year, all of my established colonies and my splits are full of bees and brood and honey, Im even having to put supers on splits I made six weeks ago, everything has gone mad. Last year I increased my wild flower borders all the way around my garden and doubled their width to 3 feet, I also have cherry and plum trees that were covered in blossom and the lavender beds are about to flower also in June through to October and so my ladies have all the resourses to keep them extremely busy. I thought the success was down to the wild flowers but my bee club members are also reporting crazy success also.
It has been a very good year for bees and beekeepers for sure. I'm happy to hear you are having the same results. Thanks for watching, and I hope you will check out more of my over 600 bee wrangling/ bee rescue adventure videos and let me know what you think of them. By the way, I post a new video every Friday morning, and I look forward to hearing from you again soon. God's peace Andrew. Mr. Ed
Something sure is working in their favor this year. Shortly after our tornado hit here in Sulphur, I noticed bees on my memorial rose plant (planted so my Dad could see it from his bed before he passed away) for the first time. I've never seen bees in my yard before. I wonder, is it possible that the tornado could have blown them here, or is it more likely a swarm just set up shop somewhere nearby? Anyway, this was a beautiful hive, and a very nice queen. God bless you both!

Most people don't realize how exciting it is to find the Queen! I am a bee keeper in NE Florida and I remove bees as well. Good on you my brother from Granny in/from Florida 👍😘🌴
I sincerely hope that those that do watch share in the joy when I discover and cage the queen, it really is so cool! I know you know the excitement. Thanks for watching, and I hope you will check out more of my over 600 bee wrangling/ bee rescue adventure videos and let me know what you think of them. Delighted to hear you enjoyed watching the video, we really had a good time sharing the experience and are so happy to share it with so many others. Thank you for your blessings and for watching. Until the next one, God's peace Gilly. Mr. Ed
I saw your video pop up so I got out my knitting and a cuppa and knew I was in for a relaxing video. Lovely, gentle bees and another super removal. I envy your being able to just take a nonchalant bite into all that goodness. A delicate operation cutting into that comb. Must be really satisfying and then right at the end there SHE is. A job well done. Tku and blessings Mr. Ed.
Bay Ed
Very nice hive with gentle bee's! The owner, Phil, seems very knowledgeable in construction and a great help to you getting to the bee's. Can't wait to see the girl's in their temporary home at the Abbey. God Bless!!
You may have noticed the similarity in names on this video, and with a name like Phil, the bees have got to be great one. Their stay won't be long, but I'm sure they will enjoy their visit. Thank you for your blessings and for watching. Until the next one, God's peace brother. Mr. Ed
I love seeing the way those Bee's built their honey comb .I have always thought a Honey Bee' should have a place near the Bald Eagle as a symbol for Industry in America. Great show!
I love the symbolism of the eagle as our nation's strength, but since the honey bee is absolutely necessary to our very survival due to it's pollinating ability, it should be considered as a candidate for some dramatic representation. Thanks for watching. God's peace Gibby. Mr. Ed
If you really want to see some "mouth watering honey," check out the video link below showing our honey harvest this year, I know your mouth will bee watering by watching. Jeff my great uncle Georgie from Macon county Tennessee would allow his bees to draw out thick comb with no base in the frames. He made 2 or 3 inch frames for honey in comb, as he loved honey in the comb. I remember going to his house and on the table was a big chunk of capped honey comb as thick as you are cutting in this video. He even sold raw honey in the natural comb in big 1 gallon cans. That honey was the best. Have you ever thought of doing that at the Abby?
What a great story and I'm sure you have very fond memories of your uncle and his honey. Thank you for sharing that and for watching. No, I have no plans on making cut comb for sale to the public, I'm just not set up to do that type of marketing. God's peace Raymond. Mr. Ed
We love them old home places! The old true rough cut lumber that most likely come from right down the road, along with those 10ft ceilings. Man, what a beautiful place! Oh.... And that was an awesome cutout too! 😁
I love doing removals from these old homes as well. Very often the comb construction is like the one in this video due to the space available to the bees to "get large quick." Back in the day when I made my living in a mill shop, I used to make all the components in these houses, floor coverings, wall coverings, windows, doors, casings, stair components, railings, and moldings as well, and each time I visit one of these structures it brings me right back to those days. And I have to agree, the cut out was awesome. God's peace Tim. Mr. Ed
@@JeffHorchoff heard that. Most of that type work is slowly becoming a lost art. There ain't many left that have those type carpentry/craftsman skills. The majority of the younger generation will never know what it's like to build something with your own hands, then look back at it and go... Now that looks good!
My word for this one is CALLLLMMMMM! Man we're they calm. Only one kiss on Phil, I just can't believe the thick honeycomb, I wish I had a jar underneath catching that stream of beautiful honey. Another top notch removal! XOXO
Beautiful hive! I love seeing you remove the bees, but also love seeing you frame them up, building the new hive in the box and the honey, love seeing you extract the honey!!!😍
There is so much more to beekeeping than simply having bees in the yard, and for me, that's the reason I make the videos to show that and to show how much fun it is doing all the things necessary. Thank you for your kind words and for taking the time to follow along with all of our adventures. And don't forget, I post a new video every Friday morning, and I look forward to hearing from you again soon. God's peace Pamela. Mr. Ed
I don't know why, but it's so relaxing watching you cut through the hive..You're gonna have to give Good Time Charlie better lunch breaks sir if he's going to tag along lol 😂 ❤❤❤ He said he needs LUNCH!! He's not taking honey for trade to fill his belly lol ❤❤❤

@JeffHorchoff that was a lot of honey also. It looks so tasty, but I am highly allergic to it. My husband really like what you sent us he uses to cook his carrots in it.

05:09 Wow (';' )(';')( ';') ! Now that's some fresh comb :) Ok, at 11:18 you've likely mentioned it before, but where can we get one of those long-bladed knives? 15:42 Always amazed by how clean they keep that bottom space. Thanks for showing that area! 26:31 That's one fantastic monolithic slab of honeycomb :) 31:25 She's a keeper. Thank you for this wonderful demonstration, Jeff! :)
Just for you Fred, the link on Amazon to the 16 inch cake knife: Mercer Culinary M23113 Millennia Black Handle, 16-Inch Wavy Edge, Cake Slicer I have to say, I really appreciate the opportunity I am given to see so much of how bees live in the wild, and I am also very happy to share the experiences I have. One more thing Fred, if you would , please try and watch this Friday's post, at least the first 8 or 9 minutes of it. I really think you will appreciate the freeze framed photos of the comb I removed from the hive. Always an honor having you watch and leave a comment. God's peace brother. Mr. Ed
It is not true, there are bees in Arizona and Texas that are not Africanized, but it is true the Africanized bee did originate from Brazil. Thanks for watching. God's peace Alan. Mr. Ed

The speed with which a hive can grow is based on just a few things, genetics, environment, and readily available food source, and when these elements are in place, like they were for this hive, the sky's the limit. Jeff.. I love your videos and your joyous presentation style. One thing I've noticed though, you should really treat yourself to a head lamp/torch. The old torch in the mouth thing gives terrible jaw ache!
Over the years I have tried half a dozen different head lamps but none have put the light where I need light to be. So, I keep going back to holding the flashlight with my teeth. Not the safest way to hold it, but most effective. Thanks for your concern and for watching. God's peace Simon. Mr. Ed
I’m quite frightened of bees 😮😅😊 But you are so calm and happy with them 😊 I enjoy watching At least from a distance I’m sure if the bees and I met in person My heart rhythm would turn me into a target😂😮😊

Not rancid, but it can ferment. And if it does, I feed it to the bees, they do not care at all. I'm planning on a removal tomorrow. I can only hope they're as well behaved as these girls. The home owner said he got popped 7 times mowing today but not by the house so that bares investigation. Ground based colony or yellow jackets....I don't know. The kicker, I'll be doing the removal from the attic. It's supposed to get to 90 tomorrow. I won't be using smoke and I'm almost afraid to vacuum. I'm going to try J.P. The Bee Man style of shaking them into the setup as I go and frame. Also I started on TH-cam shorts with whatever I could film in 60 seconds..... Tomorrow I think I'll try shoot for a long form video. I don't have good video equipment but when did that ever stop anyone..... Thanks for being an inspiration and showing how it's done by example. Watching people like you on TH-cam has made network TV almost unwatchable. I'll do my best.
I'm very confident you are going to do very well. Let me know how the removal goes, but I do not envy you having to work in an attic. God's peace Leon. Mr. Ed
@@JeffHorchoff I got everything loaded up so I could head down and hit the job first thing in the morning. The last thing I did was load the vacuum head for the everything bee vac. When I tested it the battery was dead. No matter how long I let it charge it never came back so I'm building the a battery powered vacuum like your wooden box one
For me, it's more than just removing and relocating the bees, it's mainly about retaining this precious resource and making it sustainable. Thank you for your blessings and for watching. Very cool to see how much comb an honey they built in such a short time. Thanks for sharing Jeff I have learned so much from watching your vids. An now have caught 4 swarms in total. Your a wealth of knowledge God bless an as you said in your vid thank you Jesus

Or if that isn't a possibility for some reason, see if you can get a mouthpiece for it as that has to be more comfortable. The idea for the mouthpiece I got from Ocean Conservation Namibia, which uses them for their cameras.
I have tried at least 3 different types of head lamps over the years, but not one of them has been able to put the light exactly where I needed it to be. Holding the light with my teeth has proven the best practice so far. Of course it also has been the reason for many bee stings to the face. The thermal camera I am using is made by Vevor, and I am very satisfied with it's performance. And, on top of that, the cost is cheaper than a lot of other thermal cameras. If you go to the Vevor website type this in and it should find it: VEVOR Thermal Imaging Camera, 240x180 IR Resolution with 2MP Visual Camera, 20Hz Refresh Rate Infrared Camera with -4℉~1022℉ Temperature Range, 64G Built-in SD Card and Rechargeable Li-ion Battery I hope this is a help for you. The video does not do justice for the fragile nature of that brand new comb. When comb is white and new like that, it literally crumbs in your hand. It has very little strength. As comb ages, and bees work more propolis into the wax, that is what gives it strength long term. I joke that old comb (5+ years) is so tough, you can beat someone with it! It just shows the perfection of God's design of nature.
You and the bees deserve an academy award for all the work of filming and being a no potty mouth channel.

The girls did not mess around when they built that comb! Such gentle and calm Bees, that is a genetic line worth building on.
I'd love to have these girls at the abbey, but unfortunately they are only visiting. Sweet bees for sure! Thanks for watching. God's peace Phil.
Mr. Ed
@@JeffHorchoff If you have them at the abbey for two weeks, that should be sufficient time to graft some queens of this hive.
Were those poor Bee's infested with those bealtes I saw you kill 2 of them? Why don't the Bee's sting and kill them?
Thank you so much for coming out and helping us with the bees. Now, we can finish our renovations for the sanctuary. It was my first-time filming so I hope I did a good job. God bless, Phil
My pleasure Phil. It was a real joy working with you on the removal and I know these girls are going to do great for you. God's peace brother.

You did a great job! it was cool to see your property. Nice hive to add to your beeyard.
A pleasure to meet you, I love the house. You did a great job, as good as Good Time Charlie😊
You setup the site, opened the wall, got us some great angles (like 22:40 showing us what the problem was), vacuumed on a ladder, and even closed out the show. I love it when the guests know the outro.
How deep is honey super
Someone please buy this man some head lamps!!!!
I have tried 4 or 5 different types of head lamps over the years and not one of them has put the light exactly where it needs to be. I have always had the best results by holding the flashlight with my teeth. I may look weird, but it works great. Thanks for watching. God's peace Heather.
Mr. Ed
Mister Ed you need a headlamp!❤ God bless you and your work amen!❤
I have tried at least 4 different headlamps over the years hoping one of them would work well for me. Instead they are all the same, they give great light, but the main focus of the light is not exactly where I need it to be. For that reason I still use my flashlight.

We need to get Mr Ed a Rechargeable head lamp. Holding the lamp with your teeth!
Mr. Ed, a headlamp could make things much easier for you .😊
In the past I have tried 4 different types of head lamps hoping to find one that would put the light exactly where I needed it.
Great job❤

I love seeing the way those Bee's built their honey comb .I have always thought a Honey Bee' should have a place near the Bald Eagle as a symbol for Industry in America. Great show!
I love the symbolism of the eagle as our nation's strength, but since the honey bee is absolutely necessary to our very survival due to it's pollinating ability, it should be considered as a candidate for some dramatic representation. Thanks for watching. God's peace Gibby.

I plan to keep on watching since you’ll be making more. God Bless Mr. Ed!! And Phil too!! Beautiful, beautiful slabs of honey!!
Phill seems like a great guy, and you had another GREAT removal ❤❤❤

My favorite beekeeping fellas xoxoxox
That was some pretty honeycomb. Great video. The camera man did a great job too. Charley may have some competition. 🤣🤣

The speed with which a hive can grow is based on just a few things, genetics, environment, and readily available food source, and when these elements are in place, like they were for this hive, the sky's the limit. Thank you for your blessings and for watching. Also, I hope you will check out more of my over 600 bee wrangling/ bee rescue adventure videos and let me know what you think of them. By the way, I post a new video every Friday morning, and I look forward to hearing from you again soon. God's peace Mike.
Mr. Ed
The had of the master at work. Love watching.
Not a master at all, just a simple bee wrangler loving when he has the opportunity to wrangle some bees. Thanks for watching, and I hope you will check out more of my over 600 bee wrangling/ bee rescue adventure videos and let me know what you think of them. By the way, I post a new video every Friday morning, and I look forward to hearing from you again soon. God's peace brother.
Mr. Ed
Mr. Ed
I’m quite frightened of bees
😮😅😊
But you are so calm and happy with them
😊
I enjoy watching
At least from a distance
I’m sure if the bees and I met in person
My heart rhythm would turn me into a target😂😮😊
Awesome
Jeff, what a beautiful hive. Love to see all that honey and all those girls ready to go to work!!!!
A truly awesome hive for sure! Thanks for watching, and I hope you will check out more of my over 600 bee wrangling/ bee rescue adventure videos and let me know what you think of them. By the way, I post a new video every Friday morning, and I look forward to hearing from you again soon. God's peace Thorne.
Mr. Ed
Will uncapped honey go rancid?
Not rancid, but it can ferment. And if it does, I feed it to the bees, they do not care at all. Thanks for watching, and I hope you will check out more of my over 600 bee wrangling/ bee rescue adventure videos and let me know what you think of them. By the way, I post a new video every Friday morning, and I look forward to hearing from you again soon. God's peace Mark.
Mr. Ed
You take such care and patience to get those bees. Great job, and God bless
For me, it's more than just removing and relocating the bees, it's mainly about retaining this precious resource and making it sustainable. Thank you for your blessings and for watching. Awesome. Thanks for the video.
Delighted to hear you enjoyed the video, it really is my pleasure sharing them. I post these videos, to show just how important bees are to our very survival, and why we should not just kill them out of ignorance. I have been rescuing bees from being needlessly destroyed for over 14 years now, and hope to continue to do so for many more years to come. Another 'By The Ton' hive. Tell Sir Charles that Pill is going on the payroll and that you two ate at the best place in the WORLD and he missed out! LARGE guilt trip! Have a Jesus Weekend and God Bless ALL Yall!
I could never put Charlie through the torture of having missed a great meal...I need him to much to even tease about it. God's peace to you as well Lewie.

Great Job, Surgeons!!
Hello Amanda, hope all is well on the homestead. I have to be very careful when removing the new comb, it is quite soft and does require a bit of the gentle touch when handling it. Until the next one, God's peace.
Mr. Ed
Well, realize the girl also goes looking for the bar where all the guys hang out. And she ain't looking fir just 1...
So what you are saying is the queen is not as innocent as we make her out to bee. Great hearing from you Tadd, God's peace brother.

Nope. And contrary to our morals, the more she be a hoe, the better queen she is for us
Qweens gottha BOB (big 'ol butt)! 😱🤪🤣👍👍🇺🇸

And fortunately for me, they did not make me have to work to hard relocating them. Until the next one, God's peace Suzanna.

Hey Hey Jeff. How are you. Hope you are doing awesome. Love the video. The queen was hiding from you.

Very cool to see how much comb an honey they built in such a short time. Thanks for sharing Jeff I have learned so much from watching your vids. An now have caught 4 swarms in total. Your a wealth of knowledge God bless an as you said in your vid thank you Jesus

Seems to me you’d benefit to wearing a work apron for your tools to be at ready position. A washable or hosed off apron. Just an idea. 💡 maybe a strappable light for mouth or hat idea 💡 😊😊😊

I miss good time Charlie but Phil did a stand up job filming in his place.
I have been doing so many removals lately, and the fishing is really on right now, Charlie has been fishing instead of bee wrangling. You should look into a "headlight" they are led and wear some attached to a cap or like a visor. Then everywhere you look it is illuminated
Thanks for watching, and I hope you will check out more of my over 600 bee wrangling/ bee rescue adventure videos and let me know what you think of them. By the way, I post a new video every Friday morning, and I look forward to hearing from you again soon. God's peace brother.
Mr. Ed
I had to use them for my work, I would look on Amazon there are so many types, even ones with multiple sources of lights and remote battery packs
Ed, you have a lovely beard 👍
Like bees that have good genetics that are passed down through the generations, so too I have been blessed with great genetics that come from grandparents and parents...and my wife thinks so too. Thanks for watching. God's peace.

Hey Jeff long time listener I’m lm looking to buy a new heat gun can you send me some info on the proper gun to buy thank you
The thermal camera I am using is made by Vevor, and I am very satisfied with it's performance. And, on top of that, the cost is cheaper than a lot of other thermal cameras. If you go to the Vevor website type this in and it should find it:
VEVOR Thermal Imaging Camera, 240x180 IR Resolution with 2MP Visual Camera, 20Hz Refresh Rate Infrared Camera with -4℉~1022℉ Temperature Range, 64G Built-in SD Card and Rechargeable Li-ion Battery
I hope this is a help for you. Also, if you type in the promo code VEVORSALE5 you may get an addition 5% off if the code is still applicable. Thanks for watching, and I hope you will check out more of my over 600 bee wrangling/ bee rescue adventure videos and let me know what you think of them. Bees are amazing
And so are you Larry for your faithfulness to my channel and all the support you have given. God's peace brother.
